See, this was why having that PC+ info at the start of the banner used to be so useful - the arrow didn't affect that one in any significant way.
Perhaps they would move the Weekly Freebies one to that end of the banner - that one is very popular these days!
I definitely remember Jack saying that it was a temp measure to have placed the PC+ info at the other end of the banner, and it would change back at a future date. I really do not have the time to search out the actual post.
trying to purchase from the uk the daz site just hasnt worked so far today- I ve tried 4 times today (from 9.30 to 1.30 uk time) and every purchase fails with the hand over from paypal to daz not responding then time out. Mornings have been really bad recently whether it be download speeds or failure to purchase
I remember it too, Chohole. I looked a little, but didn't find it. I thought I recalled which thread it was in, though it seems I must have been mistaken about that part.
It's not working particularly well in the States, either. Exactly the same troubles. Hope they can get it straightened out / sorted soonest!

Going to give them another hour, and hope it's working better then.
It was here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/5242531/#Comment_5242531
Yes failed and without any error messarge or anything.
Trying to purchase is insanely painful today!!! I keep getting logged out, have to push the "add to cart" button numerous times to then wait and wait, can't get to cart... etc. Finally got a Cloudflare error pointing to the Daz site being the problem for what it is worth. Will come back and try again later.
Same here. Trying to post in the forum has been rediculous. Repeatedly signed out from the forums.
Hopefully it's been cleared up now.
$2.20 items are not discounting for me. In cart, currently showing no discount at all. :( Will try later. Thanks!
I'm currently staring at a cart of PC+ for the Day items (specifically five of them if that's an issue) that are all sitting staunchly at $12.95 and won't discount to $2.20.
This also seems to apply if a featured new release is added (but the new release does get the additional 20% discount promised on the sale page).
They did discount when I added them earlier (with or without new release), but now won't. I have checked that my PC+ subscription is still active (as I know that's sometimes a problem).
EDIT: ... actually, no - I've refreshed again, and they're all now showing no discount whatsoever, all at their original prices.
It was okay for me about half an hour ago, until you made me look. Now they're all full price.
Same problem here. Did you add anything else to the cart before the price glitch? Because I did, then took that item out when the $2.20 items all jumped to $12.95. Then I did the log out/clear cache/log in dance and my cart lost all discounts so I emptied it. Just tried putting in a $2.20 item again but still no discount, it's priced at $22.95 now.
I posted the following information in the "What's going on in the store thread?" because for quite a while I was unable to add items to my cart or had to try many times, but now I think this thread is more relevant. A little while ago the total of my cart jumped from $32.02 to $85.78 without me having made any changes to the contents! All the items that were supposed to cost $2.20 instead cost $12.95 (and yes, I am logged in and my PC Club membership is still valid). Soon afterward I refreshed my cart and suddently the total increased again, now to $95.78, with the $2.20 items costing up to 18.95! But while writing this posting the total returned to $32.02, so I guess I need to check out quickly before the prices changes again. Thank you, Daz, for fixing the bug, and I hope it stays fixed.
Yup, all good again.
It finally worked! Thanks to all who fixed it.
Looks good now. Excellent!
Not directly related to any current sale, but while searching the store, I noticed that https://www.daz3d.com/karl-hd-for-landon-8 is listed as "Compatible Figures: Genesis 8 Female", which isn't going to help people find him in the store.
Thanks, reporting
True, but if that's how Karl feels about her own gender identity, we should probably respect that.
It's referring to the movie Fight Club. The first rule of Fight Club is that you don't talk about Fight Club... So apparently Daz is now a secret illegal and violent club lol. See the movie, it's actually really good!
My personal opinion is CloudFlare error messages never indicate the problem is on their end. I find that suspect. Seems like they point the finger to the client site, regardless of what is going on. And who's to know the difference? I've spent too many years in the industry to accept any online service is flawless…
Yea, I've been thinking the same. Maybe DAZ should give Fastly a try and see how that works.
I received an e-mail from DAZ entitled "Don't miss out! Celebrate 20 Years of Daz" advertising 20 items for $2.20 each.
The e-mail was deceptive, in that when I got to the DAZ web site, there it said that the special price was for 'PC+members only'. While I am a loyal customer of DAZ I'm NOT a member of PC+.
I would have preferred that the e-mail clearly state that the special proce was ONLY for PC+ members.
Take a few minutes to lodge that complaint via the Contact Us trouble ticket system. (Make sure you are logged in first.) Otherwise, the decision makers at Daz will never see it. I think they need to know how you feel when their marketing leaves you feeling angry or alienated. I honestly believe that was not their intent, but they can't get better if they aren't told when the advertising falls short.
it sure would be easy enough to say PC+ members only, and maybe even offer up a discount to join PC+ for the 1st time.
The offer actually contains a discount on PC+ memberships:
PC+ Memberships 20% OFF
Today's PC+ items for a day are yesterday's PC+ items for a day, which makes them PC+ items for TWO days, doesn't it?
*yawn*
