<p>I don&#39;t understand what this means - can anyone help?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I am trying to setup the animation timeline so I can essentially save characters with various morphs, instead of having to save them all as individual files, for easy modification and rendering. (As well as posing).</p>

<p>However, when I change ANY morph, it applies to the whole chain of keys, as if there is no keys, and I can clearly see various morph keys in each frame. (They are all selected. I want EVERYTHING to change, in EVERY key-frame I save, not EVERY key-frame that exists, which isn&#39;t selected.)</p>

<p>Since morphs ALSO control things like muscle-flex, this is sort of an important thing to have. So when you bend an arm, the muscles can flex correctly, instead of looking like a maniquin doll with nothing more than a soft skin joint.</p>

<p>I tried changing every value for creating keys, but everything is still just altering every keyframe, with ANY morph change.</p>

<p>EG, Setting &quot;Key frames&quot;, that should be saving ALL values, and &quot;Locking them&quot;, is basicly not doing what it should be doing. Thus the term, Key-frame. To record ALL keys and LOCK them from being altered.</p>

<p>Had a Zbrush update today and now GoZ is not working. I read the&nbsp;Help with GoZ Plugin (<a href="https://helpdaz.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/207530263-Help-with-GoZ-Plugin" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://helpdaz.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/207530263-Help-with-GoZ-Plugin</a>). I&#39;ve tried uninstalling and then reinstalling. And nothing seems to find the Zbrush. Here is what I see:</p>

<p>Sorry, cannot launch ZBrush.</p>

<p>Cannot find path to ZBrush application.</p>

<p>I&#39;ve spent the last hour trying to figure this out and am just giving up at this point and asking for help. Seems like this has just been a day of DAZ products not liking me.</p>

<p>On a default G8F body the bikini tanline i want to use looks ok.&nbsp; For the Golden Palace for G8F the material transfer utility that comes with GP works fine.&nbsp; However i dont want to use GP because i cant get it to look the way i want.&nbsp; The genital product that i want to use is 3feetwolf&#39;s New Gens for Victoria 8 however the transfer material utility that comes with the wet and tanned skins is messed up.&nbsp; The tan lines between the G8F and the NGV8 doesnt line up.&nbsp; And on the NGV8 between the anus and vagoo there is a straight horizontal line where on the side towards the front of&nbsp; the character is untanned but to the rear of it is is tanned.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m using DAZ 4.12&nbsp;with a gen 8 female. I use a preset pose. If I wish to change it back I have two options :</p>

<p>1 Undo : take 30 seconds&nbsp;to 1 minute</p>

<p>2 Edit &gt; Figure &gt; Zero &gt; Zero figure pose : takes 15 to 30 minutes !&nbsp;</p>

<p>Usually I use a pose and then I have to change it manually, fine tune it, so no more first option.</p>

<p>Why does it take so much longer to&nbsp;basically do the same thing ?&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello Daz friends... I just upgraded to a new computer with Windows 10 from my old computer that was running windows 7 Ulitmate ... I was using Daz studio 4.12 on the old machine... all the older hard drives have also been installed on this new machine.. So how do I get Daz working on this new machine ??&nbsp; Do I go into the old c drive and copy all of it to the new c drive ?&nbsp; Do I download&nbsp; Daz Studio again and labouriously download everything from this site that I have purchased over the years ???&nbsp; Shooting myself if that is the case...&nbsp; Any help would be greatly appricated</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Wondering is any one else is experiencing a similar issue.&nbsp; I have updated my GEForce RTX 2080 drivers.&nbsp; Windows 10.&nbsp; Daz 4.12 Beta Pro.</p>

<p>When I apply the G3&nbsp;height adjustment some wardrobe items are not staying with the G3 model.&nbsp; An&nbsp;example is Teen Girl Heals and Rocker Girl Thong.&nbsp; The heals stay on the ground&nbsp;not on the feet.&nbsp; The Thong stays where it loaded in not on the model.</p>

<p>Additionally, when I save a G3 model in a scene, close-out, re-load the G3 model with the height adjustments is jumping randomly up and down the Y-axis.</p>

<p>Any help is greatly appreciated as this has been an ongoing issue for me and curious if others are suffering as well?</p>

<p>Sometimes the pose control sliders, such as BEND in this case, appear as a circle rather than the bar. It seems to me that this indicates that tampering with the slider in this state would give problematic results or create undesirable movement.&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello all, no matter what site i download from be it freecg or renderosity i cant seem to see the items in daz 3d.</p>

<p>I downloaded a bunch of new hair for genesis 8 female, and the only hair i have is the toulouse hair. I copied the files to the daz folder in documents daz,in the public documents daz, also in program files daz. Im new to this obviously but cmon, it cant be this difficult can it? Also why so many daz folders?Why not a single one and just throw each download in there?IT would be tremendously user friendly. The reason i m asking is because i ve red numerous threads here and multiple tutorials in yt so obviously i m doing something wrong. Didnt change any folder location,program installed to wherever it was set to. Thanks in advance</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m trying to get Genesis Generation X2 (GenX2) to work in DAZ Studio 4.9 and can&#39;t figure it out.</p>

<p>As far as I can tell the plugin is installed correctly, looking at the plugin list it has a little green plg next to it. When I go to the GenX panel though the &quot;source&quot; and &quot;load figure&quot; buttons are greyed out. Looking under the warnings tab it says:</p>

<p>&quot;No Target figure definitions found&quot;</p>

<p>What am I missing? Or does it just not work in 4.9?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Solution: Not sure why this was causing the problem, but when restoring the My Library folders after the disk crash, I had duplicated the Environments folder inside the original Environments folder.</p>

<p>I happened to notice the duplicate in among the rest of my enviroment sets, and accessing that folder showed all the content I had been unable to access previously in the Content Library pane.</p>

<p>I copied that second folder&#39;s contents back to the correct Environments folder, skipping existing files, deleted the duplicate (after saving it, just in case !,) and now the content items are showing up as they ought to in Content Library.</p>

<p>All the item files I coulnd&#39;t access were present in both the original, correct folder, and in the duplicate folder within that one, when I checked with Browse to Folder Location, so I don&#39;t know why these items wouldn&#39;t show up in both places inside Content Library, but they wouldn&#39;t. Something about the duplicate folder names, maybe?</p>

<p>Problem solved, though. For general interest sake, the drive that failed was a Western Digital Elements 2 TB, that I had been using for only about 6 months, holding 1.5 TB of data. Had a backup of the content... not quite luck, but close to it, considering.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>I had a data disk crash, and have recovered all the content, which shows up in My Library folder, no problem.</p>

<p>Studio 4.12, though, now doesn&#39;t show some of these items in the Content Library, just the folder names, no content. Tried refresh, but that had no effect.</p>

<p>Browse to Folder Location shows all the content where it&#39;s supposed to be for those folders.</p>

<p>Content Directory Manager shows the correct path.</p>

<p>Tried reinstall of DS, no effect.</p>

<p>I should add that 99% percent of My Library is recognized, available, and loads correctly.</p>

<p>My install method, Manual, can&#39;t be at issue, since the items are all in the My Library folder. Reinstalling the content, manually, would just overwrite the same files, so no help there.</p>

<p>Some CMS update thing? I never mess with database issues in daz, because I have a huge library of purchased content, a very expensive asset to be playing around with/guessing.</p>

<p>Where is the hang-up? How do I fix it?</p>

<p>As I cannot find a recent post which answers my question, I&#39;m creating a new thread. If I&#39;ve missed an existing post, please point me in the right direction. :-)</p>

<p>I&#39;m looking for a buying guide which recommends the best hardware per budget which supports the main features of Daz3D (iRay, dForce) best. I&#39;ve seen buying guides for gaming setups that give you a few categories to choose from: e.g. budget (under 800$), mid-range (800$-1500) , upper-range (1500$-2500$), expert-range (2500$ and up).<br />
It would be great if something like that could be maintained for Daz3D, or at the very least a buying guide which tells you what to look out for in the type of GPU, CPU, type and amount of RAM, etc. etc.<br />

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi there. I have to make close to a hundred images for a doctor who&#39;s writing a book. So I need to makes poses of a 3D male doctor and some 3D patients.</p>

<p>I came across many issues, one of them being :</p>

<p>- I work on chosing clothes for a base <span>genesis 3</span> female&nbsp;in timeline <span>frame 0</span>.</p>

<p>- When it sounds fine I move on to timeline frame 5 for example and create a pose.&nbsp;</p>

<p>- Then I change my mind and want to modify clothes. No problem, I go back to frame 0, fit a new prop and all is good from frame 0 to 5.</p>

<p>- BUT if I come back to frame 0 and decide to <span>change from Genesis 3 basic to a different woman</span> Female Character, then I&#39;ll have a 5 frames morph from the new chosen girl to the base Genesis3. Damn.</p>

<p>I tried saving the frame 5&#39;s pose. But this seems to retain the pose and the girl&#39;s features. SO I end up with an animated morph again. I&#39;m a&nbsp;bit lost. If anyone knows how to avoid that please ? Thanks in advance ;)</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Since Iray does not release VRAM after each render, what is the point of using a batch renderer if you use GPU for render?</p>

<p>Nvidia render Iray 10x faster than CPU so even auto overnight with CPU after the first GPU render it is probably not as time efficient as just render manaully with GPU.</p>

<p>Whose fault is it not to address this memory management issue, Nvidia or Daz?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p><span>Project Hairy 456</span></p>

<p><samp>When I apply the &quot;Project Hairy Genesis Geo Shell&quot;to a genesis figure with genitals attached, it appears to cover the genitals with the same milky white shell.</samp></p>

<p><samp>When hairy options are applied none of the hair options appear to effect the genitals, leaving&nbsp;initial milky-white covering.&nbsp; &nbsp;I have tried hiding the genitals, but they still show in the shell.</samp></p>

<p><samp>I have found the genitals in the shell-surfaces and made them transparent, but it still leaves the area looking like he has been shaving there.</samp></p>

<p><samp>I am using the Donovan skin underneath.</samp></p>

<p><samp>Is there something I am missing?&nbsp; &nbsp;Obviously I can&#39;t show you photos.</samp></p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;One thing I have not been able to figure out is this. I&#39;ve been testing the Grabber on Claudia&#39;s skirt in an image trying to raise the skirt over her leg; but the Gizmo appears way off in the distance of the frame. I would appreciate any guidance as to how to relocate the Gizmo without moving the mesh; to bring it in closer to the faces being manipulated. like it appears in the promo Video.I dont see any guidance in the pdf for that issue.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I just installed Daz Studio 4.12 on a new computer (refurbished iMac). All of my old content libraries, models and scenes are on a removable drive. Now, Studio won&#39;t open any of the scene .DUF files on the remote drive, and when I save a scene to the folder, it will no longer open that scene either. The files are &quot;grayed out&quot;. However, it does seem to read the content libraries on the removable drive.</p>

<p>Can I set my old &quot;models&quot; folder as the default instead of the one Daz installed? How can I get Studio to recognize the old files as valid?</p>
