<p>Ive constructed a figure from morph dials that Im pretty happy with but I want to tweek the body shapes a bit, beyond what I can do with dialing existing morphs.</p>

<p>The question is can I make a morph in hexagon, made using my new figure as its base?</p>

<p>Ive tried, but as I apply the morph the figure reverts to G3 female base with defects (my morph?), and winds up looking nothing like what I am after.</p>

<p>So, can it be done?, or do you have to use G3 as a morph base in hexagon, which seems to be impossible to tweek to what I am after.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I have had a support ticket with DS for several months now and I&#39;m afraid that the person who has been handling this issue is simply too inexperienced to fix the problem. Several times they have had to consult with more senior staffers because they say&nbsp;they&#39;re new to support. I have sent them&nbsp;log files, .duf&nbsp;files, and described the issue over and over again but they keep&nbsp;asking for more information. I&#39;m very frustrated--I think &nbsp;they&#39;re stalling and I would like to get someone more senior to work on this. It shouldn&#39;t be an insoluble problem--if it is, then I am out the thousands of dollars I have spent on DS assets and my business is dead. Is there any way that anyone knows of to contact Daz and ask for a new support person? I don&#39;t want to get this person in hot water--they seem to be sincerely trying to help--but I don&#39;t think they understand the problem or the urgency of the situation.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello all!&nbsp;</p>

<p>I am currently developing a game in unity and was curious what is required to use a Daz&nbsp;character as the hero of a single player game. I fully understand that the model can not be redistributed and all the basics. The model I choose will be packed with the game and &nbsp;unextractable from the project.</p>

<p>My question would be, let&rsquo;s say I want to use Michael 8. Do I just need to purchase the pro bundle and then the interactive license for him?</p>

<p>I am also aware of morph3d, I am not interested in that particular product at all as I will model my own armor and attachments for the hero character due to the fact that I do not like any of the offerings for Morph3D.</p>

<p>Any insight in this matter would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello, when I open Daz I now start with a black background and a gray halo around the cube. When I bring in a figure, it sort of multiplies the graphic of the figure as I turn the cube. Its like one&nbsp;hundred different images all at once if that makes sense. When I add an enviroment, I don&#39;t see this issue. Whats wrong here?</p>

<p>Im pretty new to the software and this might be a noob question. But I couldn&#39;t find any sollution in the forums or in the internet in general. Problem is just as the title says, iray ignores my scene lights completely. And this is pretty worthless as you can imagine. So there must be a simple hit of a button somewhere to fix this.</p>

<p>And to confuse me even more, when rendered in interactive mode, the final image has all the lights that I setup. But Im missing out on a lot of detail that way.&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Is there a way to a UV map with the actual texture of the UV map?&nbsp; I want the grid on my texture map so I can take over to photoshop and know where I am actually painting. I&#39;m having such a hard time with textures.&nbsp; What is the easiest way to get a new texture on the character using Zbrush?&nbsp; All the tutorials haven&#39;t been helping at all.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>I remember back in the old Poser days I&#39;d use UV Mapper, a freeware program. Import an OBJ, then save that picture.&nbsp; It was that easy.&nbsp; Is there a way to do it now?&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>I&#39;d like to use Zbrush and take a wireframed texture into Photoshop.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Why is this so hard?&nbsp; I mean shouldn&#39;t it just be one simple click and boom like GoZ?&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>I have a morphed girl that&#39;s lying on her bed and I simulated a DForce cloth on her back.<br />
Now, I want to apply the Trasfer Utility to make a conforming cloth that can follow the movements of the girl&#39;s back.<br />
I can&#39;t use DForce to do that since the cloth will slip from her shoulders and adding a &quot;pin&quot; to the cloth gives a bad effect on the cloth&#39;s wrinkles.<br />
I know it&#39;s used normally on unmorphed models, but I want to keeps the shape the cloth obtained witj the simulations and fit on the girl&#39;s back as it is now. There&#39;s a way to conform the cloth on that girl?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m working on Windows 10, Daz V 4.10.x</p>

<p>I am venturing off to techniques I&#39;ve need to use in Daz before.&nbsp; I created and saved a new pose. As expected when rotating the pose it uses the oritional piviot point which is, from side view, in the center and bottom of the foot. This makes positioning the posed character awkward.&nbsp; I learned how to move the piviot point to the new position&nbsp;manually using the joint editor but would really like to create a script to do the job for me.&nbsp; Actually I&#39;d really love to create a script to do it as the pose is selected (I know, asking a lot).&nbsp; I&#39;m sure the first option is doable but I haven&#39;t written daze scripts before (I know I can pick that part up pretty quickly).&nbsp; I guess what I really need to know is how to identify the origin and destination location, i.e., how to you define those points so they can be referenced in a script?&nbsp;</p>

<p>Any help offered would greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>&nbsp;I&#39;m having problems rendering an animation.</p>

<p>It doesn&#39;t seem to get past the first render.</p>

<p>I&#39;m still running 4.10 so it&#39;s not the new beta version.</p>

<p>The last few posts seem to be possibly having similar issues.</p>

<p>I&#39;m sure I have enough memory,it keeps crashing or frozen on one frame.</p>

<p>Doesn&#39;t appear to be running hotter than normal either..temp looks ok</p>

<p>Ive updated Nividia drive and no change and no new Windows update I&#39;m aware of.</p>

<p>Is this a bug and how do I fix it short of wiping it clean which I&#39;m sacred of.</p>

I have reinstralled DAZ 3d and relocated all my content folders. So I uninstalled everything and started installing&nbsp;from scratch. Now when installing certain products, the thumb nail in the Smart Content tab is broken. The product works just fine, except the tumb. I installed with Install Manager, and I have tried to uninstall and reinstall. The image shows the product &quot;FW Tobias HD for Genesis 3 Male&quot;. Any idea how to fix this? From where are the Studio trying to read the thumbs, and what are they supposed to be called?</p>

<p>I&#39;ve imported a U-boat figure from PoserPro 11 with parented props (Cage, Gun and periscopes).</p>

<p>Unfortunatly one of the props is black (Cage), the textures are all in the same location and settings for the props are all the same.</p>

<p>Despite this one of them is not working, If all the props failed in the same manner I wouldnt be as confused.</p>

<p>As the settings &amp; related files are the same the props should all fail or work the same way?</p>

<p>The models render okay in Poser.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;ve been working on a 10-year-old model that I made as practice to create hair. After going over a few tutorials to refresh my memory, I quickly relearned how to adjust the joint parameters and refresh my memory. However, when I started bending different joints to check how far the bending effects were, I found a weird effect on the left and right ones. They are bent exactly the same but&nbsp;they go opposite&nbsp;directions. This is something I will have to learn how to fix if I want the left and right bangs, or ponytails to bend together. How can I get the left and right to bend together?</p>

<p>Also,&nbsp;I want to update it to groups instead of segments but I don&#39;t know how to transfer the joints from this version of an updated version. I would hate to have to redo the whole thing, so much that I would rather use this version. A lot of hard work went into this before Daz ate all my files 10 years ago so any time saving I can find would be perfect.</p>

<p>is it possible to convert g8 models (specifically female) into g3? when i comissioned someone for a cloth, she asked if i wanted it for g3 or 8. (chose 3 obviously).</p>

<p>which made me think, can that be done? i have a ton of stuff for g3 and when i try a g3 cloth on a g8, it doesnt autofit that well. some of the very few g8 models i have would be wonderful to have in g3.</p>

<p>it can be through a third party program (like blender). i just want to know if it CAN be done.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hey,</p>

<p>I used the Bronwyn Hair for Genesis 8 Female on my Genesis 8 Male character. When the auto-fitter asked me about the type of asset, I said &quot;Hair - Shoulder length&quot;. It worked fine but the hair is distorted just above the shoulders and it doesn&#39;t move properly. When I try to use some of the preset morphs they don&#39;t work in the scene. The hair doesn&#39;t change as it usually would be seems &quot;stuck&quot; to the shoulders. Is that a common issue when using G8F assets on G8M?<br />
Edit: I tried all of them now and some of the morphs work, but all morphs which would affect the front of the hair (like &quot;Right front bend&quot;) don&#39;t.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi, I am having a problum with my daz transfer utility freezing up at 22%. Up until a day ago everything was working perfectly find. but just this morning it started doing this freezing up issue. Was there a bug fix that came out or something because It was working perfect until today. Maybe I need to update my graphics card or something for it to work again?</p>

<p>Will they be recognized and work&nbsp;with 4.10?</p>

<p>I ask becausde I noticed that everything for sale on DAZ is now only compatible with 4.10, so I don&#39;t buy anything at all.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Since installing DAZ Studio 4.11 (64bit BETA), I can&#39;t get dForce to work. I just get an error message saying that it can&#39;t find an Open CL 1.2 device. I&#39;m using two GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GPUs; I would have thought they would be up to date enough for DS.</p>

<p>Has any one else come across this error? Does any one know how to fix it?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I think this is a very basic question, but my situation is a little weird. In the past, I usually only ever began a render with the &quot;viewport&quot; displayed. Whatever&nbsp;was selected there is what was used to render, perspective, top, camera, etc. Last night I was using the latest beta and began a render with both the viewport and aux displayed. When I came back later I discovered that it had rendered with the aux camera not the viewport camera.</p>

<p>So I have two questions really.</p>

<p>1. How do I know which camera will be used if both viewport and aux is displayed?</p>

<p>2. Is this a beta issue or has this always worked this way?</p>
