The coupons used to work with fastgrab items, didn't they?
I am sure I have used the coupons in the past on FG items, so if they do not work now, it is likely they applied a new rule.
I retried it on a non FG item item and it worked on thaat; so, I may have done something wrong the first time. Sorry.
Hmm. More Second Circle girls in fast grab is very tempting... On one hand, the skin textures are amazing and the shapes are nice. On the other hand, they're still pretty generic white girls, of which I have many. (SC's newest girl, Rain, breaks this trend, which is why I already have her). It'd be nice if SC put a bit more variety into the eyes though - about a 3rd of them have the same distinctive squigel in the blood vessel patterns. More evident in the 10 girls she has at Rendo.
The castle is a given at least. I've been eying that since it came out.
The coupon now appears to be fixed and works on FG items as well as non-FG items.

yeh worked for me, but 3 cents short on what i needed for the three was considering, so decided not to bother.
If you kick in a $1.99 PC item with those three it would be over $18 and then work.
There isn't one i want; i never buy something I don't want unless the price ends up cheaper; if I did that i would have to part with more cash - as ever, I can wait.

I've rendered them over in my product showcase Art Studio thread in the past couple hours, if you want to pop in there and take a look. Doing Joy right now. BTW, in the first post of my thread, I announced for this one we would do your top three (up to five) favorite products that you have RENDERED each month. There's a $5 gift card drawing tossed in for fun. You don't have to have bought the items this month, just rendered them. It really sucks that promos are phased out without any scheme one can plan with. Thought there would be still time to do the Gift Card deal as there were two promos launched before still active. Now DAZ ended all three of them (Muscle Car, Astrid, Gift Card) at once. OK then, no purchase from my side or in other words...

Yeah, I thought we had another day to do the Astrid deal. Was waiting for this thing called payday. I don't know if DAZ has heard of it, LOL. I can't believe they ended that many sales so suddenly. Let's hope that's a glitch too.

We should all be saving up for March Madness, anyway.
Although, last year I don't think I bought too many stuff during that sale. I don't remember why.
After all the buildup we gave it, March Madness wasn't that amazing. It's a nice enough sale, but PC+ and then especially the holiday sale were the real stars.
I am also not expecting a sale as good as the ones we had at the back end of last year, but we will see. If I recall, last years MM sale was a relatively simple affair, in so much that all items, new and old, were often at a fairly straight discount, without all the punch card are other sale games. I personally quite like the sales games (albeit not the punch card ones, as they only help the bulk buyers), however I know many others prefer simplier sales. As such I did not buy that much in the first part of MM last year, although things got more interesting later as some very good offers cropped up that persuaded me to prise open the wallet.
In my short time here the one thing i've learned about "event" sales is to wait until the catchup day, then hit that checkout button like Thor swinging his hammer.
Catchup sales don't always offer the same advantages. It depends on the actual sale itself.
I've cut back my spending, like many others have mentioned here in this thread (or maybe other threads?) due to having overspent for several months in a row during last years back to back sales. I seem to remember not being so excited by last years MM sale, but maybe this last bout indicates that they are willing to go back to some of those bigger deals to bring more money in. I just hope we don't see MM introduce a lot of connect only content.
I loved the PA and PC+ sales, they were incredible. I bought and saved a ton (and spent plenty too.) That BYOB on the older stuff was fantastic. I figured I could always reshade those items later. I can't even remember everything I bought from that sale. The Christmas one was insanely good, but some of that was the crazy glitches, LOL.
The best non-glitch sale I recall was in Jan 2008, where there was a different selection of DO items available each day for the PC Club price of $1.99 to members.
The poll sales were a lot of fun, too, but I guess they were too labor intensive for the staff...
The Sci-Fi Construction Kit today looks like a pretty good deal...! (edit: for PC+ members) Anyone have any suggestions on what I could pair it with if I want to use my DO coupon?
There is no minimum to use the Platclub coupon for DOs; so you should be able to use it without pairing.

I looked at what I bought last March, and I think it was very scattered on discounts. One order- I got 27 things totaling $325.07 MINUS $216.94 for a total of $108.13. That's $4 each. NONE of it was PC+ or ancient cheapie items, it was characters, (Drucilla Lilith 6, Fei Yen for Mei Lin 6, Nabila for V6, etc) Amazing Skins, Fantasy Eyes, Wet Body Iray, Growing Up for Genesis 3- you get the idea. There were a few other days that were 55-60% the entire order, I didn't buy much, which tells me it was older items which I probably had. Looking at other days, 40%- 50%. So my shopping pattern was spending more on three days, then only a few other things, scattered throughout. I, too, had a feeling it wasn't up to the hype for me, but wanted to check my orders before making that statement.
If MM this year is like that (after the recent sales which were quite good) it's going to be a great time to save money. (if you already have a lot of stuff. The orders showed me it featured vendors, as usual, so if you don't have a specific vendor you can probably stock up at 50-60% off on certain days. I didn't see any new patterns.)

My wishlist has 380 items in it. I'd been checking it daily for a couple of weeks, seeing some items go on sale and some go off, but it stayed relatively consistent around 40-50 items, from different vendors and not tied to theme or vendor sales from what I could see with the most common discount being 40% off.
At midnight, I got paid through direct deposit.
This morning I checked in again and all but 8 sale items had gone off sale with no other connection besides today's date.
I won't refuse to buy items that aren't on sale but this seems…arbitrary?
Edit: I hadn't taken into account the possibility that a much larger sale is about to occur, and that the individual sales could be being retracted before the newer (e.g. bundle) sale went into effect. I'll try to do less Chicken Little, apologies.
Save the Money and wait for March madness. If last year is a valid lead, at least for newer stuff you get pretty good rebates. There might be one or multiple "enablers" later this month that you can buy for additional additional % during March madness. (I belive Last year it was the Last Daz Pro Bundle that was published in Feb) If you plan to buy mor then a few items this is normaly a very good deal.
past a certain delay, you got already many assets and you can afford playing the "wait next big sale" game. As a bonus, while you're waiting, things/items at DAz are becoming "older" and soon are elligible for big sales
that is now the policy I'm stuck to. I wont spend big bucks for something new. no need. no hurry. And with so many things that i already have and didn't touch/render yet, I can do pretty much what I want until next sale...
