Also, I thought (I must have misread) it came with a pair of shoes...it doesn't, d'Oh!  I've been trying to (unsuccessfully) fit Victoria 4 pumps on my Genesis 8 female figure...rather unsuccessfully. I'm faking it using the Bardot sandals which I've colored black using a shader (looks like a pair of strapless heels!).  Wrapping the blouse and blazer around my character's rather "disproportionately large bosom" has been a head scratcher too - I get full coverage by cranking the "voluptuous" slider all the way up, but then the bottom part becomes too baggy...agreed, that will be a non issue once I've fgured out how to tuck the blouse/bodysuit, it shouldn't be visible at that point...

Oh yeah, I did try to fix it by reducing the breasts size from an E cup to a D cup, but I'm having the same problems...

If you could point me to the appropriate setting(s) it would be much appreciated!  And if there's a pair of pumps for Genesis 8 females I could get for cheap, it would also nbe much appreciated!

Last time I purchased was back on Nov. 14 and I haven't changed any of my settings.

The denoiser will not kick in for me. I used it on my older machine. It is enabled and I have a NVIDIA Gforce RTX 2060 with 6 gigs of memory.

I know the denoiser will not kick in if cpu is used but even with a simple scene it does not kick in. A scene that that the denoiser worked fine on my older machine which had a NVIDIA gt 720 2 gigs of memory.

The card is checked in the render setting advance tab. I am stumped. Any help would be appreciated.

But, I searching the way to reset all the content.

I downloaded some examples out of Daz 3d page and now I wanna only use the content of daz marketplace.

The Hair, morphs, and cloth of the example mixed whit my content.

There´s a way to reset all? :P 

I wonder if there is some way to render the foreground figure(s) to one image, and the environment to another? This to make it easier to make smaller composition adjustments afterwards in GIMP/Photoshop without having to do a new render. 

In particular, I can't hide the environment and render the figure by itself, because then I don't get the shaodws/lights from the environment on my figure. I'd like everything to cast shadows on everything else, but that those shadows go to different images. In the case of ony one foreground figure, something like:

Image 1: Figure and the shadows cast by the figure on the environment. Figure has light and shadows from the environment on it. The rest is transparent.

Image 2: Background environment and the shadows/lights from it. Shadows cast from figures not included.

Image 2 I could easily do by just removing the figure and rendering the environment, but how to do image 1? Is it even possible? (I'm using Iray.)

Other than loading and saving scenes, another big "dead/lost time" in my daily Daz Studio experience, is zeroing the pose of my figures.

Is there any full-body pose for G8 that would reset every bone (also for expressions) with just one click?
That way, I would create a shortcut for it and save a lot of time.

 Any advice on this front? (Curious that batch rendering isn't built into Daz - any particular memory or resource constraints to be aware of?) 

I especially wanted the values to be in Megabyte and Gigabyte. So I did some test renders with G8 and a hair in a simple no lights, dome only scene.

Results are below and they are as I expected them to be.

But there is one question:

I did use:

- no hdr panorama

- the Daz default one

- a super highres one

but the ressources consumption did not change.

Any idea about that?

When I submit tickets to the helpdesk it takes a long time to explain this issue and it doesn't get solved. What else can I do to be able to use these products, without filing continuous and ineffective support tickets?

 Because I like to make poses I encounter more improperly created  stuff than most people because it shows up when  I save poses.

My latest issue is with Orc Brute For Genesis 8 Male. 

I discovered as I went to test my G8m poses on my test machine that G8M was asking for it to be installed, even though, I was only using G8M on each of my poses.  This product has been out for a while and remains unfixed. There have been 6 products lately with similar issues, so something isn't getting properly tested. 

I would like to use the products I buy, so fixing them is important, however the store isn't fixing them, so I am stuck. What else can be done?

I have installed Daz studio 4.12 (64bit)

I saw that the installation content for the models was (C:\Users\'username'\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library). I copy the path to a .txt file to not forget it. :P

I create the folder 'My Library' as in the Studio folder there is only 'My Daz Connect Library' folder

I extract the Genesis8FemaleStarterEssentials, and it creates the subfolder Content with files Manifest and Suplements.

I run Daz3D and try to import the model from Content Library.

It creates a figure made of grey boxes and a warning that says. 'The following files could not be found':

The thing is that I checked and the files are there, ALL of them, precisely in the locations that DAZ says that it can't find them.

I understand that the program does not find the files, despite me being carefull and specific with the path. Do I need to check somewhere in the app for the correct path?

1) Is there some trick to using hair with Toon Girl?

2) Are there some hairs that work better with Toon Girl? I notice that nearly all the promo images of her use the same hair (Sloane), which uses the Girl in its promos, so is that one optimized for toony shapes? I don't have other female toons, so maybe this is just a known issue that I hadn't encountered before.

My hard drive crashed and I'm rebuilding everything on a new hard drive. I reinstalled Daz 4.12. Everytime I start the program I get this notice. How do I fix it?

The invisible items were released on November 23rd and 25th, I think.

I am trying to access them from my 3 Windows 10 PC, but these PC cannot show their products.

I have used some Web Browser(Edge, Chrome, FireFox), but these were same result.

How can I avoid this problem?

This used to work just a few days ago - but I have been playing with settings, and now something is broken.

Animation works fine in DS, baked to studio keyframes:

If that's not feasible, I'd love to find a relatively baggy, non-childish hoodie for G2F. So far I haven't found one.

What is happening is that using something like Fit Control for G8F crashes DAZ, hard. I've tried pinpointing what causes it, but the error message is of course completely useless (ACCESS_VIOLATION, QtScript4.dll). I've narrowed it down to specific assets that is causing it to crumble, but I've no idea WHY they cause it to crumble. There has to be a multitude of different assets causing this, because others, who have one of the assets I've found to be problematic, does not have an issue with using Fit Control with that same asset installed - which means it's not necessarily the particular asset, but some combination of assets that is causing DAZ to hard crash.

DAZStudio.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module "C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\QtScript4.dll" at 0033:000000003000E1BC, QScriptEngine::signalHandlerException()+18380 byte(s)

That's the error message from the crash handler. I've of course tried pushing this to DAZ, without much useful information or suggestions.
For testing these issues, I've basically loaded up DAZ, added a G8F base figure, and applied a single piece of clothing - then applied Fit Control. When I don't have the offending assets installed, it works fine, no issues. When any of the offending assets are installed, DAZ hard crashes, with the above error (the error doesn't change).

I've also removed any settings on my machine that I could think of, set it back to default (no overclock), made sure cooling and everything else is up to scratch, checked for acccess violations (multiple programs using the QtScript4.dll-file), without finding anything
 

The weird part is that using a G8M, it works fine. G8F does not. So something, somewhere is causing an issue... and I have no idea what. As normal, my log-file is chock-full of notices and warnings. Not sure if any of them play a part.

So, anyone have an inkling of an idea what can be causing this? Whom I might ask to maybe update their assets (would it be FC or the other causing the issue?)

I'm also fairly certain this wasn't an issue on 4.11 - unfortunately, I don't have it installed at the moment, so I can't really check, although I guess I can find it again and see if it causes issues.

Unfortunately, today, unpon copying "Room creator 2" :https://www.daz3d.com/room-creator-version-2 , I notice that in two subfolders, "preset materials" and "preset poses", only the first file of each folder (out of dozens of files) has been copied. I tried again several times, and the result is the same : almost all files are missing. 

When I copy, I verify that the folders have been correctly created in "categories" but not that the content of the folders has been entirely copied. I noticed it this time by accident. So, for all I know, I could be missing tons of files for many products in my painfully created folders by category.

Any idea of why this happened? And if it's common? Should I give up my idea of organizing all my content by category?

It's strange because pushinng render Problems.

Doing Iray preview? No problems.

CPU Render.

The first screenshot shows when Daz froze, I was monitoring the memory via “task manager > performance” and a “wise memory program”, and did see memory go right up to 95% before it froze, then % dropped to what you see.

I did a google search and did find threads on this forum from 2017/2018, however, these threads are old but did confirm my conclusion that memory was running out and why Daz was freezing or crashing.

Am certain if I can just figure out how to get past the “Rendering” stage and past “Loading/Processing scene”, then good to go with large scenes. I did plan to upgrade to 32GB memory at some point and could do that at end of year maybe, but am hoping people here might have some tips on rendering large scenes that can help.

As I said, I can cut down on assets, I have them saved as scene subsects so I can load what I need, I could split trees, roads, grass, street lamps up into subsects, and maybe even split houses up into more súbsects, is some furniture in them (baths/showers etc).

I am able to load the full scene am trying to render as well, as I deliberately tested to see if there were issues with loading scene as well.

I am using dome and scene with Orestes Iray HDRI Skydomes – Harvest Moon but did crash with sun-sky only as well.

Sorry for the long read but more information the better I figure. 

My problem is that when using Skydomes and HDRIs in Iray the shadows on a figure seem far too harsh in contrast to each other. The "lit" side will be very bright, but the side of the figure that's in shadow is very dark. I thought using the Atmocam2 might make a difference by making the light a little more diffuse (and I think it does a little) but is there another way I'm missing? 

Alternatively I know there are ghost lights but I'd like to avoid those if I can.
