    ?

Why wouldn't it be for 3Delight?

I only have it on my wishlist, so cannot try, but I don't see any text saying it doesn't have 3Delight support.

What makes you think so? surprise

    Got me confused.

It says "Daz Studio Iray Material Presets (.DUF)" but doesn't mention 3Delight.

And with the Punch Sale conditions there is no way to check it out for the next week or however long it remains a Punchable item.

Amazing as it looks, still don't want to get stuck with it if no 3Delight Presets.

I loaded up the Old Barn Set and everything except the grass is DAZ Studio default shader. You'd just have to change the grass. The materials folder has the iRay presets. I think it may be a mistake that the grass loads that way.

Is it so difficult to write in the information that this model uses DAZ Studio default shaders? It is just written that it uses Iray

Can`t understand this, do vendors have to pay for letters?

  • I bought it because it says iray materials, but I can't find any iray presets, except for the grass.  In product view there is an iray folder, but the materials in there are just DAZ Studio Default.

Thanks for that info Spit. Appreciated. Decided to wait till it's Wednesday in Utah before buying, then I can return it if not useful to me

EDIT: Should have looked at the "PUNCH SALE" page first, it's already fallen off the punchable item list :-D

I don't think you can return it anyway.  According to the fine print,

    "Can I Return My Purchase(s)?

Products purchased to earn punches or for which discounts were applied due to earned punches are non-returnable unless verified as faulty by Daz Customer Service."

Which is another reason I prefer straight sales than punch sales -- there's no problem returning a regularly discounted item, because it's pretty straightforward. Punch, though? Eeeenh.

If it's no longer punchable it will neither earn nor receive a discount, so returns should be normal.

    Cheers folks :-D

That is why I was waiting for it to drop off the punchable item list (and one of the reasons why I find punch sales a pain, no matter; there are other sales I like. Different strokes).
