Question on HS dForce Breast & Surface conflicts
Hi, I was wondering if anyone had encountered this problem before. I am trying to simulate breasts into a space smaller than they are -- a metal breastplate. The effect would be the breasts beign squished and flattened. I'm not sure if this can be done with this app, and if it can, what the easiest way to go about it is. Open to any suggestions! Due to subject content, no pics!
I'd learn how to make morphs in Blender, and apply them using the Morph Loader. In Blender, you could either sclupt the breasts or use proportional editing to achieve the look you want. If you're going to want to do more ambitious things like this, Blender is certainly your friend as it will make lots of things that seem complicated actually easy. Daz Studio and Blender were made for each other.
First though is the daunting task of figuring out the Blender UI to be able to do ANYTHING basic, LOL
MimicMolly's Renders & WIPsI haven't forgotten about the shark merman, been busy doing other things. In fact, just to mess around, I decided to save him out as a scene subset and make a whole new scene with him that I plan to update the previous "Self Portrait" render. Unfortunately, I have to figure out what to do with the backdrop, lighting and even the HDRI. I want this to be more brightly lit and for the background to compliment both of them, in terms of color palette.

I used the Osuine Scale morph from Osuine G8F, because that's close to my IRL height. (I am 5'1".) The shark merman scares me, his hand is as big as my head. X_x; And yes, the dress clipped like that on my other render and that's why I did postwork with GIMP. I also forgot the earrings, but it's too late for me to keep working on this.

Oso - Can You Make a Tatzelwurm?A tatzelwurm is a type of dragon with a cat front end (and paws) and a serpent back end, no wings. It's got fur on the front end and scales on the back. I tried to morph the Oso Draco Furo but I can't get rid of the hind legs. I don't have your Will's Wurms product and would probably have the reverse problem of getting the front legs back and morphing the head into cat. And, of course, the ears are missing. But after seeing the fox morph of the DAZ Dog 8, I figured you've got most everything almost in and might be interested. Here are some images. Hopefully, other people will also be interested. Personally, I like the cat version better and supposedly, they're really good at persuading non-dragon hearers that they are just cats. They are large animals, in the 30-40 lb range. The Caracal might be a good example for a tatzelwurm

Thanks. Today I thought, hey why not use morph targets on buildings, something else to explore...
Immense fun!
After that, if you really want to sample what your imagination can do, add a skeleton rig to them!!!
I made some pretty cool Sci Fi control panels and rigged them so that I can easily shape, fit, and rotate portions of them to fit anywhere I'd need them to be. Although I never finished the project, those panels were a blast to play with. I thought it was incredible how far I could change the original shape without making them look funky.
The thing was, I didn't have any limits or constraints applied - but I was going to. Without any limits, I could grab any one bone in the hierarchy and scale, rotate and/or translate it - so it was really fun to see all of the variations that the rigging allowed for!
Cheers mschack, and keep having fun!!!
Has the Transfer Utility moved? All of a sudden my menu bar is different, and I can't find the Transfer Utility. Or Add Smoothing Modifier. Or convert figure to object.
How to apply morphs and shapes? So i have the daz studio latest version and i have the "Growing up" for genesis 3 morphs and shapes. I also have the genesis 3 base models. Though, when i select the figure And try to apply a preset, morph, or shape. Nothing happens. The model does not change, no errors are given. it simply refuses to apply it. i checked the parameters tab for morphs and there is nothing there. all files are in the same directory where Daz can access them
am i doing something wrong?
Which skins don't have the under butt line?I do think it's weird to bake in shadows for iray textures... I have never come across a person that wanted them, but I can see how it might go unnoticed or happen accidentally. The character with the butthole problem has a morph that mostly hides the issue. But when you put her skin on a basic g8f and shine a light there, it becomes very obvious. I will try to update my first list later. Falling a bit behind on stuff today.
AIUTO...CHI CONOSCE L’ITALIANO? PARTE TREDICIGrazie per i commenti.

@ Kainjy: Gli alberi HANNO displacement, normal e bump... Speravo si notasse di più.
Devo rivedere.
Some Stuff (Shrubbery Thread)Thanks. Today I thought, hey why not use morph targets on buildings, something else to explore...
V4 -> G8F Shape Product?DS5 will not overwrite DS4. So you can presumably still use GenX with DS4, then use the resulting morph files with DS5.
Any idea what the name of this chracter model is ?Here's my try:
Genesis 8 Female
XF Jane for Genesis 8 Female(s) (Head Morph)
Mousso Blue (Texture and Body Morph)

... the answer is no

Perhaps Zevo or Riversoft will make a product like that once DS5 comes out, which might disable GenX.
Thanks for the reply, but I hope GenX doesn't get disabled because that is the main way I transfer my shape morphs...

It depends on what you're trying to copy from one character to another. If you're talking about morphs, they should automatically install on both the 8 and 8.1 bases
If the morphs are made for G8.1, they will not 'automatically install' to G8 because G8 will not see or load them.
They can be made to work on G8, but that requires moving the morphs to G8 morph folders and maybe some manual editing of the code inside the morphfiles.

Eyes scale morphsShape splitter is easy to use if you read the PDF. But if you just load the script and start pushing buttons, it will be an uphill battle. You can isolate any part of any morph, as far as I know. For what you want, you could use the region method to isolate the eyes part of the lara morph and generate a dial for just that. Then split the lara eye morph into two using the plane method that shape splitter offers. Alternatively, and more easily, just use the plane method to split the generic eye size morph (from the daz standard morphs) into two so that the new dial only affects half the face. Easy peasy.Eyes scale morphsThank you both so much for the help w this, it means a lot to me!

The first advice sounds a bit difficult and above my skill level, so study the morph in notepad. The second sounds difficult too, but perhaps I can try that. How do I export just that eye morph to obj? won't it be the entire G8.1 base?If it's possible to write the instructions more detalied it would be great
. I work so hard on my art, it's my biggest passion in life, and what I was born to do, but I can't do anything about the eye bug, the scale issue and the posing issue. To pose the eyes individually is so incredibly difficult. Different values on the eyes. What is normal and what is an eye dissorder? no matter how good I do that posing, I still have the different eye size
. I am not skilled enough in ph shop to resize one of the eyes, she would end up looking like an alien lol. VRoid in DAZ? Trying to make head attachmentYes, the Deco or Kururu or similar would emulate this type of dance-software figure quite accurately, with some small re-shaping. I think there are even morph 'shapes' for these that will turn a G8 into these figures, but I could be wrong. There are also various packs of anime type eyes like that.
Genesis 8.1 to 8In theory, you can export an 8.1 character at base resolution and re-import it as a morph for G8, then reapply the materials (with some manual cleanup for the differing material zones).
Never tried it, though.
