Advanced Features in the Daz to Unity Bridge

The Daz to Unity Bridge is specially designed to bring Daz Studio’s game-engine ready assets to Unity so you can create your animation, game, or other 3D project with functional and photo-realistic 3D content.

A few of the advanced (and cool!) features of the new Daz to Unity Bridge include:

1. Daz Studio Animations!
• This is the first bridge to fully support Animations you already have in Daz Studio, and transfers them into Unity with ease.
• The process is simple: First, bring your character into Unity.
• After your character has transferred, select ‘Animation’ when exporting out the 2nd time.
• Any animation you bring in from Daz Studio can be retargeted to any other Genesis 8 Character!

2. Unity Marketplace Animations
While Daz Studio Animations have excellent compatibility using the Daz to Unity Bridge, animations you find in the Unity Asset Store will also work for your character.

3. Materials
• The transfer of Materials has been implemented thoroughly in the Daz to Unity Bridge.
• Any changes to the materials in Daz Studio will be supported in the transfer Unity.
• PBR is fully supported, and all the maps will transfer with ease.
• Not only are the materials set up for you right away — there are also many different presets you can choose from for the base material. If desired, you can also make your own base materials which are compatible with the plugin.

4. Characters
For the first time, you can use multiple outfits and hair at once with a bridge. You can export out hairs and outfits separately to be used with a character imported into Unity!

5. Animals!
The Daz to Unity Bridge has enhanced compatibility with Daz Studio Animals, so you can bring functionally rigged 3D animals to your animations, games, and other 3D projects.t.
