"O" another note, he was the narrator of many documentaries that I had watched as a youngster.

    An incredible talent he was.

Very sad. This man was a giant in his field and he always brought total conviction to all his roles. He will be missed.

    Alex.

Before Star Trek he was in a 1963 episode of Perry Mason "The Case of the Decadent Dean". Just happened to catch it last night on "ME"-TV (ME = Memory Entertainment)

Was watching TV earlier tonight and they had a Leonard Nimoy Tribute showing of the first Star Trek movie and I guessed that something had happened when you see the word tribute.. And now I know that he had passed away, is a sad day indeed.. :(

The SyFy Channel seems to have altered today's scheduled programming to show Star Trek films, for obvious reasons of course.

In the 80's, there was a dance song with his voice from Star Trek dubbed in, where he would say "pure energy" from time to time. I need to find that song...

That's amazing! And Information Society is apparently still playing music!

He also narrated an old version of the Civilization game. Loved it!
