  • Can't find/install face transfer unlimited

    The serial number? Hmm...I think that might be my issue, right here. I didn't enter any serial number, as far as I can tell.  Hmm...After checking, I have several serial numbers, there. I had never looked into this tab. Although it refers to "face transfer" not "face transfer unlimited". Is that the correct one anyway? 

    And where/how do I enter this serial number?

  • Star Trek Builders Unite 8: THE REBOOT

    I applied the suggested changes and made several of my own, also made a better quality GIF (that gloss on the hair has got to go!).  The face "pose" is my attempt to mimic the pose from the STNG season 1 episode 21 "The Arsenal of Freedom".  I'm not sure about the legality of posting the original image, but it is easily found by a Google image search.

    Again, please provide your feedback.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but since this morph was made from purchased face morphs not specifically marketed as "merchant reasource" it is unshareable?  Is there a legal workaround?

    Face Transfer saves it inside the Scene Subset it makes.

  • Plugin does not work in C4D R23

    For me it still functions fine (But not perfectly) if I run it on  Poser files,  but anything using the new DAZ files it'll do what you're experiencing.  

    Morphing Python  (Poser .cr2 file)   Export works fine!
    The Constrictor  (DAZ 'DUF' file)   <Nothing happens>

     

    I ran through and checked a dozen figures each.  Every Poser file exports fine - albeit with every joint's alignment being borked -  and every DUF file refuses to even initiate the script.    Honestly, I've taken to just exporting figures via FBX when possible and then tweaking them myself, but  I might look into the Blender one if the joint alignment problem's not present there though, since I hear most of the development effort in the Bridges is funneled into that one (Not hard to see why, Blender's free after all).

    - You install Unreal Engine 4

    - You download for free Quixel Megascans PBR materials from Epic store - there are a lot of them (159 packages at the moment)

    - Using https://www.daz3d.com/daz-to-unreal-bridge you transfer any Genesis 3 or 8 based characters you like

     and play with them in UE4

    It would be just better if you had a right click on the morph dial, the option to brwse to folder in order to find the refering .../data/*.dsf file.

    Change subd to 3 or 4, apply hd morph through shaping tab, and if you have the ability, remove normal from texture.

  • Genesis 8 Expressions on Genesis 8.1

    Make sure you are deleting the folders from G8.1 morph folders and not from G8 morph folders.

    The folders will be added back everytime you reinstall or update Genesis 8 Starter Essentials.

    Some are seeing bogeymen everywhere, but if you look at what's inside the files and have any understanding about how the morph files work, you see there is no danger. and if you want to put them back for any reason, just reinstall the Starter Essentials.

    I love that ship!

    I also love using either of the LoRez 14MU Workers as LoRez pilots.

    They animate well! So I make a generic pilot animation that's really long, doing different things throughout the timeline, then make an NLA clip that I can add to any LoRez Lorenzzo/Loretta based figure, and slide the clip around for each, so they're all doing different things - works Great!

    With all the huge amount of .../data/... files, it would be nice, to have the option to browse directly to the referring .../data/... file from the parameter tab.
    It has now become a true PITA to search the whole .../data/... folder, in order to find one particular morph file.

    It probably will close, it sounds as if it has a lot of clearing up to do - often the case with morph-heavy figures. It's single-threaded so you see only one core's worth of activity. Force-closing can damage the settings files or even the database, so it is to be avoided; you could start a fresh instance instead Daz Studio Pro 4.12 - instances

    E' giustissimo Zio Imago, solo che le istruzioni di DAZ sono come un puzzle da 1.000 pezzi da ricomporre da solo. Tra un manuale che non spiega quasi nulla, pagine online risalenti alla vecchia wiki, link a pagine non più funzionanti, video su youtube di gente che ha smesso anni fa (molti non hanno più pubblicato nulla e i video vanno dai 5 anni fa in su) e una valanga di post del forum in cui provare a cercare info ai vari problemi... trovare qualcosa è una vera caccia al tesoro. crying
    Non ti dico quanto ho sudato per cercare info su come creare morph, ora le sto cercando sulle weightmap (vorrei creare/editare dei vestiti e il Transfer da problemi..). Inoltre anche Iray non mi è ancora chiaro in alcuni punti...(per Filament mi sono dovuto andare a vedere la guida ufficiale di Google !)
