Is there any way to make shaders work on Poser?

There's a bunch of shaders I'd like to use on Poser but it's always for Daz. i.e

http://www.daz3d.com/advanced-wood-shaders

Like, I want materials for woods and stuff but I can't find them anywhere but Daz...

I am using Poser Pro 2014

Most (but not all) shader packs contain detailed texture files, and these would be usable in Poser, or any other 3D program. Likewise for any bump, displacement, specular etc maps. That said, these shader packs often do quite special things to the basic materials, mixing in other maps, tiling and other effects that will probably only work in DS. By the way, the packs are not just Daz Studio specific, but often render specific as well, meaning that they will work in 3Delight, but not iRay, Reality etc.

So the bottom line is, only buy the pack if you think there are texture files in it that you can use.

Havos is correct. So you have to decide if you like making materials/shaders or not. if you do then you likely already know where to get tiling textures that have everything you need anyway...

However even though I don't render in DS, I do still use a lot of my old textures I got for using with 3D in other rendering solutions. Just depends on if you want one click solution, or assets you can use to make your own stuff out of.

I am familiar with loading maps into Poser, but what about reflections? Like how wood would just vaguely reflect and shine?

Poser can alter the reflection of any material, so you can make the wood reflective in the material room. The level of the reflection etc would be decided by you, but none of the settings for reflectivity etc is going to come from that shader pack. The right settings in the material room should get your renders looking similar to the promos of the shader pack, but you will have to do all the work unless you can find some poser shaders that create a similar look.

If you have DS loaded you could look at some of the settings of the shaders (look in the surfaces tab) in DS to give you a hint of what you will need to do in Poser to get the same look.

I've never had to load reflection maps before.
Would I need to find one somewhere?

You do not need a reflection map to make a floor reflective, as long as there is something else in the scene for it show reflected. Just click on the appropriate material, go to the material room and set reflection to ray trace and ensure the reflection value is not 0. Below is what I rendered of the SpyLab 3 from Poser's own content after setting the floor reflective.
