Actually, in the last month or so Andrey Pestryakov (you know, the guy with all the natural environment sets) has released 2 different pose sets for G2M over on Rendo. One of them also supports Genesis 1.

I believe they were re-released from previous product originally sold here. It's been done before.

Invest in G8 figures, those Sickleyield clones and Zev pose converters and you'll have a huge library of cheap "old" content that works just fine with the latest technology.

Stonemason Rubble 2: Modern Ruins. It is used in soo many of my scenes in one way or another and I have a few different texture mods I have done for it, so it is very versatile for my needs.

This is one of those props that uses Instances, and I think they only put the pieces together in DS, and yes it does grind to a halt in DS. The base system advertises it uses 7 million poly base meshes.  When I bought it, like you I thought it would load as a scene, eg like Rock in the Forest by Andrey Pestryakov  but clue for me should have been in the huge list of components that just load willy nilly in Carrara.  I was going to try and save and export to Carrara, but it takes too long.  Still, I use them, but for modular rocks and components, I prefer ShaaraMuse's stuff on the other site.  MUCH cheaper and easy to use and mix and match the different products and components.

I have just purchased Andrey Pestryakov's Hockey Set for M4, and the texture add on ... but there is no Goalie equipment (Chest Protector, Gloves, Goalie Stick).  I bought a hockey mask by EvilInnocence.

I would like to get Goalie gear.

If you are getting screen lag due to scenes with a lot of trees etc, this is not going to be solved with more RAM. Assuming that Daz Studio could load the scene with the 16GB you do have, then the lag is likely to be caused by the CPU rather than memory access. There are some performance options you can play with that should help with lag issues as well. I had one of Andrey Pestryakov's nature sets bring my PC to a crawl when it was loaded, but after manipulating the settings it improved dramatically.

i'm wondering if the boulders that crown the spirelike rock formations in Andrey Pestryakov's cool new landscape "Low Tide" can be hidden--either in the scene tab, or via the surfaces tab. 

can someone who's picked up the product solve this little mystery?  thanks!

If your computer can handle it, I had reasonably good luck with Andrey Pestryakov's Forest, turning off the stream water and using the streambed as a road. But there are other forests and roads out there, and that one is old and 3DL in any case. It's also a large enough set that the program tends to lag whenever you try to move anything. But one can turn off, or delete all of the trees and whatever and just use the groundplane.

@Greybro  You're welcome.  No, it's Nature - Swamp by Andrey Pestryakov.  I think I actually forgot to convert that from 3Delight to Iray because it looked so good already I totally forgot.  I might have to see what it looks like converted to Iray.  I really need to see if I can do a better image with Creech.  This one isn't exactly how I wanted it.  He's a great character, though.  I'm just a little inept it seems.  :)

It was nice seeing the Summer Means Michael 4 & Victoria 4 BLOWOUTS sale today. So I added the GL#2 set and

as Andrey Pestryakov is part of the featured artist sale, was able to get the "Tropical Bundle" and "Forest Bundle for 7.19 each. I must say that there are lots of nice props included.

I did some checking and it seems AM's stuff is not working in the sale even though AM is a featured artist. If I add items from other Featured Artists (or at least the ones I checked) they worked.

Which ones did you add? I've tried with items from several other listed stores, none of them makes any difference.

OK, I thought you meant items from other stores triggered the discounts for AM. But you're right, discounts for AM doesn't seem to work whatever you do, for the other stores (or at least some) they do.
