      <title>Timeline + keyframes problem.</title>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>How to recreate: empty scene:</p>

<p>1. Create a null at frame 0. Create keyframe for it there.</p>

<p>2. Go to frame 5. move the null somewhere.</p>

<p>3. Copy the keyframe created at frame 5.</p>

<p>4. Go to frame 10 and post the copied keyframe.</p>

<p>Even though it&#39;s the exact same(copied) keyframe at&nbsp;frames 5 and 10, the null starts to jump around at frames between those(6,7,8,9). Why? Isn&#39;t it supposed to connect keyframes with gradual&nbsp;movement. There is no movement between them, it&#39;s the exact same translation/rotation! Why is it moveing inbetween?&nbsp;What am I doing wrong?&nbsp;</p>

<p>I&#39;m trying to learn animations and every time I try to create one, at some point, hands and legs start to break themselves, jump around or even disappear. Sometimes their rotation values go to &quot;inf&quot; and DS simply freezes and crashes when this happens. Am I doing something wrong? Or is it a bug of some sort?&nbsp;</p>

<p>I have this image (attached) currently rendering at 53% 217 iterations and it is greater than 2,500 x 2,500 there is still a lot of noise and the first render I did that went for over 7 hours (different hair but pretty much the same) came out really noisy too. I&#39;m not sure what to do to get it to be noise free or have better clarity. I set the render quality to 5 the convergence (I think that was what it was called) to 98% and I turned off the time limit. Not sure what I&#39;m doing wrong at this point or what I can do to improve the clarity....</p>

<p>I just downloaded Blacksmith 3D Pro 7 and can&#39;t open the application. I get an error that says that OS X has quarantined the app and it gives me a suggested line of code that is meant to let me correct this problem through the Terminal, but I haven&#39;t been able to make it work. It just gives me an error: [Errno 13] Permission denied: &#39;//.DocumentRevisions-V100&#39;</p>

<p>Has anyone else seen this? Any suggestions on how can I fix it?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Just trying to wrap my head around what some of these settings are doing.</p>

<p>1) Zero figure pose</p>

<p>2) Add a Dforce wind node</p>

<p>3) Simulate and watch clothing explode</p>

<p>But....</p>

<p>If I change initialize from memorized pose from off to on, the clothing reacts normally to the wind.&nbsp; Does anyone have an explanation for this?&nbsp; I am just trying to understand the system better so I can fully leverage it.&nbsp; Thank you for your time.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I am sure this must have been asked before, But I can&#39;t find it. I have numerous scenes and other objects that only come out black in 3dl. Problem is, sometimes I want to render several views like for a comic book and Iray can take hours per on my computer. Also, if I put more that 2 figures in some scenes, The computer shuts off. Hours lost and if I forgot to save (usually) the whole scene has to be redone. I know that in 3dl i can render a dozen times in about an hour. useful when I want to render the adjust for a contest. Any help would be appreciated.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I keep getting error messages when I try and generate a scene. The trees and other objects all get piled on top of each other.</p>

<p>The scripts don&#39;t have thumbnails for them.</p>

<p>I have an Nvidia 1080ti with 11 gb of memory, I would think that that would be enought to generate a tree scene without adding or editing anything but just generating a stock scene.</p>

<p>Something is worng...</p>

<p>Camera&nbsp;none won&#39;t let me add a camera and the camera prop does not show up in the camera list...</p>

<p>I tried uninstalling with the Daz&nbsp;install manager and reinstalling still no luck.</p>

<p>I&#39;d like to apply a little dForce to an older hair which is made up of several surfaces. Is there some way to handle the dForce weight map per surface? I&#39;d need to paint the &quot;roots&quot; of the hair with the brush such that they are fixed in place when simulating, but when painting I can&#39;t manage to paint on one &quot;layer&quot; (surface) without affecting the others.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I installed my content on my new PC and evereything is shown in the content library/smart content but when I try to load anything I get always an Resource Error message.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As far as I can see the path is not correcty inside DAZ Studio. It should be stated E:/........ but it only shows up as :/.......</p>

<p>Inside Content Directory Manager it is correctly stated as E:/......</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>As I found out now, this does not happen with all content. Some work fine and some didn`t.</p>

<p>Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>So last night, as I was trying to get some recently downloaded and installed things to show up in the Smart Content Panel, I accidentally hit the Reset Database &quot;button&quot;, when I intended to hit the Re-Import Metadata &quot;button&quot;, and now all of my &quot;user created&quot; mats--characters, presets, scenes, scene subsets--no longer show up in the SCP. (Everything else does, though, including the recently downloaded stuff that I was trying to access in the first place.) So, my question is: how do I get all of the things that were previously listed under &quot;Unassigned&quot; back into the Smart Control Panel? Thanks in advance for any and all help; accessing those materials from the Content Library pane is going to *seriously* slow my work-flow....</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>So I&#39;ve run into this problem with&nbsp; a scalp base showing&nbsp; before and was able to fix it by doing something like expanding the hair, etc, but now I&#39;ve found something <strong>I can&#39;t fix that way</strong>.&nbsp; I tried scaling up the scalp a bit , tried scaling it down, no improvement.&nbsp; I&#39;m wondering if this is a thing with dark skin?&nbsp; I even tried reducing the scalp opacity to zero, but that didn&#39;t do anything, either.</p>

<p>Character is <a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.daz3d.com/cb-ekua-hd-for-genesis-8-female" target="_blank">CB Ekua</a>.&nbsp; I&#39;m having the problem with a few short hairs with scals.&nbsp; First with <a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.daz3d.com/short-classy-hair-for-genesis-3-and-8-females" target="_blank">Short Classy Hair</a>, and then I tried here with <a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.daz3d.com/rose-hair-for-genesis-3-and-8-females" target="_blank">Rose Hair</a>.&nbsp; Lighting is Scene Only from two emissives.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

<p><em>Here&#39;s the weird thing: I tried this on the same&nbsp;character in a new scene, with just the standard HDRI, and I couldn&#39;t reproduce the problem there, but I can&#39;t get rid of it here.</em></p>

<p>I will fix this in post for now, but I would like to know if this is an issue especially with dark skin, and how to resolve it.&nbsp; I did lighten the skin some, and&nbsp; I don&#39;t know if that may be the issue.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>After the Win10 update last night, my DS 4.12.0.86 has developed strange cursor lag with every tool except for the Node Selection and Geometry Editor tools.&nbsp; Cursor movement is fine, but it take 3-5 seconds for the cursor icon to change and highlight the interface element it is hovering over. If it stays in the pane where it has taken the time to update, it will highlight as normal on hover intermittenly, but moving to a different pane consistently triggers the 3-5 second delay again. Node Selection and Geometry Editor are updating and highlighting perfectly without the lag in all panes.&nbsp; Anyone who might have an instight into why 2 tools are working correctly, but the others are having trouble, please reply.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m having trouble with a scene. I purchased Ruby from here-</p>

<p>And used one of her lighting presets (skydome presets) just to see what would happen.</p>

<p>Suddenly I can&#39;t seem to turn her skydome OFF. I want to use parametric lights in the scene instead but it completely ignores those now. What setting where got messed with that suddenly parametric lights won&#39;t show up in I-Ray renders?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>It started when I first installed 4.11 when it came out. I didn&#39;t have time for 3D until now so that&#39;s why I&#39;m asking this question this late.</p>

<p>Back with 4.10 I was able to dress each Generation of Genesis in the previous versions clothes, also could switch male and female stuff. Yeah, guess thats how AutoFit was sopposed to work.</p>

<p>After I Installed 4.11 this stopped working. All clothes are mared as unsupported now and I can&#39;t even specify the type of clothing. Not even switching among the same generation works anymore.</p>

<p>I even tried to go back to 4.10 (I always keep the installers), but that didn&#39;t help.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>So, how can I make Autofit to support the previous generations again?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Yesterday I bought a pro kit (Josephine in case that means anything), cause I needed the&nbsp;<span>Anatomical Elements for a future project. Anyway, I click it and the piece fits fine on the model, but I can&#39;t get it to use the models torso texture or materials to make it blend in. I tried selecting it in Surfaces and adding everything manually, but it didn&#39;t match at all. It takes the whole texture and shrinks it, then applies so it&#39;s really small and mostly white border that was around the texture. What am I doing wrong? I didn&#39;t have this trouble with Genesis 2 models. It&#39;s kinda obvious that I can&#39;t show photos of what I&#39;m talking about. I need to make this work.</span></p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m new to IRAY decals and haven&#39;t quite figured them out.</p>

<p>I&#39;m trying to give this guy a chest tattoo. I made a decal node parented to his chest and pointed it at his chest. I haven&#39;t placed the opacity map yet, so I expect a big black square to show up on his chest. Instead I get this Rorschach-esque pattern; it&#39;s like the decal doesn&#39;t reach everywhere. Why is that and what do I do about it?</p>

<p>I wanna use this bathrobe on my G8F, it starts already with the weird problem that it never autofits (not even on G3F, it dont have a fit to autoscript), so I have to select it always and do it self.</p>

<p>But... at G8F it crashes :(</p>

<p>Can someone test it too? maybe my installaiton is just broken, maybe its ... absolute not aviable for G8F ? :( its sadly the only bathrobe I have which I can open, my other ones just have stuff like &quot;show breasts&quot; which I dont care^^.</p>

<p>Update during creation: it completed it :o it seems like the fitting is very very slow, so can someone test it too if he/she own that product?</p>
