      <description><![CDATA[<p>Due to disk space issues on C:, I set the DAZ content path for all my content over to E:.&nbsp; I reinstalled all my content via Installer, and moved over all the Library folders - there are no C: paths still in content management.</p>

<p>Everything seems to work fine, except autofit.&nbsp; If I try to put a G2 outfit on a G8 character, or any similar issue, autofit only brings up &#39;Unsupported&#39; as the source.</p>

<p>I have all my content installed, so everything from M4/V4 to G8 is available.</p>

<p>I assume there&#39;s some odd inconsistency that I&#39;m running into - any bright ideas what I need to tweak?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>loaded in a blank genesis 8 male. applied lithe 100%. moved left and right shoulder bends to -35 and 35 respectively. You can see the problem in the attached screenshot.</p>

<p>Something is clearly wrong with the mesh around the armpit/shoulder/collar area. I have tried reinstalling the genesis 8 starter stuff. I have tried reinstalling DS entirely. I have gone through all the morphs and adjustments available to me.&nbsp;Nothing I have done has had any effect. Do I have to edit the mesh directly ? Is that even possible ? If I do have to, and it is possible how would i go about doing so. Please help.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I have a shader&nbsp;I made that blends 2 sets of textures together, using a lerp or a blend colors node to blend the 2 texture nodes together by a mask.</p>

<p>Everything works great except that I can&#39;t figure out how to blend the displacement maps together since the displacement and displace max get outputed from the node seperately.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>What is the best way blend the displacement maps together?</p>

They show up in daz studio, I click on them, they load, and then nothing. No morphs for creature creator are showing up in my V4 figures parameters. <p>I&#39;m getting a very strange issue with iRay and HDRI, as you can see below the hair are &quot;destroyed&quot; by the HDRI map where the light is more strong.</p>

<p>Is there a way to fix it?<br />
I thought to put a &quot;light catcher&quot; between the hair and the hdri but I hope there&#39;s a real solution...</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m trying to help Thomas with materials and he did significant progress with the Blender plugin. But now I feel somewhat stuck with translucency and sss and the interaction between them. I mean the gross job is there and it works fine enough. But I feel we can do better so any help from anyone interested is great.</p>

<p>In my tests with iray it seems that sss doesn&#39;t work when traslucency if off. So sss needs some degree of translucency to do something. While translucency works fine even with sss off.</p>

<p>Also mixing sss and translucency colors seems to be a very messy thing. In some degree translucency seems to take precedence. That is, sss colors only appears clearly when translucency colors are white.</p>

<p>In this case blender doesn&#39;t match because the iray volume transmitted color is not considered by the importer. But honestly I didn&#39;t find any way to correctly handle it together with translucency. May be we can multiply it with the subsurface color of the principled shader if and only if the translucency colors are white. But this doesn&#39;t make too much sense to me either.</p>

<p>As for the chromatic mode it seems to be not documented at all in the official manual. But in my tests it takes the lowest precedence. That is, the chromatic color only appears clearly when the translucency colors are white and the volume transmitted color is white too.</p>

<p>Also, the chromatic color is the negative of what&#39;s specified in the in the input field. That is, if I specify red it comes out cyan (green+blue). Since it is not documented I don&#39;t know if this is a bug or its intended behaviour. For sure it doesn&#39;t make much sense.</p>

<p>Now I feel to translate all of this to the principled shader is impossible. The principled shader is designed to be simple and it works best alone its own way.</p>

<p>I believe when we are in sss mono mode the setup suggested in the previous post works fine enough. It inputs the same color both in the base channel and in the subsurface channel. I guess that&#39;s how mono is meant to be used in iray anyway.</p>

<p>As for the chromatic mode I&#39;d give up with it. It is really messy. Then something will not match for sure but we always have time to improve things.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>the most important file for the mpcycl is missing and I dont know how to get it back without buying the whole thing.</p>

<p>when I look in products I can see the poser version and the daz legacy. I can also see it in content library but when I try to load it a triangle shows up and says file is missing. so what do i do?</p>

<p>I already tried to parts of starter essentials only environment but it did not help.</p>

<p>evrything else is here the scenes, lights only the mainpart is missing. I cant see a way to get mpcycl as standalone.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I have an image in which just under midway on an 8:5 ratio &#39;canvas&#39; is a horizontal railing which goes all the way across from right to left. The sun position is just right of centre, so the shadow just left of centre is what it would be in real life, but on the right hand side of the image the rail bars&#39; shadows all tilt to the left while left hand bars&#39; shadows all tilt to the right. There&#39;s a character approximately centre in the foreground so her shadow angles left as it should do, but in the middle left ground is a small building which has it&#39;s shadow angled right (the same directions as the left hand bars) and in the far right background is another building and it&#39;s shadow angles left. I have the same problems with other images, particularly those which are landscapes, but there&#39;s one in which the sun is dead centre and there are 4 characters evenly spaced across the &#39;canvas&#39;, so the shadows on the left 2 angle slightly right and vice versa on the other side when in real life all 4 would have their shadows going directly straight behind them. I assume the anomaly is caused because the virtual sun can never be the size of the actual sun and the same distance it is from Earth, but is it possible to fix this shadow problem in a render?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>It&#39;s been years i use DAZ. I note this soft is super good for customise and rendering the women realistic, providing that this women are &quot;normaly&quot;, not big, not bodybuilder.</p>

<p>If I want to go far, example: create a BBW; I feel that this software handles it badly, or lack of option.</p>

<p>Example, It&#39;s been months i search to create this body:&nbsp;</p>
