Won't buy Victoria 7, don't like her, but Bethany made it into my wishlist at once. And for me, whishlist says, I will definitely buy her one day soon.

Love the new Bundle so far.

Find the Face a lot better than V7.

Well I had picked up V7 a short time ago, nearly returned it, but decided to keep it when I saw SickleYeild was cooking up a product to help fit G2 clothes to G3. I just rolled my eyes at Eva. And then this? HOLY FREAKING CRAP SHE LOOKS AWESOME!!! Seriously DAZ, you knocked this one out of the park... Now I have to do some budgeting to find out how much of this stuff I can afford right now. :P

  • How long dose the 'New' sale discount supposed to apply for, if PC members are excluded from that 35% discount? I have Bethany7pro and Von Erthal Hair in the cart, and I got nothing for a discount beyond basic PC.

Nice if you want a thick girl, but can't you get the same figure with the add-on morphs? Can anyone give some comparisions between Beth and any of the chubby morphs in the add-on packs? Thanks.

  • Pretty cool - DAZ are knocking stuff out of the park right now.

Not really. There is NO "UAbdomen Size" dial as of yet for G3F, and Mesh "Auto follow" is broken on G3F. The only G3F figures that cloths fit without grief is the daz originals, because clothing PAs are "kind of required" to at least make them work (by replacing the broken "Auto generated morphs", with JCM things).

I went to hell with myself on this release! LOL Bought the Pro bundle, Obsidian and the textures, the shoes and the jewelery. Oy LOL
     But Well Done DAZ!

Question for DAZ_Steve or anyone at DAZ: Are the texture packs included or not? They show on the slide show for the Pro bundle (and now they show as purchased) but they aren't listed on the product page and weren't in DIM to download. The individual product pages for the textures don't show as purchased either. In the meantime, they're all in my cart waiting. :)

Texture expansions are usually not included in starter or pro bundles

One would argue that about all the "figures" :) There are going to be subtle differences, but I think you certainly could get a similar shape mixing either the Pear, Heavy and voluptuous shapes from the morph kit. To get the extra weight in the arms I think I would have to use one of my legacy shapes for arm flab. I don't have Beth, but here is an example of the G3F base and the pear and heavy morphs at 30%. There is also that voluptuous morph, so a mix of those all might result in what someone wants.

    I did not know that...

M7 is a few months out.  You'll see more Genesis 3 females, and even some Genesis 2 males before he arrives.

Well knowing he's a few months out will cause me to slow my buying for the current generation down.  It's really too bad that there is no way to transfer skins over, this is a pitfall of this new generation for allot of folks.  There is a really cute character by SpiritFoxy over at a RDNA for G2 Females but won't buy it because there is no way to get that on to the G3 base.  sad KNOWING that the G3 Male is on his way.... I'll probably go back to buying mostly stuff to enhance Studio for a while after getting Beth!

Is there a thread on this? I don't seem to be having this issue. Or might not know what conditions are needed to trigger the problem.

It started out with me looking for something to put on under a skirt for a non-daz figure, and it just snowballed from there.

I like her, but to be honest a person that voluptuous would have some plumpness on her face as well.  Looks a bit mismatched.

She reminds be of one of those plus size models that are starting to come more into vougue, they also tend to have much thinner faces comparatively, (as well as being talk and ridiculously hourglassy) some people luck out.

thanks for the link. So it impacts non-daz figure shapes, but not necessarily non-daz clothes right? Cause When you first said it, that is what I tested, some of the morphs in the offical morph kit with some non-daz clothes, or legacy clothes and that didn't give me any problems. But I never invested in any non-daz shapes for G3F.

i do have some non-daz shapes in G3F, but not on this computer. will have to wait till I get home.

Okay, I'll wait on Beth, I only need that kind of figure in low doses. She is a nice size 12-14 though. Rather wait for Lillith 7.

Since I'm sticking with G2F for now*, I'm wondering if you can get the same figure on her somehow. (I've yet to really explore outside of prebuilt body morphs).

(*though that gangster outfit for G3F is making me question that descison)

LY Triny, is close. Perhaps with a bit of "Shape Shift Bundle" UAbdomen Size.

Morph kits are where it is at. Best bang for the buck usually because you can always use them for every project. Dial in what you need here and there instead of a full figure or complete head. Very powerful, super duper easy. Allows for unique figures and faces in as little or as much time as you like. And yes, you have countless options to do the same thing in G2F. For example the DAZ G2F morph kits give you pear and heavy morphs which are a good starting point. Also other vendors have shaping morph kits that also help in this area.

For example these two kits where what I used mosed for G2F

I suspect you could get the figure, the gangster outfit is more tricky. (I don't think I have a trilby)

I particularly like the volume of her arms. A lot of dial-in weight ends up with 'heavy girl with stick arms' or 'heavy girl with muscules.'

For adding weight to arms I have a morph for that(for g2 anyway..maybe it was g1). Makes them a bit chunky looking and hang a bit. Fans of my work were not a fan of the weight, so I no longer use it LOL.But yeah, lots of morphs don't add much there as it's not appealing. it's kinda like how they make "warrior" women with inadequate shoulders to hold a sword and shield with any regularity.

Lots of people want things somewhat realistic, but not too real :) Depending on the purpose of the piece I do think this unappealing trait is important to sell the believability of the character. So team Daz did a good job. And Beth's arms aren't too, thick, just thick enough to not be abnormally small.

OMG @ZarconDeeGrissom You have proven Trini was in fact an Elin! When I saw her on the store that is what she reminded me of. But after seeing her with a tail it proves it :)

Thats why I tried it myself! Have a morph for sagging the flesh under the chin too, since that is normally very taunt on most figures. Not convincing when the character is supposed to have a few extra pounds. I use in small amounts to soften them up a bit, but not too much.

Zevo is working on a shapeshift for genesis 3 which includes belly control too instead of doing a seperate one for that like g2, also be a breast one later the genesis 2 morphs zevo/draagonstorm did are great so looking forward to the g3 versions + more likely as well be doing a skin builder for g3 too  link to the shapeshift for genesis 3 thread - http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/59558/shape-shift-for-genesis-3-w-i-p-commercial#latest

  • oh btw bought Bethany Pro and after awhile blue banner popped on shop screen for showing love got a $5 coupon off daz origionals except new releases of course but if you bought her check and use it if you got it only lasts one day which can be a short day to use it

Very happy to see this figure. And I haven't gotten any pro bundles for G3F yet, she may be the first. Good work DAZ. Skin looks great too. :)
