<p>If anyone can give me some advice about how to get it working, that would be appreciated. I&#39;m still new to DAZ so I don&#39;t know how everything works yet. I installed the product in the usual way, from the Install Manager.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I just loaded in the latest version of DS 4.12.1.117 and it seems to have knocked out iray rendering on the GPU.&nbsp; I found an aborted thread that referred to a similar problem during the beta phase, but I couldn&#39;t find the information referred to in the response before that thread was cut off, or any confirmation that this might be the same problem. &nbsp;</p>

<p>&quot;The latest Public Build, 4.12.1.40, has an iray update that addresses issues with the 440 drivers - if you aren&#39;t, try that and if it still fails post to the beta thread.&quot; &nbsp;</p>

<p>Has anyone else had this problem and, if so, is there a similar update for the general release version? &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>In the image you can see the Laguna Mermaid has a &quot;belly&quot; problem, it looks like the underwear is showing. I found this discussion here: <a href="https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/931141/#Comment_931141" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/931141/#Comment_931141</a>. I&#39;ve probably spent 1.5 hours trying to digest it and I think I understand how to take care of this, but here&#39;s my problem: I can set the tail surface to all kinds of shaders and textures to change the belly, but the SKIN option presets (under the SURFACES tab) do not list any skin options other than snake skin and a few other files that are no good. I want to select the same skin base as the figure so they match. I don&#39;t know how to get around this. I am wondering if Laguna is somehow set to look at Daz defaults, I set up the content to be on a different drive so it&#39;s not on C:. I don&#39;t see a way to import a skin file either. Where am I going wrong? Thanks</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hey, I am playing around with animation and, I set my Engine now to &quot;Intermediate OpenGL&quot;, and confirmed the popup that changing my interface can do soemthing with the result, so... whatever I closed that message and now is my Software loading and loading, but I dont get any message/window etc.</p>

<p>This is my Setting:</p>

<p>Yes it have a cute filename, too&nbsp; lazy to censor that name now :p</p>

<p>I made some math calulations and even with 50 Iterations and a postdenoiser, its 27seconds for 1 frame, turning around does take me 204frames and that is still 1,35Hr.</p>

<p>Its crazy... so i wanna try openGL, but... well no feedback from Daz, can someone tell me if it is now working and its just in a slow loading progress?</p>

What is the difference between these files? Do I need them both? Is one for Daz and the other poser? If so, I don&#39;t use Poser. Is it possible to skip installing this? Any advice is appreciated. So I am testing this out, trying to create a normal human skinned G8 but with, let&#39;s say, only socks that are made using &quot;No Suit&quot;. I have been failing miserably...</p>

<p>The instructions said &quot;edit your suit as you wish, by deleting any geografts you do not wish to use, and adjust the morphs (Actor/People/Stylized/No Suit) to suit your choices of grafts. Then in Surfaces tab select different surfaces and apply the different colour property presets, or input any colour of your choice in the diffuse colour section of the surface. Replacing Geografts can be done manually by clicking on the individual geograft you need in the Grafts folder. You may have to manually apply your skin settings to areas you choose to have skin showing instead of the No Suit materials. &quot;</p>

<p>- How do I delete geografts?<br />
- I haven&#39;t even been able to select individual geografts<br />
- What does it mean to replace geografts?<br />
- How does one even begin manually applying skin settings?</p>

<p>This product definitely doesn&#39;t seem to be catered to new users, my apologies for sounding dumb!</p>

<p>In the attached image, I applied M8 skin on top of the No Suit Base hoping it would work somehow but as you can see, it looks terrifying! :P</p>

I hope that somebody could help with that issue. Sometimes I am looking for some installed content, but can&#39;t find it. So I tried to uncheck &quot;filter by content&quot; in the Smart Content Pane and clicked on &quot;All Files&quot; (sort by name: A to Z). But it only shows me the files from &quot;A&quot; to &quot;B&quot;, not more. That&#39;s annoying. When I click on all, I want to have all files listed in that pane. Content&nbsp;Management is really difficult in DAZ anyway. Can&#39;t find what I&#39;m searching for. Can somebody tell me, how to really&nbsp;see ALL installed files and not just a little selection?<br />

<p>What im trying to do is to pack multiple props include in same group as a set AND with the &quot;set&quot; label. I know this is possible because i see it on other product but cant figure how to do it.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m working on a heavily morphed Genesis 8 female head; commercial morphs, Zbrush morphs, scaling etc. Somewhere along the line, the joint geometry of the eyes has got screwed up and now when I use the Side-Side eye morph slider the eyes do literally move sideways instead of just turning to look sideways. (see attached image)</p>

<p>Can anyone suggest/explain how I can reset or readjust the eye geometry so that the Side-Side slider just makes the figure look to the side rather than having the eyes pop out of their sockets?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I recently bought the render queue (<a href="https://www.daz3d.com/render-queue" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://www.daz3d.com/render-queue</a>). It seemed to work properly until I tried to render more than two pictures in a row. After two rendered pics, the program does not restart. When I click on on the queue folder I receive the following note (see attached pic).</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>Since I have installed Daz Studio 4.12, I have trouble to restart DAZ Studio immediately after closing a scenery. Sometimes I need to click more than ten times on the desktop icon. Maybe that&#39;s the same reason for the render queue issues? Just an idea, but no ideas how to fix it.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi there, I&#39;m having a lot of issues with the latest update of Daz. 4.12.1.117.</p>

<p>My spces are</p>

<p>CPU i7 5930k</p>

<p>Ram 28Gb</p>

<p>GPU Gtx 1080ti. GTX 1080. GTX 1070ti. GTX 1070. * i use the 1070ti as my monitor GPU *&nbsp;</p>

<p>I&#39;ve seen with various scenes it renders for about 10 to 20 minutes completely fine on three GPU&#39;s 1080ti, 1080, 1070. Then suddenly switches to CPU. Is&nbsp;not as if I deplete My computer resources and can render on the GPU&#39;s as the render advance fine for some time on the GPU&#39;s</p>

<p>I&#39;ve check my resources and the VRAM is at least 2GB under my GPU limits (6GB aprox for 1070 and 1080 and 8.5GB for 1080ti) My RAM is at 20GB usage. So clearly I&#39;m nor running out of resources. Even more is a scene I render perfectly fine in Early version of DAZ.</p>

<p>I&#39;ve unchecl the Fallback to CPU but it stops the render.</p>

<p>I&#39;m using the post denoiser wich i suppose it may be an issue compatibility?</p>

<p>I have the latest Nvidia driver. Will try an earlier version tomorrow.</p>

<p>I&#39;ve tried the Beta with same results.</p>

<p>Is there a way to get an earlier version of Daz? So I can work fine gain.</p>

I found a &quot;auto shape on&quot; &quot;auto shape off&quot; button, but I can&#39;t find the actual morphs. I looked into &quot;parameters : actor : legs&quot; for instance, but it doesn&#39;t seem that there&#39;s anything there.&nbsp;</p>

<p>There doesn&#39;t seem to be any read me or explanation, either, as it is unfortunately the case with many assets, the PA leaving us to fend for ourselves, and figure out as we can where they have decided to put their stuff and how to use it, something that irritates me to no end, as it would be so simple to give some basic explanation in a PDF or similar.&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I installed &quot;Elbereth garden&quot;&nbsp; :&nbsp;<a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.daz3d.com/elbereth-garden">https://www.daz3d.com/elbereth-garden</a>&nbsp;, and wanted to change the shaders to use it in Iray. But there&#39;s a water surface where I can&#39;t apply any shader. Everything seems to work normally, I see the shader in the work space, but both in Iray preview and in render, the surface stays unchanged, having a greyish appearance (see attached image : the other surfaces are checkered, the water is grey). I tried with many different shaders, like carpets or metals, but none appear in render.&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>So I&#39;m rendering a scene in IRAY. I have 3 cameras, 1 distanct light (IRAY). A few point lights in 3Delight which I don&#39;t can if show up in IRAY (tried in IRAY looked overblown so I turned back to 3Delight)</p>

<p>Rendering out two of the camera angles in IRAY worked perfectly fine. Trying to render out the last angle in IRAY, it comes up entirely black and the render never finishes. Cancelling the render also only sometimes works - other times it allows me to hit cancel but doesn&#39;t actually cancel - I have to force quit the program. But it was drawing from my disk like crazy as if it was trying to work. This render will render out in 3delight no problem though.</p>

<p>Any ideas what might be causing this problem?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Right now, I have to switch to 32-bit (DS 4.9) to bring up (and operate) my Lip-Sync.</p>

<p>Mimic Live only appears in 64-bit, and the switching between versions, tends to cause&nbsp;conflicts.</p>

<p>Does Lip-Sync have a 64-bit version?&nbsp; Or will 4.10 (if downloaded) display the Lip-Sync pane?</p>

<p>(The problem is, the Lip-Sync pane only appears in the &#39;Window&#39; tab, in 32-bit&nbsp;(4.9).&nbsp; ...While Mimic&nbsp;will NOT appear in the 32-bit version.</p>

<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;...Meanwhile, I have been insgtructed to remove the 32-bit version, if I want conflict messages to cease.)</p>

<p>&nbsp;If Lip-Sync would run in 64-bit...if the L-Sync pane would appear in 64-bit, I could run them both, and uninstall 32-bit.</p>

<p>Has this bug been addressed in 4.10?&nbsp; &nbsp; (or by a lip-sync upgrade?)</p>

<p>And I just noticed!</p>

<p>I did a Product Page search for Lip-Sync, and couldn&#39;t find it.&nbsp; Then I&nbsp;checked my Product Library, and I cannot get it to come up.</p>

<p>I sure need to get some&nbsp;dialogue tools working smoothly.&nbsp; Getting characters to have conversations, is moving from bumpy to difficult.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello all. So I built my new machine (love it!) and transfered all my daz stuff over without managing to wreck anything. Now when I render on the new machine, the little log that shows the iray iterations disappears as soon as the canvase is done. Is there a way to keep that up after the render finishes so I can see exactly how long it took? I&#39;d like to compare my new times to the old, but the little box keeps closing on me. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I often create my own characters and I use a lot of morphs to make them different from each other.&nbsp;The female characters show a great deal of variety, particularly in the breasts department as one can easily modify their&nbsp;<br />
size, depth, shape, height, etc...&nbsp;<br />
As long as they are naked, there is nothing to complain about. Not for me anyway ;-)&nbsp;&nbsp;But for characters with medium to large breasts, it&#39;s always anoying how shirts or tops don&#39;t behave or stretch naturally&nbsp;around the curves...<br />
Being a known problem, there are some tools that help to minimize or eliminate this plague. Some clothes also come with&nbsp;a morph that specifically affect the bridge positively.&nbsp;I already own SY Universal Breast Helper, and it does a very good job on average. However, the problem with&nbsp;universal&nbsp;tools is that they are... universal. It&#39;s a one-size-fits-all solution that will not perfectly fit any particular&nbsp;character. Sometimes, I&#39;ll export the cloth as obj, adapt the shape in Blender and import as a morph. The morph however&nbsp;is linked to the cloth and adapted to a character, so it won&#39;t work if you change cloth or character... Not very practical...</p>

<p><strong>My question</strong> (finally): Given a particular character, how can I make a custom projection morph controlled by a dial&nbsp;that would not visually affect the figure (important if the cleavage is visible!), but have an effect on the clothes?&nbsp;I wouldn&#39;t bother&nbsp;to do it for each character, but I&#39;d do it only once...</p>
