      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;ve just started having this issue in Iray rendering all of a sudden. Attached is the log file. I don&#39;t know what could be causing this, the only thing I can think of is that windows very recently forced an update on my pc.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I&#39;m pretty irritated to the point where I just want to reinstall another version of windows, but I&#39;d like to see what other people can figure out before I resort to such drastic measures</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I haven&#39;t touch to Daz3d since september / october, i did the update from 4.9.x (don&#39;t remember the number) to the actual update.</p>

<p>But now whenever i launch Daz3d it crashes as soon as it opens. I searched what was causing the crashes. And what causing it is Daz3d who now uses 100% of my CPU and GPU, and the temperature increase quite quickly, in like 30sec i went from 34&deg;C to 70&deg;C (93,2&deg;F to 140&deg;F) just by launching Daz3d.</p>

<p>Prior to the update i had no problem at all when using Daz3D.</p>

<p>How can i solve this problem ? can i go back to the previous update (which was working fine) ?</p>

<p>Here is my computer settings:</p>

<p>i5 6600K 3.5GHZ</p>

<p>16 Gb RAM</p>

<p>GTX 1070 8gb</p>

<p>(Oh and obviously i don&#39;t have any problem of overheating with my computer other than daz3d)</p>

<p>Hope any of you can give me a hint on whats wrong, here is the deal: 3dl keeps crashing on me on all kinds of scenes, not always but lets say 6 out of 10 times or more.</p>

<p>I can&acute;t ssem to find a specific product or shader that could be the cause, at some point in the render the screen goes black and comes back with</p>

<p>a warning that my video driver kernel stoped working and had recovered, daz crashes with errors on both nvoglv64.dll and libneuray.dll.</p>

<p>My system:</p>

<p>Daz 4.10.0.107 win7 ultimate 64</p>

<p>AMD fx 8350</p>

<p>16gb ram</p>

<p>evga gtx 1060 sc 6gb</p>

<p>tried the latest driver (390.77) and the old (378.92) that I was using on my gtx750 that was really stable, but that didn&acute;t work.</p>

<p>I&acute;m guessing its some sort of driver problem, since it started when i got the 1060</p>

<p>Any help is appreciated (and sorry for my bad english)</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Okay, this is just driving me nuts. Short story is that I cannot load any environment product from Smart Content, or the Content tab. I&#39;ll attach the error but it basically says that the .duf file does not exist.</p>

<p>Longer story. I just setup a new computer. Installed DAZ, configured and download all my content. I&#39;m a maniac and have several thousand&nbsp;products. Yeah, I&nbsp;know. Okay, I&#39;m attaching my Content Management window as well. Every product I have download works fine, with the exception of the Environment products. That&#39;s what&#39;s bugging&nbsp;me. If I select the product from within DAZ I get the error. If I right-click and select to &#39;Browse to file location&#39; it opens a window and shows the files. They are there and DAZ knows it! If I close DAZ and go to the file location and click on a .duf file, DAZ will open and load the environment. But, such as in Terradome 3, I cannot add or modify any envirnment assets as I get the cannot find the file error.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It&#39;s only the Environment products giving the error. Not just Terradome, but Easy Environment produst as well as others. Figures, props, lighting, all work.</p>

<p>Any idea what I&#39;ve screwed up? I&#39;m totally lost on this.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I am using timeline for animation.</p>

<p>If I want to delete all the keyframe for the figure&#39;s leg for example, I can select the leg, and it only shows me the keyframes for the leg, and I can delete these to keep the leg constant.</p>

<p>However what if I&nbsp;want to delete all the keyframes for a subpart, like the mouth that is part of the head, or even just the mouth&#39;s smile. I can select the head, and then I see all the keyframes for everything to do with head, but is there a way to see the keyframes for just one property of the head/mouth or any other object. i.e. filter and delete the keyframes for just one property of an object, not the entire object.</p>

<p>(this would then let me for example change the mouth to a smile, and not have to update 100 keyframes in the animation that had set the mouth because they set the head)</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I use Daz3D mostly for animation. Currently I use only keyframes, and not animate. Mainly using stock poses and letting the timeline transition the figure between poses and tweeking them as required to make them look natural and make sure arms and legs don&#39;t pass through eachother.</p>

<p>I have tried using animate (lite that comes with Daz3D), and like the idea of being able to buy stock animations, but the blocks seem to be black boxes, and don&#39;t integrate with keyframes set from the timeline.</p>

<p>If I start with a preset pose, it just switches in one frame to the start pose of the aniblock, it does not transition like in timeline, it is difficlut to even put aniblocks together.</p>

<p>Is there are way to make it transition?</p>

<p>Do I need to buy the animate2 for this?</p>

<p>Is there a better way to do animation?</p>

<p>Also, in the Daz store there are only 150 animations you can buy, but 3000 poses. Is there anywhere to find more preset animations, either aniblocks, or pose set presets (and why don&#39;t they sell pose set presets in the Daz store (only static poses))?</p>

<p>this happens to me way too often.</p>

<p>i fit clothes on any Genesis model, and they look alright, so i save the scene for later use, after i close Daz3d and re-open it, i load the file, the clothes don&#39;t fit well at all.</p>

<p>i check the settings and everything is left the same, a temp solution was to bump up the collision and smoothing but that squishes lots of details.</p>

<p>please help!</p>

<p>I opened a support ticket already. I tried searching for a solution but have yet to find one. I see a few others have run into the same problem.</p>

<p>I am an avid user of DAZ3D and ZBrush to mostly work on fixing clothing, adding morphs. I had recently upgraded from ZBrush 4R7 to 4R8. Suddenly the GoZ plugin / bridge has stopped working? It was fine for a while since the upgrade. I have tried everything. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling DAZ, GOZ and ZBrush. I cleared the cache both in DAZ and ZBrush then I realigned the path in ZBrush to DAZ GOZ.</p>

<p>When I send to ZBrush using GOZ I get an error saying it cannot send to ZBrush please check installation. Everything is aligned and mapped correctly in both applications. I am at a loss here.</p>

<p>ZBrush Version 4R8<br />
DAZ3D 4.10.0123 Pro Version<br />
Windows 10 64 bit</p>

<p>Anyone else have this problem?</p>

I will set up my keyframes, pose everything needed and then&nbsp; I have to go through all the frames one at a time to make certain the lights did not randomly switch to &#39;specular only&#39; all by themselves. Then best part is when I check the frames one at a time and then a previously checked frame decides to switch without any permission from me and it is not discovered until 6 hours later when the render is finished.This is a gmae breaker. It seems like spot light and linear point of lights are the big problems.</p>

<p>Im following this character design tutorial and per its instructions im trying to take a posed+ textured character from DAZ and import it into 3ds Max. However its coming out with most of the figure not textured and the animation messed up.Ill link some photos to show what i mean:</p>

They do not change with the overlaying SN brows when I change the shape or style of the SN brows. Im guessing that the underlying default brows with G8 figures need to go away? but how?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi, I wanted to try to pass a free morph from Genesis 3 Female to Genesis 2 Male, as I wanted to use it with a male version.<br />
In the past I did the same with Genesis 2 Male and Female, like this:</p>

<p>I loaded Genesis 2 Male, and I exported the OBJ in low resolution.<br />
I deleted it and loaded Genesis 2 Female.<br />
I injected the Obj in Genesis 2 Female with Morph Loader Advanced.<br />
I set the morph so Genesis 2 Female became bad, I set the morph, and I exported the result semre at low resolution as OBJ.<br />
I loaded Genesis 2 Male and injected the morph.</p>

<p>Now, I tried to do the same with Genesis 3, but the morph loader gave me error, then I exported both Genesis 3 Female and Genesis 3 Male in obj, and I found that between the two there is a difference of 2 megs . In practice the Mesh are different.<br />
Do you confirm this, or is it my mistake?<br />

      <description><![CDATA[<p>When I load Bethany 7+genitalia and apply iray texture, the genitalia has a slightly different color.</p>

<p>I never noticed that before.</p>

<p>Any other character seems to work fine.</p>

<p>I have just formatted my pc and reinstalled everythig with DIM.</p>

<p>I also installed DAZ Studio on another computer using DazConnect, but I have the same problem.</p>

<p>Old saved scenes with Bethany 7 have this problem too.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Can someone help me?</p>

<p>PS1: If I cancel the genitalia, the body has an empty space.</p>

<p>PS2: In Surfaces-Genitalia-Geometry-UV Maps-UV Set, I have &quot;Default UVs&quot; without any other possibilities (I was expecting &quot;Bethany UV&quot;, or something like that).</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I finally decided to try the Daz to PS bridge. It works as far as I can tell with just a few test&#39;s, however, after I close both Daz and PS, create a new Daz file and every time I merge a object into the scene ( hair, ect ) Daz creates a &quot;3D Bridge Camera&quot;&nbsp; every time... I change the color of hair - another camera.</p>

<p>Anybody know what&#39;s up with that? I have the latest edition of both Daz and the Plugin.</p>

<p>Edit: I discovered I have to disable the plugin ( un-check ) and re-start Daz and it takes care of that... But I would think that would not be needed unless I have</p>

<p>selected &quot;initialized the&nbsp;bridge&quot;&nbsp; in Daz.&nbsp; So , i&#39;ll deal with it, the plug-in seems a bit clunkly and old school - But perhaps I will find some need for it - I was basically just trying to find out if it worked at all. ( I have Photoshop CC2018 ) and it does work - clunky, but works.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>So I&#39;ve got a handful of Poser packages which while they load the objects in Daz3d, they lack dials for modifications.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>Examples include a space ships guns, and doors without dials.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>Is there a way to create dials for these items? &nbsp;Is there a how to someone could link me to?</p>
