Wow, those floors are amazing.
That is really pretty- I love the contrast of the cold mountains with the idea of swimming in a hopefully not as cold pool! The floor is beautiful and I like that the lighting is subtle. Beautifully done!
Very nice looking render Ivy! I love the reflection on the floor, looks great. That mountian background fits perfectly too!
+1
+1 here too; it can be frustrating wading through the posts, but I prefer that to trying to find the original image being discussed.
Not a good thing though for people who have to pay for there Data or only have a set amount per month. Downloading the same image three or four times soon adds up.
I've resorted to blocking off site image hosts (imgur , photobucket, and others) with host file entries so I don't see those images, only the ones hosted here on the forums.
Basically the hosts file tells Windows the IP address of the image hosts is 0.0.0.0 ( a non-exsistant IP address) the connection fails, and the images never load.
I know it's a bit heavy handed, but I don't have any other options for handling them.
Running the browser in 'Do Not Show Images' mode does the same. In Opera, which I use, you can also specify which sites to block or let through. I use it occasionally if I am on a slow network as it also speeds up page downloading.
Normally your browser will cache it so you'll only download it the first time you view it.
..........and if they have the browser set to clear cache on exit?
Thank you I used Toms Stone Iray enhancement on them I got free at rendo a while back. and I replaced the hand railing with Toms Auto chome textures for Iray and I used Toms Blue Iray glass Shader for the pool water but i did replace the text map it self back the orignal one. I just left toms Iray settings .. I light fixtures I used Daz real lights for Iray.
Thank you very much Novica .
Thank you very much, I like to use real world exprinces for my inspations.and I have agreat Power shot camera and live in a really wonder area of the world that can provide me with some very breath taking views of th appliacian mountains . I'm going to try to do a few renders with this set up maybe even a night time set up and see if I can improve on it a little more
It's mildly disturbing/gory, so I'll just link to the Monster Smile:
http://willbear.deviantart.com/art/Monster-smile-568658373
(zombie skin, used a cutout to give him a big ol' smile, adjustments to teeth and jaws)
This isn't perfect, it should either be a scar or a fresh bleeding wound, but... just an experiment with https://www.daz3d.com/wound-makeup-artist-geometry-shells-genesis-2-bundle
Very easy to use, I'm happy. (Blood would have required some work to place an overlapping drip of blood. Didn't feel like it)
The real problem is the forum software doesn't include a link back to the quoted post. Other forums I've frequented do, and it's really nice to be able to open the quoted post to a new window/tab for reference.
You know, there are a number of products that do things I am perfectly doing myself, like AtmoCam, the hair shading stuff from Mec4D's Unshaven 2, wounds...
These are perfect examples of how 'workflow' is totally worth money, because let me tell you, easily clicking 'apply X iray hair' is SO MUCH FASTER than what I was doing before. Totally worth it (not even to mention the actual, you know, beards)
Trying out the Yanmei skin (on a male), plus a few morphs to make the guy look at least somewhat asian. Unshaven 2 'jet black' shader on the hair.
I love the what you did to that skin texture., Awesome
It took some work with DieTrying's morphs, because the eyebrow started really spread out and crazy, so had to tighten it up a little.
Peek a boo http://fav.me/d9emszt
So, again, swapping things around... Felicity skin on G2M, African for Genesis morphs transferred to G2M plus ethnics for G2M, aging morphs, omri hair, unshaven 2, and this and that.
L'Adair
For posts with images you could do what I did above.
.
Bad idea if you have limited bandwidth, and browse sites with many pictures. In the actual context it would probably also mean downloading other pictures again when going back through the pages to find the missing picture.

Things are heating up...
Tried out a terrain from Infinito 1.1. It is the foreground in this with a grass shader added. The background is the skydome from Snowy Mountains, I think, I started a new render and can't look ATM
Click on image for full size.
The background is FMSkysphere. I added some clouds from Stonemason's Winter Terrains as mist to see how it would work. Took the render time up from three hours to seven
Iray, CPU only.

Another application of Felicity skin, this time G2F (as intended).
Again, enjoying GenX2 to get 'ethnics for Genesis' over to G2F (though I also added a little Saba and Wefa from Ethnics for G2F)
HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Smiling horse!
BIG SMILE
Pick Up a new G2f character today. I really love how much meat she has on her. and the skin texture is killer. I'm tying to get as much as I can out of my wishlist before daz goes to Daz Connect with version 4.9 because I'm not going with it. So anyway this is Natasha for Genesis 2 Female My new fav girl
(you really got see how great she looks all natural .( Front) (Back) she is really beautiful . )
