It is very good, she has been very kind when I wrote to her to ask something and the model is almost perfect.&nbsp;Not even the eyes had some distortion.</p>

But now I have just a little&nbsp;new problem.<br />
As you can see in the pic, the teeth are... deformed? They look like&nbsp;rounded and smaller and I don&#39;t know what I should to do to fix this problem...</p>

<p>Can someone help me?</p>

<p>Is there any way that anyone knows of where I can get a copy of goz that will work with daz studio 4.8? After the nightmare I had with daz studio 4.9 I still had 4.8 download on my external&nbsp;hard drive. I reinstalled but&nbsp;I cannot get a copy of goz to work for the life of me, I am beginning&nbsp;to think it might&nbsp;be&nbsp;the end of an era for me and time to call it quits with Daz studio. it&nbsp;seems&nbsp;to&nbsp;me that &nbsp;the higher the number 4.9 ect.&nbsp;the worse the problems get, I am thinking it might just be time to uninstall for good any help would be appreciated.&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I have a decent amount of content that came directly from daz, and a decent amount that has come from 3rd party stores.&nbsp; All of the stuff from daz shows up in smart content, and a good chunk of the 3rd party stuff does.&nbsp; But I am finding that there is a lot still that doesn&#39;t.&nbsp; I understand I can edit metadata for each of the products that do not show up in smart content, so that they will show.&nbsp; However, trying to go through every single item in the content pane and see if it is in the smart content pane is... just exhausting to think about.&nbsp; Is there a way to get the program to just give me a list of everything that *isn&#39;t* in the smart content pane?&nbsp; Like a list-everything-without-metadata function or something?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Now I&#39;m getting an error while trying to save a scene or render to a specific folder in Daz3d. I have the latest version and running window 10. I NEVER had this problem before. It just started today. I&#39;m really frustreated. It seems it will only let me save it the scenes I create now to the Daz folde MyDazLibrary. Why is this? Am I the only one having this problem? I reset the program to defaults as well. that didn;t work. I have an HP with intel 1.60 mghz and 1tb hard drive with 4 gigs of ram</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>When running a dForce simulation on a simple clothing item (designed for G3f on G3f), using the option to simulate using the Current frame and with Simulate from bones option switched off, the popup window for the simulation progress bar says Stabilizing Simulation.</p>

<p>Can anyone tell me what that means? Is it running the simulation or stabilizing it? Stabilizing seems such an odd word to use for the actual simulation. I could imagine a stabilization period prior to and at the end of the simulation, but the whole process seems to be called Stabilizing Simulation.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi,</p>

<p>it&#39;s been a while, but I recently fired up hexagon to build some simple facing brick tiles. It&#39;s basically some cube primitives scaled in x,y and z and offset with minor deviations in translation and rotation. I UV-mapped them also in Hex. I also checked the normals.</p>

<p>When I export those as OBJ und import them into Studio, I get strange shading display in the preview and two tiles also look significantly darker in the rendered image. Any idea what could cause this? I have attached screenshots from Hexagon and Studio...</p>

<p>Any help would be greatly appreciated!</p>

<p>This will be probably considered a duplicate question, but I have failed to understand the concept even reading similar questions.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Recently I had a missing files problem, that was successfully solved on the thread&nbsp;<a href="https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/207851/object-mapping-failed-solved#latest&amp;nbsp" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/207851/object-mapping-failed-solved#latest&amp;nbsp</a>;</p>

<p>I was intending to let in that way and only correct a product that I would aim to use. But I discovered that I also had some duplicate products, so I decided to be radical.</p>

<p>1. Uninstalled all products on DIM, except Daz Studio and PostgreSQL.</p>

<p>2. Inside Daz Studio&nbsp;I selected Content Library Pane-&gt;Content DB Maintenance-&gt;Reset Database.</p>

<p>3. Unistalled Daz and Postgre SQL on DIM.</p>

<p>4. On folder&nbsp;C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\cms I erased all files (saw that on another thread).</p>

<p>5. Reinstalled all products on DIM.</p>

<p>6. Back on Daz Studio, all products were missing. I infer that I should add them to the database (all directories consistent between DIM and Daz).</p>

<p>7.&nbsp;I selected Content Library Pane-&gt;Content DB Maintenance-&gt;Process Metadata Queue and Re-import Metadata...</p>

<p>After that I would say that about 75% of all my products were completely fine. They are show on Smart Content Pane, they are listed as installed an so.&nbsp;I attached an example &quot;DAZ_Normal_Product&quot;.</p>

<p>But the rest of them are still listed as pending to install. Some products don&#39;t have the option to install on right click but they have the icon to install, like the attached &quot;DAZ_Pending_Product_NoInstall&quot;.&nbsp;Despite this state the product can be used, for example, by loading a figure genesis 8, the body morphs are available on Shaping panel.</p>

<p>Others, have the option to be installed, atacched file &quot;DAZ_Pending_Product_Install&quot;. This product is not available on Smart Content Panel.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Why similar products came to so different states?</p>

<p>How can I have all my products uniformly installed?</p>

<p>If I click on Install for all, will&nbsp; I have duplicate products again?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I try to be understanding when new builds and things come out and things tend to have bugs and such but what really just kinda irks me is when theings have never really had a problem&nbsp; all of a sudden, suddenly do like. Like models that where just fine to locate are no longer&nbsp; in your smart content and you have to go find them in your&nbsp; regular content library. Plus some other issues I have had with some other older models&nbsp; I&#39;ve purchases from the get go. I&#39;ve been with DAZ&nbsp;for many years now but just getting into the more heavily now. All the time before that I tried to look into finding a fix for this seemed to be rather dauntinging but I am at the point that I need to fix this. So... Is there a way that I can get all my content back into the smart content tab so I do not have to go and search&nbsp; it out manually. THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE AS ALWAYS... Mickey&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I noticed there was a product (360 Rotating Turntable Animations) that permitted one to rotate an object (or character)- which is great, because one can capture animation around the object, or simply all sides of it, and add text.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;But I haven&#39;t located any product that helps one zoom in on the object/character or do a &#39;sweep-around&#39;, things like that.</p>

<p>Are there any?</p>

<p>If not, how are such effects achieved in DS?&nbsp; &nbsp; (I&#39;ve done it with the mouse, but it can be somewhat tedious and shaky.)&nbsp;</p>

<p>(I&#39;ve used the aniblocks to get different shots of characters- for example- running towards the camera; but I&#39;d like to accomplish some zooms and sweep-arounds.&nbsp; ...also...on the side...does anyone know of a control that operates better than a mouse dial, for zooming in and out&nbsp;(and moving left or right) -&nbsp;operations like that.&nbsp; &nbsp;It can take forever in DS, with an ordinary mouse.)</p>

<p>Zooming and creating<em> smooth</em> sweep-arounds would be nice, if there was a product that would help.&nbsp; (or some controls in DS itself, that helped. Information on the techniques would also be useful, escpecially if there is no product help.)&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Okay so I just got the new Daz to Maya plugin that&#39;s available in the store. That&#39;s pretty exciting to me because I have been using Maya for years and I find it much easier to put together scenes in that software for a variety of reasons, Daz Studio is just so slow and clunky in comparison IMO. Of course I love the amazing characters and props that are available in DS, hence why I want to use both programs in tandem.&nbsp;So anyway, the Daz to Maya plugin works very well and gets my scenes into Maya with just a few clicks -- Great! However, my characters lose their pose upon import. Yes, I know I can re-pose the figures once they&#39;re in Maya, but that means I can&#39;t make use of all the pose presets that I have available in Daz Studio. Not the end of the world but a little inconvenient. So does anyone know if there&#39;s a way to maintain those poses upon import into Maya? Thanks!!</p>

Sorry to have to post here but I opened a help ticket up last week and haven&#39;t received a response yet but really need to get this addressed for a project due on Wednesday. I am having a problem that I am aware others have had (content missing from the Smart Content Pane). However, all of the &quot;fixes&quot; I&#39;ve been unable to find online have not worked. Here&#39;s a summary of my situation:</p>

<p>1) Installed Daz 4.9 using Daz Install Manager (DIM) on Windows 8.1 Pro</p>

<p>2) Installed a large number of Daz products I own using DIM</p>

<p>3) Although SOME content shows up in DS, there are significant items missing including a couple Stonemason sets, the Genesis 3 female figure and numerous others.</p>

<p>4) The items that do not show up in DS also are shown without the &quot;checkmark&quot; indicating they are installed in DIM</p>

<p>5) I have tried re-importing Metadata, rebuilding the Content Database, verifying the install directory is the same in DIM and DS, reinstalling everything, etc. etc.</p>

<p>THIS IS MADDENING. I&#39;d happily call Daz but the phone number no longer gets you to a tech person. My help ticket was automatically acknowledged saying they would get back to me &quot;soon&quot;. I have a project due and cannot access several content items that are critical for completion.</p>

<p>If anyone can point me to a solution I would be most grateful.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;ve been using Genesis 3 male since it came out and this problem just started recently. I can&#39;t think of anything I&#39;ve installed lately that would effect G3M. I uninstalled Daz Studio, and installed 4.10. I also re-installed G3M and the morph packages. This is happening with both of my computers, (they share the libraries) and all of my G3M characters. There is no problem with G2 or G8 or G3F. Anyone ideas on what is causing this, and how to fix it?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;ve only ever worked with Iray, and need help understanding older shaders.</p>

<p>I own these pre-Iray shaders sets from Forbidden Whispers:</p>

<ul>
	<li><a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.daz3d.com/industrial-floors-daz-studio-shaders">IndustrialFloors</a></li>
	<li><a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.daz3d.com/woodland-floors-daz-studio-shaders">Woodland Floors</a></li>
	<li><a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.daz3d.com/urban-decay-daz-studio-shaders">Urban Decay</a></li>
</ul>

<p>When I apply these to surfaces -- whether the surface is set to Daz Studio Default or Iray Uber Base -- they look like a blank surface in Iray previews and renders. They show up as they should if I do a render with the 3DL engine.</p>

<p>The reason I&#39;m confused --</p>

<p>When a product comes with both Iray and 3DL materials, even if I accidentally apply the 3DL version I still see something in Iray previews and renders. But applying these older (presumably 3DL) shaders does nothing in Iray. What am I missing?<br />

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I am using my iMac (late 2013)&nbsp;with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780. &nbsp;I&#39;ve used it in the past with DAZ and it worked great.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I&#39;ve upgraded to macOS High Sierra and installed what I believe to be the latest CUDA driver: CUDA Driver Version 9.0.222, &nbsp;which seems to have been an update from 3 days ago. &nbsp;</p>

<p>It is not working. &nbsp;DAZ does not recognize the GPU. Anyone else have this problem?&nbsp;</p>

<p>Mac System Preference says that an update is Required.</p>

<p>So, is there no newer version yet? &nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello,&nbsp;<span>I have some problems when rendering scenes with Iray,</span></p>

<p>My GPU usage is stuck only at 45-55% while my CPU is at 100%, I&nbsp;searched on internet for a while but couldn&#39;t find a solution. I tried to render while only using the GPU but it still stuck at 55%.</p>

<p>I use Daz3D 4.10, and lastest geforce drivers. PC specs are: i7 4790k, 16GB ram, GTX 1070</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I rendered an image today, and after saving and opening for some postwork, I noticed it was a little smaller, and not as clear as what showed in the render panel.&nbsp; I restarted another render to grab the snapshot below to show the difference.&nbsp; The render was set to 1536x2048</p>

<p>Any thoughts?&nbsp; (there is no zoom on the ifranview image, as can be seen its 100%...I confirmed the size with paint.net)</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>i posted on the forum before but even after following the suggestions, i still have this weird upper arm thing. i had to reinstall my main drive (another issue) so i thought reinstalling daz and all my content (not fun) would kill this problem too but is back , i think its just confined to characters ive already saved. if you guys have any ideas please let me know, for i&#39;m going to be forced to use the female models and that where my interest lies (ha ha)</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>The instructions for using Measure Metrics tells me to find the Measure Metrics menu item on the Window&gt;Panes (Tabs) munu. But no such menu item appears there.</p>

<p>Now, that Window&gt;Panes (Tabs) menu is so long that it goes completely from the top of my screen to the bottom. This has me suspecting that the menu actually extends below my screen, and that the Measure Metrics item is off screen. Is this possible? And if so, how do I get all items on my menu to show on the screen? Can I somehow scroll down that menu to off screen items? The down arrow key just rolls off the bottom back to the top again.</p>

<p>Anyway, where is Measure Metrics?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Okay. I&#39;ve been doing more work, trying to create props and so on of my own, but something peculiar has happened in one of my projects. I&#39;d load a texture onto the item in question, but the texture wouldn&#39;t show up, at least not in the normal workspace. It&#39;ll show up when I render, but it won&#39;t show up otherwise.</p>

<p>It may seem a bit nit-picky of me, but that sort of thing does bug me. And I&#39;d like to know what&#39;s causing it.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Can someone please help me with 3delight rendering? In my renders, I&#39;m having randomly colored pixels appear - for example, in the attatched image, there is a giant streak of red around the character&#39;s eyes, and then random squares of bright colors on her clothing. I&#39;ve included a screenshot of my render settings.</p>

<p>I did a test with decimator</p>

<p>Scene number 1<br />
Resolution (polygons): 607.068<br />
Materials memory consumption 417.371 KIB (GPU)<br />
Two genesis 3<br />
clothes and environment with textures with 2048x2048.<br />
Photoreal (Fullhd), i only change in progressive rendering, max samples to 2000,&nbsp; max time(secs) to 20000 and rendering quality enable (off)<br />
this scene take 1 hour, it&#39;s ok for my computer!</p>

Materials memory consumption 255.195 KIB (GPU)<br />
One genesis 3<br />
clothes and environment with textures with 2048x2048.<br />
Photoreal (Fullhd), i only change in progressive rendering, max samples to 2000, max time(secs) to 20000 and rendering quality enable (off) same thing.<br />
this scene take 2 hours and a half sometimes 3, and sometimes sends the process to CPU, then render time takes&nbsp; 6 hours, probably something like that.</p>

<p>Is it a bug, or is it just something I don&#39;t understand? please someone explain to me... and hope you guys understand my english.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m not sure this is possible, but I&#39;m trying to make something glow in silver. (Fingernails, specifically).</p>

<p>So I applied a silver shader, then applied emissive and put a dark gray on the emission color... but the rendered glow is still white.</p>

<p>Looking into some color theory, metalic colors are the results of light hitting them, so I don&#39;t know if you can actually have a metalic producing light.</p>
