@Totte number ?? (and you didn't add it to the Entries thread by the way) - I love your bling-polisher idea, nice render too
@Luci45 #5 (and yours isn't in the Entries threads either) - hey, that's my friend's father, he did a lot of buying and selling (never out of the auction house)! Nice idea, nice render, cluttered house!
@Linwelly #3 - ooh, that sounds like a risky place to work! Clever use of the egg.

Sorry, I'll fix, I just sneaked a little time to render, been having too much work past weeks. Today It's midsummer here, holiday, so I slept like 13 hours, which is probably a symptom of too little sleep. I'll fix when Back from the cottage.

Thanks, MelanieL. I forgot a couple of them. They're up there now. LOL, that occupation really isn't really that unlikely, especially with EBay. It just seems funny to me. Will have to put my crazy cap back on for the next one... ;-P

Jealous of time at the cottage! And that's okay, I originally forgot to specify in my title how my image was an unlikely occupation. I think I left my brain in my car...

    ...that's great.

Reminds me of the dilemma an old Mad Magazine parody of Popular Mechanics back in the 60s posed, where one of the project articles was to build a full scale 4 engine StratoJet Airliner (using tin cans and canister vacuums for the engines) in your basement.

Now how I can remember that but not where I put my glasses down when I went the the kitchen to make dinner is frightening.

ummmm.... pop! fizzle! dead computer. i ve got enough runtime finally reloaded to do the first draw.... soon...
meanwhile here s what i ve missed

Diomede #1 I wonder if she could adjust the food to eliminate the hippo breath she has to breathe in. the hippo does look like it s appreciative for the tooth cleaning that she gives it.
#2 If they go electric they could give Deathclock a run for their money. an up and coming band venue concept! Good ones!

Totte #1 this reminds me of wheelbarrow races in the cub scouts. and making practical use of all the face plants that happen naturally
#2 crimes against the machines! i guess he doesn t have to worry about them parting him out for his organs.
#3 nothings too good for a warhorse! i guess the customers expect you to wear that trademark hat though. but you can charge them extra for it
#4 that would be a creepy place to work. I think she needs track shoes... just in case... they may not move fast but take no chances.
#5 Those 2 going up the stairs are sparkling. Maybe she needs a little caffeine too. Nicely done!

Luci45 #1 that underground world contains enough characters to make the Mad Woman of Chaillot happy
#2 the clean up after all these animals must be really grotty. that dude wrestling the swan will definitely need a change of clothes.
#3 Love your crowd scenes with all the people interaction! And that old man must be 25 years old with the way the cleanser is wrecking havoc with his immune system.
#4 So that s what they dug up when they excavated the parking lot at the Hollywood Bowl. I thought that they were looking for buried mexican gold. But the lighting still came out great!
#5 With all his purchases i m thinking that he s in need of a basket for his walker. He doesn t want to be carrying all that stuff around without help.
#6 You mean those guys get to break down whatever walls they feel like it as long as they have someone rebuild it afterward? And someone thanks them for it?? Well done!

Karibou #1 i hope that shaman doesn t decide to go crowd surfing because i really don t think anyone will try to catch him. like the depth and shadows you got in your image.
#2 Cover Up meets Rat Patrol. It ll make a great reality show. Maybe better than the pickers.
#3 It s so hard to book pubic campgrounds exclusively... and when the shooting starts you don t want to be anywhere but at the campfire... it just isn t safe. Maybe she could paint dia de los muertos murals on their cars without them noticing. Nicely done!

MorganRLewis #1 ah! quiet times behind the scenes of a photoshoot. maybe if she uses a little body paint no one will notice that she s naked.
#2, and the stale doughnuts make a practical test for the functioning of the gaunlets. if the gauntlets can deflect the thrown doughnuts then they pass inspection! Good ones!

Emsim #1 and when it comes to selling to the 3 blind mice all she has to have is a good story and they ll buy anything. Cute, even the precursor to the next Disney movie. Well done!

Zawarkal #1 that would make a great poster! Telling a story with vivid color!!

Linwelly #1 He s doing James T Kirks interpretation of Rocketman from the academy awards! And he s even improved on it!
#2 Ah... the old exploding beach volleyball trick... it wouldn t hurt those students to give them a little of what they ll be giving out to others.
#3 At the captured moment the job looks cute, but i bet that all the mopping up of the broken egg shells would make the job a... JOB! Good ones!

Barbult #1 but when the temperature s in the triple digits the customers would appreciate a good dunking. the bottom of that pool is really mucky... so maybe he s found his place at last! Well done!

MelanieL #1 and with so many cases of space helmet hair he should make a killing... follow the money. and how WOULD you get a cowlick to stay down without gravity
#2 I vote for using the music to charm her. As long as she doesn t start thinking... i wonder if he would really taste like chicken. Nicely done!

...after tomorrow night my Net access most likely will be pop fizzle dead as I didn't have the funds to pay (support cheque hasn't shown yet) As I already requested one extension don't think they'll give me another. . Going to have to pay all sorts of extra charges to get reconnected. So looks like this one will be a miss.

..bugger and I really like the theme.

    ...I hat financial woes.

    ..thank you.

The only way it will be truly behind me is if my SSI Disability claim goes though (and that won't be a lot but at least it will be steady and will qualify me for 30% low income housing) or I win the Megabucks lotto.

Been trying to make some extra cash with all this 3D stuff but I'm a lousy salesperson. Basically, I need an agent.

Hi, I'm new here but I love the creations I have seen in this thread and I love the idea of randomly pulling some items and then creating something with them. So I thought I'd try it as well. I have finally finished creating that spread sheet of my product library and pulled these following items

    139 - Genesis Aging Morphs
    429 - Orion Hair
401 - Artemesia Gown for G2F (seems to be gone from the shop)
    464 - Nimue Hair

I am not good at funny so I didn't even try.

    Title: NVIATWAS Exterminator
Jim could always count on a steady stream of work because the horses were useless against the vermin and everyone knew the swords were just for show...

Btw -- if you didn't already know, "NVIATWAS" is an age-old acronym for the standard "Naked Vicky in A Temple with A Sword" renders that have long been a staple of Poser and DAZ artists.

@Luci45 #6 - nice one, the movers seem a bit in awe of that construction, we must be seeing just the tip of that iceberg!
@gopherus - What an expression! And just my idea of what the entwives should have looked like. And thanks for your comments, I hope the serpenta is charmed not peckish :)
@selias19 #1 - great start to your RRRR career (it's so addictive you'll be here forever :) ) I find serious pretty difficult myself :red:
@Karibou #4 - she looks pretty wary of that spider for a big strong girl like her! I like the man's company logo. And you actually got to pull the Caribou - I'm looking forward to seeing her with that long hair.... not sure it'll suit the Hookah Cat.

Linwelly #3 Oooh, another RRRR jewel! Great use of your pull. So strange.
Karibou #3 Oh so weird. Something here about life imitating art, or art imitating life... I like this one a lot but it is appalling.
MelanieL#2 Hehe, so funny and goofy as pests, unlike the monsters in DAZ promos.
gopherus, I'm glad you're back! I was missing your wack renders. Sorry about the dead computer. #1 And we a get a poem! OMG, so bizarre! I love it, especially the expressions and poses.
selias19 #1 Welcome! Nice first RRRR render! Funny happens on its own sometimes with the strange pulls we get. You got a really tame one this time.
Karibou #4 LOL, poor Vicki, you blew her cover!

Thank you, everyone, for the wonderful comments! I realized I was getting backed up on mine again, so here I go with another batch!

luci45 #4, The Alien Artifacts Excavator: The lighting and use of the effects camera is awesome! And your hole in the ground is ridiculously real-looking. I was curious how you were going to incorporate the "wheel excavator" and "A Thousand and Two Nights" together, and I was not disappointed by the results!
Totte#5, Nobel Dinner Bling Polisher: Clever! I think we have one of those in my kitchen. We use it to keep the children shiny. (Just kidding. I'd never electroplate my children. Much.) Btw, just had to tell you that last week they repaved the road in front of where I teach. When I was walking back to my car, I saw a guy repainting the lines in the road with a device that looked disturbingly similar to "John the hair-brush!" I almost snapped a picture of the guy, but it's a busy street and it would have looked weird for me to be taking pictures of random road-maintenance workers.
luci45#5, Independent Goods Broker: First of all, I'm trying to keep up with your render-output velocity, but I'm embarassingly falling short. You put together those seamless renders so darn fast! I like this one a lot. So much to look at. And that IS quite a snazzy jacket!
Linwelly #3, Breeding Facility Technical Assistant for alternative reality species: AWESOME use of that egg! I like the fact that they're in white, matching outfits -- like futuristic scifi babe lab uniforms, lol!
MelanieL#2, Supernatural Pest Controller: I really did "lol" when I saw the axe-wielding "pest controllers" in the background, pummeling the evil Serpenta into submission! (Nice wardrobe choices on your serpent-ladies, btw. Hard to find clothes when your lower half is a snake.) Very fun!!
luci45 #6, WallBusters and Restore: Now THERE is a career. Not everyone can walk into work in the morning with dynamite in one hand and a sledgehammer in the other! Love the Gibbs inspiration, too!
Gopherus #01, The Wood Fairy Lumberjack: Oh, dear. That WOULD be an unlikely occupation! (Kind of like a cow who works at a burger joint...) Very fun! And I love the poetry that goes with it!
selias19 #1, Keeper of the Fountain of Health: Welcome! It's always nice to see new faces! Awesome posing in your image. I'm with KK on this -- I'm on the "slightly broken and feeble" scale, so it would be wonderful if such a place existed. Wonderful first entry! :)

    Peaceful Times
When at last the world became a friendlier place, hitman Big Jack Wooten found himself out of work. He received a good price for his rare gold-plated Mk 15 (presented to him by Her Majesty in the previous century) from Armament Conversion Agent Mimi Woo. When utilitarian purposes weren't found for former weapons in the "Swords into Plowshares" program, they were converted to sculptural monuments by eager artisans.

@Karibou #4 Swords and horses may be impractical for commercial purposes but they do give a great personal satisfaction of actually removing the vermin mano a tenticle. Good one!

@Luci45 #7 Aha! Another unique sculpture for one of your many museums. And Jack shouldn t worry about employment he can be a consultant for hollywood period pieces of the now passed ages of Taurus and Pisces. Well done!

    Kermit the Mime: Hog Caller

Kermit s audition for Casablanca's Got Talent was a total dud. Perhaps the judges didn t feel that the summoning of an unclean animal was a fit subject for entertainment. Although even Simon was underwhelmed by Kermit s lack of results.

Ok, before I make myself sparse for some weeks with a limited internet access I want to thank everyone for the nice comments on my third render.

Karibou#3: those cars can be sacry at times, but I'm shure they only wanted those tires back.
MelanieL#2: haha, good thinking of trying to lull her with a flute, oh but the poor thing in the back, she needs aome musik as well. great Idea!
Lucy45#6: when they are finished, can you send them over to my house? Gread how you managed o get everything to a useful place.
Gopherus#1 Love that wood, and the expressions are great.
Karibou#4 well that something NVIATWAS Exterminator, we all might profit from that some day, love the logo thingy.
Lucy45#7 (7 already? I wan't a part of your brain please?) The poor Hitman looks a bit lost there, your gotta have pitty, maybe he shoud change to pest control, there seems to be a lot of work where he could use his skills. great scene!
Gopherus#2: that miss piggy there has a great expression, and those judges in the back are hilarious.

Great things! I'll be very interested to see what you will come up with in the meantime.

Thank you, everyone, for the wonderful comments! I realized I was getting backed up on mine again, so here I go with another batch!

Haha - lol, maybe John had called in sick so they just his body-double ;-)

    Thanks, gopherus and Linwelly.

    Here is my #8:

    See The Sun (Rendo)
    Dystopian Aircar Aeronica V18
    Culture for Urban Wear
Victoria 4 Skin Maps (High Res) (LB)

The LBs are making me (more) nuts, but I'll admit I've been pretty lucky so far about not pulling multiple environments.

Wow! I didn't realize it's been almost a month since I last posted. I'm almost done with my second entry. I spent some time catching up on everyone's entries. Lots of fun entries and great ideas... of occupations I don't ever want to have! :-P

Thank you to everyone who commented on my first entry!

Luci45 #3: I love the stories you tell. There's so much going on in this one. Kudos to Reggie for carrying on the poofy pants tradition!
Diomede #2: Cool image! The transformers will have their own soundtrack no matter where they go.
Zawarkal #1: Such a vibrant image. I hope they get that portal fixed soon!
Linwelly #1: Welcome! Great expressions in this one. I guess the captain's not a karaoke fan.
Morgan R. Lewis #1: This is great! Kind of reminds me of the Monty Python cheese shop sketch - Gauntlet Hut is completely uncontaminated by gauntlets!
Barbult #1: Yay! Muck is back! But still having job troubles. There is so much that is fun in this picture. Great job!
Linwelly #2: Talk about a serious pass or fail system!
Luci45 #4: I'm sorry that this one was so much trouble for you but it turned out really well.
Totte #4: Seems psych problems are not limited to the living. There's a job I wouldn't want for sure!
MelanieL #1: And now we know why his salon is mobile! Great expressions.
Karibou #1: There's an interested job to put on your resume. (And I hope nothing else breaks for you!)
Karibou #2: I didn't realize competition was so stiff in that genre of photography! Love the point of view.
Totte #5: Great idea! She should move to Hollywood - she'd have no end of bling to polish there!
Luci45 #5: Grandpa sure has an eye for the deals! At least he's keeping busy.
Linwelly #3: That looks like a scary place to work! Cool idea though!
Karibou #3: Poor Emily - nothing like a bunch of gun-toting rambunctious guys to ruin a celebration.
Melanie #2: That pest charmer is really brave to get that close to that Serpenta. Nice action in the background too!
Luci45 #6: Add another guy to the poor planners club! Looks like these guys have quite a job ahead of them.
gopherus #1: I love the poem. Poor fairy looks like she'll be traumatized for life by this.
selias19: Welcome! This is nicely done. I wish we had one of those fountains near us!
Karibou #4: I love this - especially her expression. I'm pretty sure that's what I'd look like if a spider that size came toward me.
Luci45 #7: Another great image. Poor Jack - I hope he can find work in the new peaceful world.
gopherus #2: I don't even know where to start to describe how hilarious this one is to me!
Linwelly #4: That turret gunner is in for a rough day! Great idea!

I hope I didn't miss anyone - my fingers are tired from typing!
