Full disclosure: I'm still struggling with getting any kind of lighting right -- learning gradually, but by no means good, and I'm sure the ways I'm doing it aren't best/most efficient. But even when I'm using some really fantastically pre-lit sets (like Red Crow Inn!! And the hobbit hole sets!! I am in love!!)  I still run into issues with my non-fair-skinned (including blue) characters having their faces hard to see.  Sometimes moving a candle has solved it with those, but the other sets I'm just skunked. I've been trying to put strategic ghost light squares to good use, but often that generates weird shadows other places, which obviously is no good.

Is there something I'm missing? Some setting I don't even know about, or a product that will solve things? 

Will also happily watch YouTube videos if someone's made a good one.

Anyone knows how to best do this?

The first promo has the best bench I have ever seen.  There is a really pretty store front, as well.  Do any of you know where I can find the bench and the store front?

I have really looked hard to find this!  I have many, many benches in my runtime...I didn't realize I had collected so many!

Now I'm repurposing the external 8TB hard drive for DAZ Studio!

What are the phases? Are these for future Epic sales?...for the next four days or something?

So if you buy a new Epic item with an older item from one of the PA stores listed, you get an extra 30% off the new item, then 80% off up to 3 items from one of those PAs...but is the 80% off the items in the cart with the new item or is it for additional older items? And does "owning" a new Epic item mean you need to buy it separately and *then* add items from the PAs listed to get the 70% or 80%? Should you just put every old item you want in with a new one to get the maximum savings?

I'm not sure if this is the most appropriate section of the forum to post this in, but I wanted to raise something that’s been on my mind for a while now.

Over the many years I’ve been a member of the DAZ community, I’ve really enjoyed using DAZ Studio and regularly purchase digital assets from the Daz3D store. One thing I’ve noticed however, is that all product prices are shown in USD, regardless of the user's location.

As someone based in Australia, I’d find it incredibly helpful if there were an option to view prices on product pages (or at a minimum during checkout) in my local currency (AUD). It would make it much easier to quickly understand the actual cost of items without needing to manually convert prices or worry about fluctuating exchange rates and potential bank fees.

I know this is something other international storefronts support, and I believe it would improve the shopping experience for many users around the world.

I’m wondering if others in the community have felt the same?

I'm working on improving the composition of my 3D images in Daz Studio, and I recently came across a reference to a camera prop called Golden Rules Camera Prop v1.5 by Jaderail I'd really like to try it out.

From what I’ve found, the original file was hosted on ShareCG—but unfortunately, that site is shutting down, and the file no longer appears to be accessible. I believe it was still available fairly recently, as I found links to it in the January 2025 - Daz 3D New User Challenge - Composition, Instancing, & Duplication post, which was shared in the New User Contests and Events forum here on Daz 3D.

If anyone happens to have a copy of the prop or knows where I might still be able to find it, I’d really appreciate the help!

Today I see the same hair being used in a promo shot with skull cap showing, so is this the intended look?

It has been more than 30 days now so probably can't get refund if this is how it should look. Not that big of a deal because it was part of bundle that was 5.99 on that day so I don't know how that's even handled, I like the rest of the bundle and I really like the look of the hair but think it is pretty much unusable with the skull cap always visable if top of the head is in view.

If I remember corectly you can also see the skull cap from the side on some of the hair colors.
