If there were going to be Halloween items, they'd have been better off being sold at the beginning of the month so that people would have time to use them in time for Halloween, so what we'll probably see is a few store-dump sales of existing halloween-ish type items.  As it is, the Universal Monsters' appearances all so all heavily restricted these days, especially since the families of Lugosi and Karloff now get a cut of the proceeds, that I doubt the sales would be worth DAZ paying the price for a license when there are already half dozen different versions of most of the classic characters and sets in the store that come as close as one can without crossing the line, often multiple times in a single genereation, especially when anything licensed would be as heavily restricted in terms of usage rights like the Star Wars stuff is.  As it is, I suspect that Tempesta3D's Frankie and the Bride for G9, and RawArt's Victorian Monster are about as close as we'll see in Genesis 9.   

KISS was such an iconic band.  I even remember a KISS tribute album released in 1994 titled "KIss My (bleep): Classic KISS Regrooved" and it featured Garth Brooks with his cover of the band's "Hard Luck Woman" - which was Garth's only top 40 hit on the pop chart, if I recall.  There was even a long instrumental version of "Black Diamond" by a symphony orchestra, plus an acoustic remake of "Rock N' Roll All Nite".

I also had a desire to dress as one of the members of KISS - Paul Stanley to be exact - for a Halloween dance I went to in 2005, which was inspired by the 1999 movie "Detroit Rock City" I had seen weeks before the event. The DJ even played "Rock N' Roll All Nite" at the event, and I was dancing along to the song like a real rock star. It was the only time my costume ranked among the top three best costumes, as I won third prize - a DVD of the 1996 movie "The Fan".  At the time, my KISS costume was the first time I wore an actual costume with makeup since 1994.

KISS performed in my hometown, St. John's, Newfoundland, in the early 2010s - I believe it was around Halloween.  The concert drew a large audience, as if many Newfoundland residents love KISS.  I could of sworn I read an article a few years back that KISS was calling it quits - and it makes sense since many of the members are old enough to be grandparents. I tell ya, many of the iconic singers from the 1970s - and even 1980s - are dying.  Even Madonna is having health issues now.

I completely replaced the head, and did some horrible cheating with the glass to make it show behind the head but not obscure the face much.

I think the offers/prices contradictions have been all over daz for a while, and this week in particular making items in the 'Wishing well' more expensive than if they were left alone. BTW, i don't know wich bundle you tried, but being premier and with only 5 tokens i can get several G3 pro bundles to $5.54 without owning a single item in them. With 8 tokens i think it can go as low as $4 and Only buy in is purchasing a GT. They want to charge $6+ for the starters version after spending a lot more in the new character? I think 'contradiction' is an understatement for today and i will censor myself from using other adjetives.

What also bother me is that lack of proper offers on Core New releases in general. Even with the Pro version contradiction, G3 starters for $6/$8.....really? While with G8 new realeases we used to get previous G8 pro bundles after stacking discounts for similar price of these G3 starters. And on purchasing something the new bundles also got some G3 bundle for free and/or more of those bundles for $2 or $3. G9 new releases should be targeting cheap G8, but i think daz is really forcing the 'hide G8 as much as possible to not compete with G9'.

I tried the filters on my wishlist, noticed I had one purchased item among all my pages of stuff (result of buying a bundle and having the single item still on the list), clicked the 'only owned' filter, and found it right away. Took two seconds to remove it from the list, vs. the several minutes of looking page by page that it would have taken me otherwise.

I've been a fan of it since it first debuted in the Dark Horse Dark Empire comics, and have loved all the different interpretations we've had on the design since then, from the more chunky, true to the originals, right down to the slick almost BSG Viper like takes I've seen some 3D artists go with. Yes, the figure for this ship is available: STAR WARS The Vintage Collection Lieutenant Callahan, Ahsoka 3.75 Inch Collectible Action Figure on Amazon. I've sent a DM to the person on Deviant Art asking if there is a 3D model available.  As for the Kenner version of the ship - mostly AWESOME, but the cockpit slides and there's a terrible gap at the front edge. Lots of Photoshoppery.  Still, it is a beautiful ship design! Onward and Upward! Pressing on Regardless.

I loved her as Ginger McKenna in Casino by Martin Scorsese, one of my all-time favorite movies. That led me to watching Basic Instinct semi-recently... dang, they smoked a lot back then! :D A LOT of smoking, I mean, seriously. Also, that leg cross which shooketh an entire generation.

I realize that many folks may not be aware of the US codes, or even ones in their own countries, but I have served in many countries where disrespect for their flag, memorials to their wars, or damage to historical sites can land you in prison. Wearing red, white and blue in an outfit as solid colors is fine, but the actual flag design it not. For Americans, the colors represent specific values we aspire to. For me at this time, it is a sore point to see a handkerchief used that has our flag imprinted on it. Or as gym shorts or a bikini. Crosswind, I was not pointing this out to you specifically. This is something that has personally driven me nuts when I see the our flag on shaders.

Paul's is just a black star on a white base. I don't have a link to it, but all you'd need to do is make/download an image of a star and apply that in LIE.

DEM Broken Doll has a design that looks, shall we say, inspired by Gene Simmons, and would just need a white base. Paul's would be easy to do with a manually positioned star-shaped mask, and Peter's seems like it would be pretty easy to draw on in Blender or whathaveyou. That only leaves Ace's, which is probably the most complicated. Also, I don't know what era of KISS you're looking for, so I just did the original lineup.

With the way that artists can just disappear here, I do try to pick up things in my WL within a reasonable time frame.  That said, there are still a few really old items in my wishlist, mostly Genesis 2 items and things for odd figures like the original Star.  And., needlessto say, I suspect that the huge super discounted cart of 126 skus I picked up on Wednesday might have cleared out some potentially eligible items.

The thread opener is a bit of a narrow topic so it is bound to go in other directions. The production mentioned makes it clear AI is being used. This example shows problems created with out this kind of clarity.

Thought I would update this. Apparently, this AI channel is not only violating YT TOS because it is undeclared, but the owner of said AI channel has had "his" AI music stolen, posted and registered on music sites for money by others. This is how this can spiral.
