Hahaa both were intentional. Its built with the same accoutrements an iron maiden has (spikes and chains) and i couldnt help but make the band pun in my descrip lol 

i call it my medieval scorpion chick lol i originally wanted to make nods to spawn, ghost rider, kratos and scorpion with the warheads, but i am skeered to get too close to ip.

I found out the hard way, after buying 260 credits, that the AI CANNOT make anything other than normal characters.  On the pictures for the product of course it shows that elf.  But in the documentation it says:
 Yellow plugin documentation.  In the Writing Prompts - & Best Practices section:

"Do not describe figures that have non-human anatomical features (e.g., mermaids, fairies, centaurs, cyclopes, mutilation, etc.)"

 

So essentially, it's only for making normal characters, like a human, which I find odd, since 99% of the character models are that already.  Anyway, I did not want others to buy it thinking their imaginations could run wild.  Just plain old vanilla type things.  For example for the monster girls I need for my erotic games it did not know what a wasp is, or a roach, ant, fly, scorpion, lizard, snake, cobra, manta ray, squid, octopus, crab, lobster... or any other monster women. Hope I help at least one person save an hour of their life.

To Daz my suggestion is make an AI called Red or something and you can upload pictures so it will just make 3D models of whatever art you upload.  But right now, with prompts, this thing does not have a clue what a wasp is, or a roach, ant, fly, scorpion, lizard, snake, cobra, manta ray, squid, octopus, crab, lobster... or any other monster women I need for my erotic horror games. lol

That works too. :) actually thinking of it, it fits a dark 'earth/stone' theme having a scorpion warlady look.

yeah, unfortunately not earthy. It isn't magicky either. It's more warmongery... something akin to a female scorpion lol but more medieval 

Good day all

I'm having trouble using the FilaToon Outline on the Scorpion figure in the Module Mech Squid product.  The Squid and Martian Walker both work fine, but the Scorpion has issues with it's claws and stinger.  After applying the FilaToon General shader to these components, there appears to be more geometry than I'd expect - and it takes two undo steps to restore as the attached screenshots show.

Not sure what might be done to work around the issue, besides avoid using the Scorpion figure.  I don't really need it, just exploring some ideas for now.

well intresting to have  ful or half or mixed beasts or animlal  moorghing , man or woman or young child terning from human to animal or beast of folklore or real animals  or anthorphic  or in form of  half bear and half dragon  or sharks tail with  lion claw with head of crow,  so have half  animal like bottom of crow ahd top half human,or  one par of an arm be like tiger  arm and rest human , so hole catalog to chooose ,in wat ever form you want or even dragon claw with tiger on same arm or hand or scorpion tail with that  of crockdile tail or even half of face like dragon and bear ever moghing to and form bear or dragon , so its like what will be ,a bear , dragon ............so could do as hole pagackage or  me  go throgh  all animals not done yet for gen 9  model me even so works with gen 8 and 8.1

All products have the standard daz License unless they are listed a having the Editorial License. They may also have Interactive and 3D Printing licenses as additional options.

Ok thanks, I was just confused because I thought for sure that some of those would be editorial only.

Browsing through them, I did see a couple with Editorial Licences:

That makes it even stranger. For example, Kitbashers 045 MMG3M has editorial licensing, but Kitbashers 034 MMG8M - a version with more recognizable details - has standard licensing.
Glancing through the first two pages, I see items that hew very close to 60s Batman, Jean Grey (X-Men), Imperial Guard (Star Wars), Red Robin, Nightwing, Daredevil, Shazam, Green Lantern, Shredder (TMNT), Deathstroke, Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, Wonder Woman, Scorpion (Spider-Man) - to name a few of the more recognizable examples. (There are more, but a complete list isn't necessary here.)
That's neither accusation nor speculation - just observation of visual similarities. I don't know their criteria for deciding license type, but Daz might need to hire someone knowledgeable in the history of comics if these items aren't being recognized as needing to be evaluated for potential editorial restrictions in the first place.

Thanks for all the help, seems I will have to use the old one in the waiting than either  Ken Gilliand or Groovy Patrol (I have their spider, it's awesome) shows interest in making a scorpion. :)

I would *love* for Groovy Patrol to create a giant scorpion in the style of Giant Monster Spider. The spider was an early "priority buy" for me after discovering Daz. It's still one of the coolest products in the store. :)

The old scorpion should work in DS, though the materials may need adjusting.

Hello, is there, somewhere out there, a normal scorpion (the animal, not some robot scorpion :) ) that is recent enough ? I would need normal scorpions and upscaled giant scorpions, but the only one I find seems to be very ancient, and for Poser (https://www.daz3d.com/scorpion ) 

 

hi one and all well it might sound , well lets get to things then , i just got my self first vr head set quest 3 good price 512 model  any way i whant new Environments 

so at moment i found matrix code one its cool but but i think could be better in some parts but i am trying to work out  how to make from scratch or inport  matrix code on to and into daz  

so has any one made matrix code with in daz yet ? if so how  ,if not     can some one   that would be better  than me  make   modulaer matrix   kit enviroments  so we could  make any  and all ideas be that of matrix also  main point is animation  of matric  code be that up and down and or back and forward  and even glitching  ........

 another one i downloaded into quest 3 was that of  stary night  sky ,nice its  just  flat 360  but  be nice if we can build 3d concept of   deatpth  so like moving painting 360

Hands down, hysterical!  What a really great concept for a sitcom!  The expressions are perfect and the smoking manbaby is so outrageously wrong it's right.   You've done Mrs. Chow as a baby before and I still find it wonderfully disturbing - it's becoming a motif  for you.  Top of my list for funniest so far.  Can't say enough about how much of a tickle this gave me to start my day!

Didn't know Scorpion folk order takeout just like everyone else.  Like where one of them seems as interested in the sandwich on the floor than bowling over the angel.  Fun!  I wouldn't want to be the delivery driver from the local deli tho.

Last Butterfly War

That's one very disciplined soldier.  Stand at attention, salute, and have to ignore the bird on your hat.   You know it's going to leave a 'deposit' on your dress uniform, but 'disipline before dry-cleaning!'   Poor butterflies though.  The birds want to eat them so hopefully the snake can have some nice feathery treats too.
