Which figure? The anatomical elements are included only in the Pro bundles for the adult male name characters (Michael etc.).

  • I bought the Michael starter bundle. Is it possible to buy anatomical elements seperatley.

Nope male/female genitalia only come with the pro bundles ,but there are genitals at other sites  that you could buy

Daz REALLY should advertise this fact. It's getting really frustrating seeing these kinds of posts. And as for the male genitals available at other sites... well, I don't want to be insulting, so I won't comment on those.

I know all the reasons Daz gives for only including the "anatomical elements" in the (adult figure) Pro Bundles... fine... don't include it with the Base Figure. But why the hell not put it in the Starter Bundles as well as the Pro Bundles? Forcing customers to buy a bunch of stuff they don't want or need only angers them. And please... no excuses about credit card companies or PayPal or making such content easilly accessible to youngsters; those won't be taken seriously by me since I got the Michael 4 genital figure free in a bundle in FreeStuff here not more than a few months ago.

It is one of DAZ's dumbest and annoying marketing strategies, but if you bought M7 in the last 30 days, you can return it for a full refund or credit for an upgrade.  Otherwise, the best you can do is hope for the Pro Bundle for one of the other male figures that you don't already have to go on sale, as they all come with the same prop (insert your own "Seen one, seen them all" joke here) and all of the male pro bundles for G3M that have been released thus far have included the elements.   I can't promise that will stay true, though, as a number of the G2M and G2F Pro Bundles didn't include them.  Leo 7 and Gianni 7 are both old enough now that they're starting to show up at 65-70% off to PC members.

  • I haven't purchased any of the male pro bundles yet, but I would really like anyone's feedback on this question. Exactly how do the anatomical elements in them compare to the ones you can purchase separately from third party vendors on other websites?

I agree. I've been doing 3D art for 8 or 9 months now and STILL don't have the anatomical elements because I've not been able to buy any of the pro bundles. Putting them behind such a steep pay wall is harsh. Don't get me wrong, I KNOW that sometimes the pro bundles go on great sales - but so far I've been unable to catch them on a deep enough sale to fit my budget (once about a month or so ago they went pretty low and I could have afforded to get one, but it only lasted for a few hours and by the time I found out about it, it was over. Which means it was probably a mistake any.). They really should sell the anatomical elements separately or make it easier to get them. It's pretty silly to make your customers upset by forcing them to buy a pro bundle with a bunch of stuff they don't want anyway just to get the anatomical element.

Well to add on to that a bit. I wasn't even clear on whether the anatomical elements were avaliable on either M7 or V7. If you goto each of their product pages, there is still nothing that mentions any of that! I think DAZ needs to hire a technical writer to provide better product documentation.

The anatomical elements are listed under "what's included" for the M7 and V7 Pro bundles.

Characters that have an anatomical elements morph of their own:

    https://www.daz3d.com/fw-dan-megapack

    https://www.daz3d.com/ej-gregori-hd-deluxe-pack

    could be an intersting possibility

You still need the genitals from the pro bundle for those to work.

    For Genesis:

    https://www.daz3d.com/corbin-for-michael-5

    https://www.daz3d.com/tyrese-for-m5

the artist https://www.daz3d.com/male-m3dia said on another page on this forums that they have their own morphs

  • Morphs work on the male genitalia, not by themselves. You can't morph reasonable looking junk out of the existing base geometry (not even with females).

[Bother]! Sorry, didn't realize that! Guess I'll have to go to other stores, then: the pro bundles are too expensive for THAT feature only

And 3feetwolves lady bits for g8 work perfectly on g8 and g3 with one click, no need to mess around with materials

So a content creator I like has a store in Daz and a store at another site. I recently purchased a couple figures from the other site and noticed they had the female genetalia. Will the characters that creator makes for Daz specically not have the genetalia? I don't really care if it does or does not, you have just made me curious now.

No, only DAZ 3D supplies genitalia in the DAZ Store although some PAs supply morphs to the genitalia that DAZ 3D has supplied via the DAZ Originals human Pro Bundles. The genitalia in those bundles are always the same, including the morphs. Only the texture sets are different between the different pro bundles for the genitalia.

Characters at DAZ might have maps for the genitalia, but the mesh only comes with pro bundles

You mean as in on the textures or a simple morph? That is allowed at all stores and up to the artist if they want to include it.

Maps, mesh, morphs, textures. I am new and don't even know what you guys are talking about. I was curious if Daz did not allow genetalia from content creators for a character sold on Daz.

Bottom line: if you want to buy modeled genitalia in the DAZ Store only the business DAZ 3D will supply them and you must buy a human character pro bundle to have them as part of the purchase.

Sure, if that's all you're wanting the bundle for. To me, the anatomical elements are a value added bonus to the whole package.

There are 3 types of genital products. Ones that are added to the textures to give the look of genitals. Ones that are simple morphs for females to give the impression of genitals and actual geograft mesh parts added to the figure which DAZ only sells with the pro bundles and they are basic at best, which is why there is a market for 3rd party addons.

If for some reason you always render figures fully clothed, then none of this affects you

of course, since I already have many of the elements included in the bundle, or am not interested in al the others; I need to render some nude scene, so I have to go 3rd party

Thank you! Thank you! For explaining. I was just curious. I don't have a desire at this stage in my development to make titillating renders. I would much rather have you running from the building crying after looking at my renders.

No problem. I have some sort of nudity in 80-90% of all my renders, so this is a topic I need to know about, LOL.

Don't forget that sometimes the relevant pro bundles go for very cheap prices, or very occassionally are free, so it is possible to pick up the extra "bits" at a more reasonable price, you just have to be patient and pounce on the deals when they arise. Recently M7 pro bundle was being offered for $5 or so, a lot cheaper than getting just the bits at another store.

  • This topic NEVER gets old!

    lol

For clarity,  you only really need to buy ONE Genesis 8 female pro bundle (ie Victoria 8) and ONE Genesis 8 male pro bundle (ie Michael 8) to get the genitals. Those same genitals are used for every other Daz base figure in the Genesis 8 line and all the texture sets that have genital maps will fit them. Hope that made sense.
