    I fixed a similar problem in DS3 by using the 'Remove From Category' option in Unassigned. Don't know if that'll work for you, but if you haven't tried it, it's worth a shot.

    What version of DS4? I recall this happening in the early releases, but not since 4.0.3.xx

    Actually, my bug report isn't showing as fixed: https://bugs.daz3d.com/view.php?id=42270

    Is the category you're moving it to empty except for that item? If it is, try categorizing it to a category that isn't empty. If that doesn't work, could you add a note to the bug report?
