Dear Daz Forum,

 

I have a question, is there a possible way to convert third party clothes that never were rigged or anything before into Daz3D? 

 

I have a model of a drysuit for scuba diving that I would love to fit onto my Genesis 8.1 Female but the problem is that, it was never intended to be used for Daz or anything.

 

I'll include a screenshot of how it currently looks.

I have since poached the keyboard off my Win7 rig because its so hard, not having the lit letters is frustrating though as I cannot type so rely on seeing the keys

Complaint: Well my morning went to the screwed up side. I had Daz Studio open, looking like a screen background when I opened DIM with the idea to download more old content. And started downloading, installing. Three hours later I closed DIM and faced Daz Studio staring at me. I didn't waste time banging my head. Closed Studio. Reopened DIM, ate lunch, and it was open. Sorted by Install Date, Recent First and uninstalled. Thankfully I had saved the zips. After all moved over to Ready to Install, sorted by A - Z and carefully to install. And search out the texture sets at that point. Finally done with this part. Still have to open Daz Studio and check metadata, add my extra layers and make sure all have thumbnails. There are days when you wonder if this hobby is fun or work. On the other hand, I had another deep look at some of my Runtime. Thank you Jack Tomalin for Parkside.

Thanks.  I wouldn't expect daz to get involved.  While many of the products are sold here, I didn't purchase them here so wouldn't expect they could do anything.  I'll have to see if I can track down sympatico.  Its been a fair bit of time lol.  Thanks for the help

A quick peek at Sympatico Studios has a year has past since any DeviantArt post but they posted yesterday on their FaceBook page so that might be the fastest way to reach them.

Thanks.  I wouldn't expect daz to get involved.  While many of the products are sold here, I didn't purchase them here so wouldn't expect they could do anything.  I'll have to see if I can track down sympatico.  Its been a fair bit of time lol.  Thanks for the help

THATS WHAT I THOUGHT. THANKS. BUMMER THAT THOUGH :)  Well I saved $1.49 yesterday and lost 3 freebies. I dont like to miss free items.  

If I remember correctly, last year I missed a gift of shaders and was devastated. At the end of the sale, all the gifts came back and I was able to get them. Keep a look out this year and maybe it will happen again?

And I have the habit of checking from top down, then check the forum for what others have highlighted and I might have missed. It happens. Then I look at my cart, how much credit (or cash in the bank) I have and apply tokens. And then I prune, some items go onto my wishlist for March or May sales. But I try to make sure I have checked out before noon here in Denver. I have done that forgot to check out thing and freaked myself out at 9pm or the next day. Not fun.

One thing I do if I find a vendor missing that I have bought from before is search on an older product and see who it is under now. It works if the vendor is still here of course.

I agree joanna, I also have items on my wishlist that I don't dislike, (especially after cleaning it up thanks to this forum), but I like some a little more than others.:)

I am having the same issue. Virtually nothing I have bought through the Outlet Store or Bi-weekly Freebies since July is showing up as purchased when I re-visit the pages or look in the shop list of items for sale. The items are in my list of downloads. I have followed one as I deliberately put it in my cart and there was no indication at any point that I had already bought it, and I was going to be able to buy it again with no indication at any time from the DAZ shop that it was a repeat purchase. I now search my product download list for every new potential purchase. This is irritating, time consuming and puts me off buying. Thank you DAZ. Regards, Richard.
