Some items are not included in the 50% offer, mainly if they are part of some other offer.

I didn't se a link, but if you sort by % off, they should be all clumped together. If you can turn off the PC+ items (I think that's part of Ati's plug in) they pop up fairly quickly. It's certainly better than clicking on each PA name.

This item is no longer new, but isn't at 50% off and I think it should qualify. Any chance to give it a kick?

The weekend sale is not a storewide discount - it only affects about half of items in the store.

I understand that, but this is the only non-new item in their catalog not on sale. Not a huge concern, though, as the title of this thread reminds us...

Yep, this is how I search for them, and I'm crying... So many items... :D

Thanks, I'll give that a shot

i really feel which this new weekend sales was really pretty weak and bad compared with others much better sales, even the previous sales was better we get a overal 60% discount in almost everything from PA now it was down to 50 and to go back to "60" you need to buy "extra things", it's really in my book one of the wors, when in others previous sales we get easy 70% and even 80% discounts.

In another note how much months are needed for a product stop to be "labeled "new" and can go "sales regular discounts"?????, like 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 months???.

Items are new for 60 days.

As for buying a new item, if you're a PC+ member, then even a $2 PC+ item qualifies, so not that much extra there.

Yes, if I add one it goes from 50% to 60%.

Unless by "extra 20%" they are referring to a dicount applied _after_ the 50%? I assumed it was an extra 20% off the original price...?

If you figure it it that way it still comes out the same; recall the "Commutative Rule of Multiplication" from school... smiley

Well, no. Extra 20% off original price is -x*0.50 - x*0.20. Example: $100, 50% off is $50, extra %20 off original price is $20, i.e price is $30. 20% off the discounted price is 20% off $50, i.e. $10, so price is $40.

Anyway, no biggie, I know how it works now. Maybe it's an American thing, to me it seems an odd way of doing things, and it's not  the convention where I live. They could avoid confusion though by just saying you get 60% off instead of 50% with purchase of a new item.

Nobody figures it that way here; if they took 20% off of $100 it would be $80, and another 50% off that would be $40.    I t would be nice if they would just just give the total percent off, tho'....

But that total percentage is different for different people. If you're a PC+ member, you have an additional 30% off on DO, and your final price on DO items is less than someone else's, who is not PC+.

True indeed, bot none of the Do\ items on my WL seem to be included in this 50% off sale.  A bit of math would result in a total for PC members for DOs that they could list, which would aldso highlight the savings from going Platinum...

    It's this: https://www.daz3d.com/weekend-long-pa-items

(If you click on any PA in the long list, it takes you to that page with just that one PA selected. Instead of my link, you could just click on any PA in the sale then "Clear All" filters.)

I had one DO in the sale. Ended up being cheaper than $6, so no coupon used on that one... :D

Anyway, the non-PC and PC members are just two groups of people. There are the PAs, who, to the best of my knowledge, have a third set of prices; and who knows how many other groups there are that we don't even know about. Saying "extra 20% off" is the safest way to include everyone, and then everyone can make their own calculations, based on which group they belong to.

With that said, I do agree that sometimes it can get confusing, and not even just for new people.

Select any of the individual PAs in the sale, it will take you to a page for the 50% off sale with just that PA's name checked. Uncheck the PA's name in the dropdown box at far left, and you should see all of the items in the sale that you don't already own.

Items show as 72% discount on the product page but are only 36% off in cart.

I also have a new item in the cart which should add an additional 20% discount.

The Teen Jane addons aren’t getting the extra 30% off anymore and the extra 20% off 50% weekend sale no longer works

I'm seeing the the 30% off on Jane addons, still checking the other.

  • Cris PalominoCris Palomino Posts: 12,440

And I'm seeing the extra 20%.

  • dracorndracorn Posts: 2,353

And I'm seeing the extra 20%.

I see that it's working for my other items.  Just wondering what's up with Shady Vale.

  • WonderlandWonderland Posts: 7,133

The addons mostly only 50% off and another item that was 50% off lost its 20% discount. My cart doubled then went to over $15 more than it was at 9:15 Pacific time

First, are you expecting this to be part of the 50% sale? These items are already discounted, so not eligible.

  • Cris PalominoCris Palomino Posts: 12,440

Dracorn, I still get the same discount in the cart as on the page.

Several discounts do not work properly at the moment. Especially the Teen Jane AddOns show up in the cart at 51% default discount whereas I have more four of them is the cart so they should be discounted 66% instead. Have to wait until this is sorted out before checkout.

  • WonderlandWonderland Posts: 7,133

And this shows $10.62 in cart with new items even though the price is different on the sale page.

Dracorn, I still get the same discount in the cart as on the page.

I took them out of my cart and re-added them, and they are still showing at a lower discount than on the product page.

And I know they are not part of the 50% sale.

  • Cris PalominoCris Palomino Posts: 12,440

I'm trying to see if I can find another mod to take a look as the discounts/prices are all showing as they should for me. I'm also using a different browser without logging in. It's all showing correctly. You've all tried the normal trouble shooting?

This is what I have done so far:

Tried it in Edge and Chrome - same problem for each.

Removed the 2 items from my cart and re-added them.  No change.

Removed the 2 items, exited both browsers then went back to Chrome and re-added them.  Still no change.

[EDIT]:  I logged out of both browsers and added the items.  They show as 60% off on both the product page and the cart.  However, when I log back in, they are still showing as 30%.

    Anything else I can do?
