I don't know if my 2nd responce will be posted (this forum's posting style sucks, it's not automatic, and I get no feedback if anything posted went through), so I thank you for your responce again.
I found a match for my first posts "look" here:

Thanks for the reply.
After taking your suggestion of the character base, I've searched, and found a "proof for myself" match in this bundle promo.

No matter the details come from (muscles, bones, tendon, vasculature, etc.), they'll be shown by morphs and textures that can enhance them. Yes, that's the case as you mentioned, HD morphs could be only made by PAs with a MultiResolution plugin, which can export and import the figure with High Resolution level. Users can only use Base Resolution Level. All other so-called 'HD morphs' make by some users are all fake and have various problems. So normally users just buy some packages with HD morphs.
But it doesn't mean you cannot create such morphs by yourself with Base Resolution, as long as you can use some tricks, eg.g a bit heavier sculpting + careful smoothing and refinement, as what I just roughly did in SS down below....
I was afraid of that... I'm not the best at sculpting. I guess this is another reason why I should get better. Are you aware of any published products labelled as "merchant resources" that include these sort of morphs?
AFAIK, nope... I haven't seen any other 'big morph package' products (more than 200 partial body morphs) in which there're similar HD morphs you mentioned, and is marked as 'merchant resources' at the same time, except for some products from Zev0 and bitwelder.
BTW, in general, 'merchant resource' means that you can use the product to create your own resources (shapes, morphs, textures, etc.) for commercial purpose. If you only use products for buiding your scenes and rendering, you don't need any merchant resources, as Richard mentioned.
That is, for creating new productas that will be sold = or more rarely given away - as content. If you are selling only the final image then the basic license will cover you, with a few specific exceptions (the old Anne Marie Goddard Digitial Clone for Victoria 3, for example).
Right ~~ Fortunately what were before V4 are not in 'my world'

I only work with G8

Ultimate Pose Mixer Pro with Mega Pose Toolkit (Commercial)find it here : https://www.daz3d.com/ultimate-pose-mixer-pro-with-mega-pose-toolkit
Ultimate Pose Mixer Pro with Mega Pose Toolkit, let’s call it Pose Mixer Pro in this page, is the widest set of tools I ever made to simplify the pose creation and modification process. As usually it must be installed either manually or with DIM. It is compatible with ANY figure you would work with, and it allows you to process partial areas of the body in many ways. These areas basically compatible with all generations of human figures (from victoria 4 to Genesis 9) are in general : full body, upper body, lower body, head and Neck, right or left : arm, leg, foot, hand, and finally any selection of bones, or selected bone and children (these two last option being one of the ways to process non-human figure). The whole is very easy to use since the wide majority of the scripts come without interface (click and the result is here).
The actions you will natively find for these body areas are :
- lock/unlock bones which will allow you to :
- load any pose (and as many poses as you want) as a partial pose (only the unlocked bones are then posed)
- pose your figure manually more easily : locking the correct body areas and the hip translation allows you to prevent your figure from bending anyhow or moving anywhere while you pose it.
- combine additional locked body areas to most other “full or partial body” actions of the mega pose toolkit, listed just after. For instance you can in two clicks zero the right arm (using the zero right arm script), but not the right hand (if you applied “lock right hand” first).
- lock/unlock is the only “function” to come with an optional dedicated interface for people who want to work with interfaces.
- Process various actions on partial body areas mentioned above:
- zero, with an optional bake procedure (hold down shift to skip this procedure)
- mirror or swap, with specific trunk/hip/pelvis options. These mirror/swap actions ignore often the lock status that is why more specific script are included to take it into account.
- alter (random), amplify or attenuate (with a controllable amplitude and rotation protection - x, y, and/or z can be exclude from - the process choice by simply holding down specific keys).
- Save partial body areas: the partial save including more body areas than usually (both arms, both legs…). Default save options can be specified seperately in easily editable text files.
Additional general tools are included, which can be useful is specific cases of figures (3 bake utilities, one fast store, fast restore locked – or unlocked bones, selection tools, menu installation, toolbar visibility management).
It is very easy to work with all these scripts : all the scripts can be launched from your content in organized folders, OR from a well organized menu (optional), OR from hideable/showable toolbars (optional).
One of the important feature which is not “immediately” visible is that you can work more easily with other “non-human” figures now. For instance, you can in a few seconds say that the “left front paw” of your dog corresponds to your “left arm”. And ALL the “left arm” scripts you will launch will act on this “left front paw”. This is made in literally 3 clicks.
The second important feature is the possibility to create your own specific body areas, via lists automatically generated by a scripts, and to process any of the actions mentioned above on these lists. For instance, you can select a dragon wing (all children the bones using a ‘select all children’ script), launch the ‘add to list’ script, declare a “dragon wing” list. Then, at any time, you can launch the “process list” script to do any of the actions mentioned above (lock/unlock/zero/mirror-swap/alter-attenuate-amplify/save) on this specific body area.
For this who already use the basic version of the pose mixer, this basic pose mixer represents less than 20 percent of the Pose Mixer Pro version and include all the new actions and possibilities described above. I probably forgot a few things, but the main ideas are here.
here is a short intro video (since it is still very difficult to post images today).
As usually this is the right place for all your questions, remarks, issues, feedback you would have on this product ! You can also do it via MP if you prefer.

Would they intrigue more potential customers if DAZ came with Mic and Vicky instead of these more simple examples?I don't know if it's still offered, but when I created my account in June, among the e-mails sent by Daz was an coupon to buy the Basics and Beyond Tutorial Bundle for $10, which include Victoria 8.1, two sets of clothes, hairs, an environnement and a link to a tutorial by Jay Versluis explaining how to use Daz and build the scene.
There was also a coupon to get $100 worth of items for free among a selection, but honestly, the selection felt badly thought for a newcomer: it's including product from many generations, some from before iRay other from after, with plenty of characters that required a Daz Character to look like their promo shots.

Hard for me to tell. The skins the characters use look almost exactly like the existing texture sets, howerver I notice there's some subtle difference between the Kat charater and the caucasian skin, with the version from Kat character's looking more airbrushed. Possibly some extra variation in eyelashes that wasn't there before.
I guess it's nice for beginner users to have easier 'one-click' characters to try out, but I wonder if Daz is doing itself a disservice by not showing more of what what Genesis is capble of upfront. Would they intrigue more potential customers if DAZ came with Mic and Vicky instead of these more simple examples?
Thanks for the answer. I think I'll leave this update in DIM if there's not more than this.
Victoria and Michael are still the most appealing Core Figures at this point. Giving them away might help those who are still G9 resistant.
Underrepresented Styles, Themes, ErasLike many others who've already commented, I'd love more multi-cultural and historical content.
I do book covers for an author writing African fantasy, so I'd really love more stuff I could use for that project. The vast majority of clothing items in the store are Egyptian, and more sub-Saharan items would be awesome! Maybe some updated kente clothing for G8 or G9? The only ones in the store are for Victoria 3. Oh, and more headdresses and hairwraps would be lovely too. I am greatful to Sade for making the Colorful Fabric Shaders pack -- that helps a lot, since I can rework other items for Sub-Saharan Africa.
The historical periods I'm interested in are mostly 1800 to 1930 Europe and Americas, so Western, Steampunk, Victorian, Regency, Roaring 20s, Edwardian, Gilded Age, etc. I'm not sure that any of those areas are particuarly lacking in the DAZ store, although right now there's not a ton for G9 (especially male outfits!). But that will change in time. Working class outfits for 1800 - 1900 are underserved. I love the Vintage Nurse dress, since it's very flexible and doesn't look like the wearer is in the middle of a gala.
I'd be another who'd appreciate more Native American type clothing. I'd also be fine with something generic like the Mountain Trapper outfit by Meshitup. I like that outfit a lot!
I like the hobby props from SilviaAnt3D a lot, although I could use more items that could fit into my historical periods. More historical musical instruments please! Merlin Studios has some great industry props that I could use for my time periods. A weaver's workshop would be great (with a loom!). I'd still love more historical arts type props, so I do a historical painter or sculpter's workshop. A sculpting prop pack would be cool and would go well with the existing "turn G8/9/whatever into a statue" kits.
I'd like more post-medieval horse drawn transport where there's actually a harness that attatches the horse to the cart. I'm honestly suprised we don't have more in the way of fancy carriages fit for Cinderella!
Those are the areas where I'm most likely to buy an item the day it lands in the store. I've narrowed down my focus areas a lot and have become pickier with what I buy. I've already got so much G8 content that I don't often use.Oh, and lastly, I think the wheelchair options in the DAZ store are the sports wheelchair and a hospital push wheelchair? I don't think I've seen a motorized wheelchair.
Genesis 8 Core Figure ListNew! Novica & Forum Members Tips & Product Reviews Pt 14Here's the group from today- was WAITING for Cake One and Vyktohria! I wanted a Sexy Skinz to go under a low cut sweater I picked up, and this volume 3 had what I needed (a scoop neck with short sleeves, looks like a t-shirt.) So if you need something like that, this is that volume. That Tropical Retreat has so many props for outdoor use, couldn't pass it up.I started with about 80.00 in the cart and whacked it down to 37.92 and 85% off as I used 7 tokens (35% off additionally) Wrapping up my spending and not even looking at what's offered in October, as that's the only way I don't spend.
Love that butterfly jewelry!

Freebie Challenge September 2023 - Gardening - Entries Thread3D Art Freebie Challenge September 2023 "Gardening"
My second entry.
[Best watched at full size for details.]"My organic vegetable garden..."
The tale: (Not entirely fictional)After taking a snapshot of her cherry tomatoes, Victoria thought it would also be nice to take a photo of her courgettes. They also seem to be doing well again this year with hopefully a good harvest. A few oat plants from last year have even reappeared in between the cherry tomatoes...
Non-motion Picture Soundtrack:

The great thing about Daz and working with morphs is that, often, like in this case, you start out trying to copy another character or real person, but end up being "inspired" by it, and create something entirely new. Attached is my "Maryam" character, as a result of this. I used RareStone's Face Morphs Collection for Genesis 8 and 8.1 and Genesis 8 Female Head Morphs based on FWArt's "Dayana" figure. Her hair is Morgan Hair, her skin from JASA's "Flynn" figure and her eyes from Victoria 8.1.
Indeed ~ and she looks great! I roughly made a new one by using four character's head morph + Rs' Face Morphs Collection + some sculpting. Though it could be further refined, now it's already hard to tell which characters form the 'Base'. So that's the magic of Daz - controllable while having much more potentials...
Thanks, and lovely result from you also. I agree, that once you are mixing around so many different morphs, then it becomes hard to tell which was the "base" that was used, and I think it should be this way, because otherwise one's characters look derivative. I've seen this on other DA artist's pages. I try hard to make all my girls look different.
Thanks and me too. So let's keep refining them. Happy tweaking and rendering !
