Multi-Layered Image Editor in DS 4.9

Do I have to purchase the Multi-Layered Image Editor version 4.9. It says that it is only for versions 3 and below, so if I don't need it in 4.9 how do I use it and how do I use any of the L.I.E. layers.

I'm sorry I don't understand, I'm a total noob at this.

No, as long as you have entered the (free) Studio 4 Pro serial number from your account the Layered Image Editor is available in DS without needing to add anything.

ok, where do I find it? and how do I use it...LOL   told ya I'm a noob :)

It's in the same menu as the Browse command for loading a new image - generally, in the Editor tab of the Surfaces pane for a mappable property (click the little mini-thumbnail next to the colour picker or strength slider)
