      <description><![CDATA[<p>I have Easy Enviroment, the winter lake</p>

<p>It worked until yesterday.</p>

<p>Than i made an image.. and before rendering i had to go so i saved the scene.</p>

<p>When i later opened it..everything loaded but not the easy enviroment ...</p>

<p>So i deleted that from the scene and wanted to put it back in .. but since than i get the message</p>

<p>error occured while reading the file, see the log file for more details</p>

<p>I un installed it.. and used IM again..</p>

<p>I tried to instal in DAZ 4.12 itself (64 bit)... but it will not load any more</p>

<p>What to do</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi, hope somebody has the answer to this one or can understand the question the way I am phrasing it, any help deeply appreciated.</p>

<p>My g8f base figure now has extra &quot;eyes closed&quot; pose on it, permanently (see attached image at full size, note dial value.) Her eyes are perfectly closed now at a value of .80 rather than 1.0. I think I accidentally &quot;memorized&quot; the base figure with a little of this pose in it. Trouble is reinstalling the figure does not fix it. I am thinking if you memorize a figure it must put the information somewhere that is not overwritten when you reinstall. Can anybody tell me where that information is stored so I can go fix it?</p>

<p>I don&#39;t want to have to reinstall the whole program and I am not even sure it wouldn&#39;t have the same issue reinstalling the figure did, if that custom information is stored someplace else I expect it will helpfully migrate it with my other settings.</p>

<p>PS. I can&#39;t just dial the pose back and re memorize because it won&#39;t allow minus values even with limits off.</p>

<p>I really wish that future versions of DS would have a warning come up when you accidentally hit &quot;memorize&quot; (it&#39;s right next to something useful so I hit it from time to time without meaning to) that says &quot;warning, do you really want to fuggle your figure forever?&quot; or some such ;-). I have seen other people have this problem and have not seen an answer yet.</p>

<p>Recently, it&#39;s happening to me a lot to get a completely black render, after a few seconds of rendering.<br />
If I start it again right away, it falls back to the CPU.</p>

<p>Sometimes, if I move the render window preview, some parts end up being darker.</p>

<p>I don&#39;t recall it happening in the previous Daz builds, but now I get this either in the stable one and in the public build.</p>

<p>Any solution on the horizon?</p>

<p>I built a new G3F character and intend to sell her. I built the head and body morph slide controllers and they work fine. I made the character controller slider that controls both the head and body morphs which seems to work fine.</p>

<p>Then, I create a character preset of the character when the head, body and character sliders are set to 100%.</p>

<p>When I clear the scene and use the character preset to load her in, I get the base G3F character loaded but the sliders are all at 0% and I have to slide them over to 100% get the character to morph into shape. I &#39;fixed&#39; this behavior by sliding the main head+body slider down to 0% but kept the separate head and body slider set at 100%. When I save the resulting character in a character preset, I can load the expected character to the scene in its new shape but I lose the main head+body controller slider functionality until I slide the separate head and body sliders down to 0% and then I can use the full Head+Body main slider to affect the separate head and body shapes as expected.</p>

<p>Other characters I have purchased don&#39;t seem to have this behavior. Can someone point me in the right direction to fix this please? This is my first character I&#39;ve ever made from scratch and don&#39;t quite know what I&#39;m doing yet....</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>ok i was trying to avoid this post but it&#39;s really getting annoying, whenever i try to &quot;autofit some &quot;old hairs&quot; like genesis or vic/mic 4 or genesis 2 hair to my genesis 8 character, (specially if him/her already have stuffs loaded like material or outifits) the daz crash, the only way to avoid it is &quot;autofit the hair before add anything to the character, like i must load a character then add the hair, then start to add others stuffs, if i do the opposite then daz have like 99% chance of crash, this happened after i updated my daz 4.10 to 4.12, before that i never had any trouble but after update my daz to the new one, it&#39;s happening a lot, almost every time and i&#39;m really getting tired of it.</p>

I have loaded a couple 3rd party purchases from another site in the past and use the search known folders selection and it populates the library. recently however my program crashes when i click the search ubtton in the content library options. I have wiped the entire program from my PC, then i have gone as far as completing a windows recover to factory and reinstalled DAZ. It still seems to crash though every time i still click &quot;scan known directories for files&quot;</p>

<p>When his thighs touch during the kick, his shorts keep sticking to the opposite leg.</p>

<p>I turned friction all the way down, but I am still getting some &quot;stick&quot; to the other leg for a few frames.</p>

<p>How else can I keep dForce from sticking his shorts to his other leg?</p>

<p>When I import a figure morph via morph loader pro all goes well until I try to fit clothing to the morphed figure.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The clothing fits to the old shape as if there were no morph applied at all.&nbsp; So every piece of clothing has to go back to mudbox, be fixed then itself loaded via morph loader pro.</p>

<p>Is there a way to get &#39;fit to&#39; clothing to recognize the figure morphs?</p>

<p>Should the morph be something other than modifier/shape?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi, I&#39;ve perused a little bit of the existing threads about this question. I&#39;m not sure if they&#39;re the exact same as what I&#39;m asking - the closest thing I found was <a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/304951/settings-favourites-or-frequently-used-shaping-sliders">this thread</a>. Basically, I&#39;ve got a number of shape morphs (including the basic G3F body morphs) that I always tinker with whenever I create a new character. What I do usually is I browse through the (large) list of morphs I have to find the ones I need, but I wondered whether there was an easier way to find them.&nbsp;I realized today that there was actually a &#39;favorites&#39; button for morphs, though from what I read, these favorites are lost when you reload the scene, or for a new character. Apparently, people in the various threads recommend making a Character Preset, which I&#39;ve tried, but it&#39;s not working for me. I&#39;d like to know what I&#39;m doing wrong. Just to confirm, this is how I&#39;ve been doing it, I don&#39;t know if I&#39;m missing anything:</p>

<p>-Add a G3F character to the scene;<br />
-Go through the body morphs and favorite the ones I want in the &quot;shaping&quot; tab;<br />
-&quot;Save as/Character Preset&quot; (with the figure selected);<br />
-Keep &quot;shape settings&quot; and &quot;material settings&quot; checked, and save in a backup folder;<br />
-Move the new .duf file (and .duf.png) to my Daz Library, under Presets/Characters;<br />
-And then open the character preset in a new scene. Favorites don&#39;t appear.</p>

<p>I&#39;ve also tried saving under Presets/Shaping, merging with an existing character instead of loading as a new one, and I&#39;ve tried saving as a &quot;Shaping Preset&quot; (without touching any of the default options). No dice. Only thing I haven&#39;t tried for now is the &quot;Save as/Support Asset/Morph Asset&quot; option, but the threads didn&#39;t mention that one.</p>

<p>Is it still possible to save morph favorites? All I&#39;m really asking is for a way to group the morphs I usually use in a single location. If there was a way to group morphs within subfolders, that&#39;d be fine, or to categorize morphs like you can do assets, that&#39;d be also fine.</p>

<p>Anyone have any idea? Appreciate the help.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello there. Hopefully someone can help me out here.</p>

<p>I create characters for a little VR game. We were using Unity 2017 and did not have this issue. With Unity 2019 when I import an fbx character with &#39;blendshapes&#39; or expression morphs the import is very, very slow unless the number of exported morphs is less than maybe 10. Then, when I export the character bundle in Unity the file size will be huge! Literally 3 or 4 times the size it was in 2017. I have a character that should be around 30MB when exported but ends up being 130MB just because it has a few morphs.</p>

<p>This is incredibly frustrating. I don&#39;t believe this is a Daz issue as such since it all works fine in 2017 but I wondered if anyone else was having the issue and if they had found a solution.</p>

I will get 100% CPU load when rendering images. It'll be like 22% rendering 4 and on the 5th render, the CPU suddenly showed up to 100% and The render slows down to a crawl. I've already tried upgrading the public beta, which i use and my graphics drivers

Specs: GTX 1070 (2 of them) 
64GB Ram

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Example. I&#39;m create a hood that I made 2-sided in ZBrush. I need the exterior to be a color and the exterior another.</p>

<p>When I use dForce, the 2 layers work independantly.</p>

<p>Is there a way to make this 2-sided hood simulate as thought it&#39;s one piece?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I know there is a button to show only PC+ items, I want to do the opposite sometimes trying to find things I can use my coupons on every month is a good one rather than having to sort by price and jump through pages to find things that are priced in certain ranges that are probably not PC+ while missing things I may want to find.&nbsp; Anyone know what to perhaps add to the URL string to do this?&nbsp; I just want a show me everything that is NOT PC+ :)</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I have been using iClone to export my Daz animations in alembic file to&nbsp;Keyshot. I would like to ease my workflow and buy the Alembic Exporter for DAZ Studio. However, from what I can gather there is&nbsp;no way to export characters in separate parts/nodes?</p>

<p>With iClone the character&#39;s arms, eye, eye moisture, torso, etc imports to Keyshot with different alembic nodes/parts. Meaning I can individually texturize and choose materials for each part. Is this possible with the Alembic Exporter for DAZ Studio?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>Ive been spending 3 hours trying to find an answer but looks like nobody ever experienced this before.</p>

<p>I just created a new character and when I try to render it, her skin looks weird. In fact, she has multiple different textures from a body part to an other. I zoomed on the arms so you can clearly see what&#39;s the problem. I spent shittones of time in the shader section to make sure I apply the same shader to all the body parts, but it still doesnt work : some parts of the body are glossy and others very mat.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Do you have any idea how I can fix this ?&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I have 2 GTX 1080 cards in my Win10 rig and iRay rendering is totally broken for me. For many others as well I&#39;ve seen.</p>

<p>What is the last working DS and nvidia driver revision that worked by just disableing OptiX?<br />
And how can I get my hands on that older DS version?</p>
