The Forum Archive and Previous Forums's pages no longer exist. Hence those links have been removed.

Found a few threads from "Where this all started" smiley [be forewarned, half the pages are gone]

Once upon a time many titles and links were shown. Then some names were added in here and there ... and eventually people came to look for their stuff not under type so much as by their names ... which would have been fine had everything been under their names .. and it being a WIP always ... sometimes the general appearance of names or paragraphs vary ... no particular reason, let us remember I am half blind and not worry too much about these things HOWEVER in an attempt to please the masses: MOST, not all, items are now under somebody's name. They may have created it or converted it or commissioned it or re-made it or whatever. If perchance one wishes to find something by type, I recommend the browser's seach engine. The list in its entirety is rather long. Please note that "names and products" may appear in MORE than ONE post.

The Goodies heart

Notes: While somewhat sorted this list is a compilation from several posts.
Not all items are Poser/Daz Studio files, some are for .obj files or other program specific files. Some are old, some may require conversion or “TLC” [manual fixes, do not complain!]. Poser files usually work in D/S although mats [either way] may require tweaking. AFAIK if a computer can run Poser it can run D/S. D/S which is free atm, can export .obj files which Poser can in turn, import.
For item links for products hosted at some websites such as Renderosity, one may have to be already signed in for the page to display.
Sharing and Caring, it makes the world go around :-)
:-) Hosted over at XCalpro there are several items including older ones.
Registration is required for some downloads. Must use a real email address for authentication ... and be patient. May take a few hours. XCalpro also has some $ downloads to help cover the cost of bandwidth usage. Links to those have not been posted as per Terms of Service here.

Many items are marked with identifiers for season/show/realm specific.
TOS- The Original Series
TNG - The Next Generation (may also include DS9 and Voyager or be marked as more specifically in some cases.)
RI - The ReImagined Original Series. The new timeline and series.
MU - Mirror Universe
VOY - Voyager
STO - Star Trek Online

http://www.foundation3d.com/ - -A site with a huge selection of scifi, including Star Trek. Models are in many formats here. Some are MAX only, but many are Poser compatible.
http://sfc.battleclinic.com/docks/browse.php At Battleclinic, there’s a wide variety of formats from 3Ds to lightwave.
http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/files/Bridge_Commander/Ships;639 Bridgecommander files are usually in .mod format. for this you need Milkshape 3D and the correct plug-in:
http://www.3dgladiators.com/ Has a collection of files, some in .obj, many in Lightwave, etc.

http://chumbalum.swissquake.ch/ms3d/download.html about halfway down the Milkshape download page you’ll find the plugin you need:Milkshape Plugins R4. This combo will let you convert .mod files into standard .obj format.
or you can use NifSkope to do the conversion: http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifSkope
http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/ There are some challenges: the Bridge Commander packs don’t usually include ambient maps.
