circle under the character's feet

Hi,

I am making a figure with DS 4, and suddenly this round circle thing appeared under the feet, if I delete it, my character will disappear. What is this and how may I get rid of it?

    It is the Animate Tool so select another Translation tool and it will disappear and leave you to do your work.
