I cannot for the life of me find this morph anywhere on my G8F. Is it hiding? Is it included with the separate head morph package? Tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

so, now I am applying the SN brows to my models, but the default, original brows are still there. How can I remove those? They do not change with the overlaying SN brows when I change the shape or style of the SN brows. Im guessing that the underlying default brows with G8 figures need to go away? but how?

Hi, I wanted to try to pass a free morph from Genesis 3 Female to Genesis 2 Male, as I wanted to use it with a male version.
In the past I did the same with Genesis 2 Male and Female, like this:

I loaded Genesis 2 Male, and I exported the OBJ in low resolution.
I deleted it and loaded Genesis 2 Female.
I injected the Obj in Genesis 2 Female with Morph Loader Advanced.
I set the morph so Genesis 2 Female became bad, I set the morph, and I exported the result semre at low resolution as OBJ.
I loaded Genesis 2 Male and injected the morph.

Now, I tried to do the same with Genesis 3, but the morph loader gave me error, then I exported both Genesis 3 Female and Genesis 3 Male in obj, and I found that between the two there is a difference of 2 megs . In practice the Mesh are different.
Do you confirm this, or is it my mistake?
Thank you.

Daz Photoshop Bridge

I finally decided to try the Daz to PS bridge. It works as far as I can tell with just a few test's, however, after I close both Daz and PS, create a new Daz file and every time I merge a object into the scene ( hair, ect ) Daz creates a "3D Bridge Camera" every time... I change the color of hair - another camera.

Anybody know what's up with that? I have the latest edition of both Daz and the Plugin.

Edit: I discovered I have to disable the plugin ( un-check ) and re-start Daz and it takes care of that... But I would think that would not be needed unless I have

selected "initialized the bridge" in Daz. So , i'll deal with it, the plug-in seems a bit clunkly and old school - But perhaps I will find some need for it - I was basically just trying to find out if it worked at all. ( I have Photoshop CC2018 ) and it does work - clunky, but works.

Edit2:

For those interested here is a great link to some of the things you can do with this that are pretty cool when you actually try them - I sent a complete 3d scene to PS ( and it stays as 3D inside photoshop which has 3D capabilities ) https://www.versluis.com/2016/07/how-to-use-the-photoshop-3d-bridge-in-daz-studio/

Hi.

I'm attempting to save my GoZ morphs and running into a bit of a problem. At first I said okay, this is probably a common issue, so I searched the forums and google, watched a few excellent tutorials, some that I'd already seen, and some that filled in some blanks.

The Problem- morphs disappearing entirely upon opening a fresh scene, or restarting Daz. Morphs remain (sometimes) on a saved scene as temp data. Reload GoZ every time I want to use them.

Steps taken- Load base G8f in scene, change resolution to base, subdiv to 0. Zero all morphs hidden or otherwise. GoZ. Sculpt. GoZ back. Update existing > G8f. Create morph: change name, reverse deform= yes, create control property= no, make unique. Find newly added morph. Edit parameters, fix labeling, auto follow on, type = modifier/shape. Dial to 100 percent. In viewport in joint editor mode, right click, edit, adjust rigging to shape : Adjust end points, adjust center points, adjust orientation. Accept, adjust mean weights ... Rigging adjusted -> leave morph dial to 100 percent. ERC freeze, restore figure=yes apply control property = yes restore figure rigging= yes. Dial morph to zero. Save as->support asset - > morph asset. Find control property with same name, check it and and only it. Save.

Any idea why this is not "sticking" ? I thought I'd covered all the bases here.

I've tried searching for this, but it's proving difficult to find the right search terms.

My G8F characters have been looking somewhat off/distorted to my eye, and I've finally nailed down why - almost any G8F figure I load is also loading the Charlotte 8 morphs at the same time. "Almost any" here means the base model, Daz Originals, characters based on the Daz originals, PA G8F characters, and even the one G8F character I have from another store - the only G8F models that don't are my own saved character presets.

What's really stupid is that this is happening even after I've even tried uninstalling Charlotte 8 to reset whatever might be happening - she's not even supposed to be installed right now, but her shape is still loading onto nearly every G8F character.

Now I've spotted this, I could fix it manually every time I load a model, but I'd really like to not have to do that. What do I have to do to fix this properly?

I'm unable to load the main lights for this scene and I was hoping that someone would be able to help. I install everything through DIM and this one seemed to install correctly, but the main lights might be missing, or the path is incorrect? Everything else loads. I would give anything for basic documentation on this type of product! :)

Thank you.

Edward 8 so far has not yet to me proved compatible with previous Genesis generations clothes with using Autofit. The Autofit for Edward doesn't have shirt or pant options, so I used 'full body' for each garment. The jacket is a G2 product, the pants are a G3 product. I used a Genesis 8 pose with Edward 8. Pretty much across the G1, G2 and G3 products, most fit in the zero pose, but when I apply a pose to Edward 8, the clothing items warp away from the Edward figure most bizarrely. It is most noticeable with long sleeves and long pants. Simple question: Why?

I patiently struggled with the Youtube tut, which is slightly different thant the online pdf offered by Sickleyield's suggested technique, but the same problem arises with long sleeves and pants. They fit in zero, warp in poses. From the advertisement, I should not have to use an external method and script at all. It should just work. I am eager to use a handsome mature G8, and I looked forward to using at least some of my earlier content.

Let's say that I have a render that has been going on for several hours to a day now. It is rendering in a separate window, and as it's progressing, I notice a mistake in the picture.

If I were to cancel the render (and leave the window open), go into DAZ and correct the issue, and then resume the render, would that correction be immediately reflected in the render that had been going on? Would it cause some weird "ghost" image that combines both the error and corrected alterations? Or would it completely start over from the beginning of the rendering process?

hey guys, I use facegen to create morphs but they are obviously not perfect out of the box, so I tweak those morphs manually in daz with morph addons. I tried to save it as a morph asset, but the asset relies on the untweaked facegen dsf file and my morph addons. I just want to create a morph that everybody could use without those addons or the facegen dsf file, if you know what I mean. I want to create a clean library and if there is no way to save those morphs as standalone ones, it´s just a bit messy in my opinion. I haven´t found an option to save those tweaked morphs as a complete standalone morph. Is it possible to save those morphs as a new dsf file?

Hello!

Forgive me cause I'm enetirely new. Because of such I make it a point to clarify before buying anything. I'm looking at the Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Female. As it stands I'm only working with the base Gen 2 (have Gen 3 but not particularly excited atm) in Daz 4.8. If I'm understanding correctly, I can purchase this & using the Gen2, meld her into a V4 as I wish to use V4 stuff.

Hope I'm thinking correctly. V4 seems to be the one most things fit without hassle...

Thanx!
