The great thing about Daz and working with morphs is that, often, like in this case, you start out trying to copy another character or real person, but end up being "inspired" by it, and create something entirely new. Attached is my "Maryam" character, as a result of this. I used RareStone's Face Morphs Collection for Genesis 8 and 8.1 and Genesis 8 Female Head Morphs based on FWArt's "Dayana" figure. Her hair is Morgan Hair, her skin from JASA's "Flynn" figure and her eyes from Victoria 8.1.

I bought some things I had almost given up on, Victoria 3 items, that were in the sale. How long is it that I've wanted them? Must be getting on for 20 years after seeing them - I am now the very happy owner of a Cheongsam for Jim Burton's Glamorous Vickie 3 (left character), The Ingenue Vickie figure (right character). I also re-shadered the contemporary High Fantasy Gazebo and High Fantasy swords. Then paired with Howie Farkes' Stone bridge from in the earlier part of the sale and UltraScenery and it's possible to get something like this:

OK, more artistic people (I.e. those with any talent at all) would get a more interesting image, but I'm happy.

There's nothing in the bundle that I don't already have multiple versions of. I have aging morphs and don't need any extra older characters. There's nothing new here. I don't like the actual character but she seems to mix well with other characters and looks better with other skins. Her lips look so dry, and fake which is my biggest problem with G9 and hard to fix due to the new texture structure. But I have a ton of morphs already for G9 and, in general, I like PA characters much better than DAZ Originals so this bundle doesn't interest me. Except for Victoria 7 and 9, I always seem to like PA characters better than DAZ O's and I've always found that odd. Of all DAZ originals, V7 is still my favorite and wish they'd make a V7 for G9. Im not geeky enough to do it myself lol.

I may have gone a bit further if I didn't made an error when I set the time limit before going to sleep: I though I set it a 7 hours, but it was only 5… I did 3 hours more since, in 1 hour increment with a bit of downtime to let my poor CPU cool down a bit (thankfully, even with the ventilators at full speed, it is not too noisy) but going all the way to 95 % of the image converged may have added 3 to 4 hours of rendering time, while the current result felt good enough.

Anyway…

(Narrator note: a bit less than 11,000 km and they have towel props now!)

The products list is on the gallery, and it's a short one. I chose that environnement (from another site) because it was cheaper than Japanese Onsen available here, at Daz even if it look really good. It's too bad, it was on sale before I decided on the topic of my render, it's currently back on sale, but was not when I worked on the project

Fun fact, like the previous projet, towels were also a problem during this project, up until I learned it was possible to copy-past textures from one surface to another, combining the GF2 freebie model with a paid product textures

Oh that is wonderful Elor ... and thanks for the heads up for Japanese Onsen ... it is now on my wish list!  grrrrrrrrr... I was just starting to get my list down... lol.  Hope you gave your CPU a loooooooooong rest... it deserves it.  Well done!

After trying myself with a chair, I don't think it's easy (or even possible) to cheat the sitted version, at least not if the seat is as large as the area one needs to sit in the first place. To say nothing of the fact that our arms are usually not long enough to cheat here

The power loaded add on is installed and loads the morph sets fine.  It's the hi res and standard res materials that won't work. They are installed and are actually showing in the content manager and they are all installed to the same loctation, they just won't load and I get a message saying the file can't be found.

The body textures (on Victoria 9 at least) are 4k. The 8K textures are the macro detail maps (similar to skin detail maps Vicky 8.1 had but I believe hers were 4k?)

IMO 8k is more a resource hog than a feature. Even 4k textures are absolutely ginourmous and more than enough for good detail. G9 would be a lot more revolutionay if it had like built-in soft bodt physics simulation or something of the sort instead of having humangous textures that mostly eat memory
