Dual Parenting Problem

I am a noob and spend more time learning than doing to move my project forward. I am making an exercise video and am trying to parent a curl bar to both hands. A one hand parent doesn't move the bar anywhere near properly. I don't see any work-around that works. Most of the tutorials I have dug up are for swords and guns with a one hand parent. This is an issue that will affect every exercise I make, so I need a fix before going through the tedium of hand/bar placement in every scene.

The weightroom and props are both Daz content, as are some exercise morphs, so assume that there is a fix for this. Thanks.
