Once again, a costume I can't seem to figure out how to label to see if I can find it. Maybe it's not a DAZ product? It looks a lot like some of the old AerySoul items which is why it caught my eye. I'm always looking for interesting fantasy armors. If you can help, thank you in advance. Oh yeah, and I mean the fantasy armor in the main promo. Also the armor in the second blonde promo.

The idea is that you can assign Studio custom actions for keys on the Stream Deck, then execute with the push of a button.

It does copy the face texture into the SB temp folder but the blending doesn't happen, any idea why ?

In short what is the best way to either light or otherwise break the dark skin figures from a background? Especially if the background or set is dark.

 Can someone refer me to that old thread? Maybe I can get some ideas from that. Or perhaps some favorite art works, e9ither photographic or graphic media.

One of the promos is just the hair pins. Another promo shows some other options for the hair too though that's less clear what was meant to be there. Not included in the 'What's Included and Features' nor any mention in the Documentation Center File List. Guess this is another product that has been split after the promos were done and the hair and pins will follow, or maybe I'm getting old and cynical.

Edit - This might not now make sense to people who are looking at the page post correction. The original page had 5 promos with the hair and hair pins being prominent. The page has since been updated after Richard raised a query.

[EDIT] I just checked the product description and it says, I quote: 

Between Chest, Body, Belly, Arm, Leg, and Shin Fur in astounding materials, you have everything you need to make your very hairy character. 

 

 Everything I need? I don't think so. You might argue that those areas are not specifically mentioned  but then Body, Belly, Arm ought to include the missing bits, right?

The only reference to 8.1 is a material preset for eyelashes (which just mangle the current eyelashes)

I have long ago seen a really beautiful dress. But in the store I only found similar dresses and not exactly this one. So I would like to ask if the artists and professionals could take care of my wish and "provide" me exactly this dress.

However, it is missing something I've been frantically searching for lately, namely the haori necessary to create montsuki haori hakama (not shown in the picture are the haori himo, cords used to hold the haori closed):

I've been in desperate need of the full set. Does anyone know if there's a haori for G8/8.1 males already available somewhere (I'll look at G3 also though I think the sleeves may be more of an issue than in tighter garments)? A thigh-length garment would be ideal.

Or if there's a haori add-on or something planned for this I will happily buy it when it comes out.

I just really need montsuki haori hakama and have been having a bear of a time putting it together. Having everything but the haori for a generation later than Mil4 is certainly more progress than I'd made before, though. So, thank you, Arki! I am spared having to try to get that voluminous M4 stuff to fit and not look an absolute disaster. :)

It's almost pointless for me to list mine here—except possibly as a great example of what not to do.   But here it is:

COMPUTER: Late 2012 iMac, 21.5-inch.
PROCESSOR: 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5
MEMORY: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
GRAPHICS: nVidia GeForce GT 650M (built-in), 512 MB
OS: High Sierra 10.13.6
NVIDIA DRIVER: Web Driver 387.10.10.10.40.105 ("Up to date")
CUDA DRIVER: 418.163 ("No newer CUDA Driver available.")

I struggle. A lot. As far as I can tell, almost all of my renders (or all?) are done by the CPU, not the GPU. Then again, I've never really undrstood how to tell.

I hope Mac users will wade in here. Would love to hear from you and about your specs.

What's with this scene, why does it take so long to render?

It came as a default  with a huge lot of spot lights that I could remove without any notable differense to the image. And then I removed the background. But still it takes forever. 

Any brilliant ideas?
