Some good possibilities there. And I already have some of the older ones, a benefit of 26 years of buying poser/daz toys.

Attempt at a Government Agent type character
Nice render: she looks the part.
Just a question, do women working for the government have to wear tie? (only example I have in mind are from TV shows, so, hu, not exactly the best source).
And if I may, I think I would go for a bit more contrast between the tie and the shirt (maybe a darker hue of blue like the one from her suit. A worse, I'm sure they are websites explaning what colors are best for a tie on top of a pale blue shirt) because it feel a bit too close.

She's perfect and expressions seem to work quite well on her too. And since I was playing around already, I made a quick render. The other not-exactly-new-anymore item (bought later November last year) is the Southern Gothic Dress which simulated nicely, but got some weird triangles in front.
Your render is great and I especially like the way the mist / smoke seems to be obeying Tiana's hands.
Regarding the problem you're speaking about: are you speaking about the triangle shape slightly visible in front of the pelvis area? It's likely a result of auto-follow and it's sadly a pretty common result with dress or skirt. An example with the dress used on MSO Lacey in my last render (I fixed the problem before doing the simulation, using Blender):

They are a couple of possible solutions to fix it:
A Daz-only solution is to use a 45 frames simulation because AFAIK, auto-follow is not activated during a simulation:
- frame 0: Genesis 9 in the base pose and base shape.
- frame 15: Genesis 9 in base pose and with Tiana's head and body dialed at 100%.
- frame 30: Genesis 9 in the final pose and with Tiana's head and body dialed at 100%.
The last 15 frames are to let the simulation stabilize (the same principle can be applied to use a dForce piece of clothing on a figure for which it was not made for, the setting is a just more complex). If there is a big difference in size between Genesis 9 Base and Tiana, you could maybe play with the scale at frame 0 to make Genesis 9 starts with a size closer to Tiana's size (don't forget to remove the scaling at frame 15 though), otherwise, the dress will be either a shorter or longer, which may or may not be a problem.
Otherwise, Sickleyield has a product to help solving the problem (I don't have it), maybe Fit Control has something too but I never checked.
Another solution is to create a CBS with an external modeler like Hexagon, Blender, Zbrush, etc, and fixing the problem among other while creating that CBS. A CBS can be created either on top of what auto-follow did where you're fixing the worse problems and accept the least perceptible ones. Or you can start from the base shape or from an officially supported shape close enough of your character shape: it'll provide better results but its harder and longer because you're have to adjust the piece of clothing everywhere and not just fix the shortcomings of auto-follow.
Matt_Castle spoke about creating templates in an exchange with Newguy while they were speaking about how long creating CBS could take but I have no idea how to create such template (I'm currently able to create CBS from the base shape of the piece of clothing with some clothes).
To get back to the dress on Lacey, here the result of creating the CBS from the base shape of the dress (dresses are usually something within the reach of my current Blender skill level
). With a dress, solving the triangle's shape is very easy when starting from the base shape: it's fixing everything else from the base shape that'll take a lot of time (I think I spent something like half an hour using the proportional editing tool in Blender to get everything close enough of Lacey's shape
but the result was worth the hassle, at least after I switch auto-follow to off for all the morphs from the Natural Bend product that were messing with the dress
).

I fussed with this one more than it looks like, partly because the setting itself made for a lot of lag. It kept me focused toward something productive, though, which was needed this past week-and-change.
The critter was old enough to be pre-Iray, but thanks to the Power of Shaders, it got a new (disgusting) lease on life. And some smoke clouds. Because why not?
I also hadn't used that particular outfit before, but it really suits Grace. I do have a complaint that the pants have no discernable pockets, but in low light and from the right angle it's not obvious.

Render your buys! ALL TIME ChallengesWork in progress. Will probably post additional and/or different camera angles in my gallery once I get them rendered, and likely do some sort of write-up in my Art Studio thread. First use of everything except Grace, her sword, and the wearable lights... possibly I got most of the stuff in the last month? Show Us Your Bryce Renders Part 14First render for 2026, Animal Juck on Terrain Strange Eggs 01 Tectonics Evolved Vol.2 by Orestes.
Orestes' Iray HD SkydomesI have many of these skydomes and they are beautiful but the resolution is not enough now-a-days so renderings have become very pixelated. Any way to fix this in PS or some other program?
Camera DistortionI don't know if this helps but, in photography, this is exactly what focal length does. If you have ever take a cellphone selfie, you might notice that you look a little odd with your nose a little bulbous and your face a little round due to the cell phone camera's short focal length. The default focal length in most Daz scenes seems to be about 50 to 65. Portrait cameras generally use a focal length of 100 to 300. You can adjust this by selecting the camera and in Parameters changing the focal length, and, then as Felis mentioned, moving the camera. Iray Planes will work best since your image lighting is assuming the wall is there but often you can just hide the obscuring wall. I recall a thread where someone was trying to use an Orestes HDRI but they couldn't get the planet to appear large in the sky. The answer was to change the focal length of the camera:
Creating Big City Scenes in DAZ StudioI was excited to see Stonemason's new suburb products in the store. They make it easy to create a scene showing a neighborhood with taller city buildings in the background.

Smoke and Mirrors
In his never-ending quest to save humanity from itself, Wizard Winston had transported himself to a place and time where powerful energy was harnessed in boxy containers and mirrors were not friendly. While attempting to cast a spell with his staff he noticed that there were many more of him. Confused and discouraged, he caught a ride with the one in the odd little boat, hoping to land in a better place and time.

UltraScenery - new(er) territory [Commercial]Gogger said:
I love this new release, Waterfall Builder by Lantios - it integrates wonderfully with UltraScenery! I posted a proof-of-concept over in that product's thread, but am focusing on incorporating waterfalls into UltraScenery now.
Still sort of just mucking about, but loving how well it blends in with various ecologies!
Here is the setup as seen from high above. I create two instances of UltraScenery and place one behind the other. The front has a stream or other waterway and the back one is left flat or something raised up a little. The back is to provide trees for behind the waterfall cliff. The waterfall scene (one of two presets included with Waterfall Builder) is placed at the back edge of the front USC and placed over the water feature. (hide the lake and lake bed. I also remove the 'wet' rocks from the base of the waterfall, as they are a little overdone IMHO). Ta Da! Something new for UltraScenery!!!
This is the Australian Ecology with Default USC sky.

And this is playing around with Aspens and and Orestes HDRI Sky.
Looks amazing, thanks posting your tips.
