KK, yah, it would be nice if DAZ had it's own group, but that's not what we're about here... here it's simply to link up and flatten the learning curve and improve our output quality if not quantity...

Great galleries! I couldn't comment in all of them; but I visited all the links posted so far.

    Here is mine http://virtualworld.deviantart.com/

Interesting. A similar thread was started on another forum, and the moderators almost immediately shut it down and deleted it.

WAIT: let me guess... no, nevermind, don't want to say anything bad about the EVIL EMPIRE!
...well DA has a built in safeguard. It is called a membership. For most who are simply browsing along and click on a link to someone's DA gallery, any works or collections tagged as having "adult" themes will not be viewable. One needs to be a registered member on the site (for which there is a minimum age) and currently signed in at the time.

The thing I find silly about D/A's filter is something like a fully restricted adult filter is only meant to hide some nude manga drawing. They will remove anything they find violates their rules for some but will leave it for others. The only way something gets done is if someone rats you out poor way of enforcing a policy IMO.. At leat Flickr's restricted filters mean what they say...

Cool! Nice idea! I have a whole crapload of renders to check out now! Now we just need to lure in more vendors and maybe some Daz officials so we can score some sneak peeks!

And in case you missed the OTHER thread, DAZ 3D's account is: http://daz-3d.deviantart.com/

Doesn't Daz have multiple or is there only one that's official? I thought I had seen others before.

If it's OK, I'd also like to add a link to a friend of mine who is very talented with DAZ Studio. We've worked together a few times (since she can paint and I can't). :)

Nice to see you have a page there too Kurt. Your art is always inspiring and impressive!

I've added some of you guys to my watch (those that had the goods that had work that immediately agreed with my tastes – yeah I’m shallow like that). Agreed, great thread idea. My dA is also linked in my sig.

Opps I thought it was in my sig, but it wasn't at the time of writing the above, so I'm going to go add it now. JimZombie on deviantART. See you all there :)

*Hops about massively expanding her watch list*

Certain types of renders are favorited/watched from my second DA account (Xyshurondor) so that non-porn-viewing DAZ customers who come to my page don't run into it.

    Greetings,
My renders aren't particularly up to the level of the accounts I've seen going by, but feel free to take a look at my deviantArt page.

I need to learn how to 'finish' (like staining, not just like completing) a work; everybody else's seems so much more together and cohesive. Amazing stuff, folks.

Llama badges are just tokens really. They do nothing, have no effect and are just there to be given out to whomever you want. I've probably collected dozens of them. If they were exchangeable for currency I'd probably have at least twenty pence and could buy myself a bag of sweeties.

I post more on my own blog, so my DA account gets neglected often.

I'm with you! I had a great friend on DA a while back, she was cencored to pieces for her blue elves showing a bit too much skin. Meanwhile there were pictures of sexual organs slammed in your face and with no tag at all because they were called 'artistic'. No, I don't mind so-called porn, what I do mind is the double morals of some of the admins there.

I just added a bunch of folks to my watch list, how fun.

I had a different DA identity before, but I'm switching myself over to a brand new one to match my website and my name here, so it looks like I joined today :)

Only a few pictures there so far, but I'm using the opportunity to kind of start fresh and put up some of my more recent things.

In the end they are just too lazy or do not have the adequate staff to enforce their policies. I have no problem with rules. I know for a fact that if someone posts explicit material here it will be dealt with accordingly. Difference being it will be done for everyone that violates the rule equally. That I can respect... I am fully aware that I create adult based size difference sci fi erotica stories, if you look at my stats it's actually serving me well..

That does not matter if you are not going to enforce your rules fairly it does not justify it IMO.. but that's just me. I have had my 3D mentor get banned while others have much worse material that goes untouched..The only reason I probably do not get banned is due to ppl always donating premium memberships...

I have called them on their BS and no one ever respond. They simply hide behind their rules...
