Gift Card restrictions

So...received a gift card from a contest. Trying to see what all restrictions gift cards have on them such as limited things they can be used on, built in expiration dates, and stackability. Remembered there being a bit of commotion with the new store concerning changes to gift cards and coupons.

No restrictions with gift cards, just add it to your account in the correct place, and it will show up as store credit, which can be spent on anything. Heck, do you know you can even buy another gift card with it if you wanted to.

Oh and forgot, it doesn't expire either,

Does the balance from it have to be used all at once?

No, when you redeem the gc, it is converted to store credit. On checkout you have the option to use store credit. The amount of money will be subtracted from your store credit, what's left will still be there for future shopping.
