I'm curious to know if these two are supposed to be directly equivalent counterparts with each other? Can one say that Feminine Touch is V5's "Girly Girls" and that Manly Men are Genesis' "Masculine Kick"? :)

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can't seem to get the DS mats to load for Stonemason's Urban Future in DS4 Pro.

I'm loading the model using the poser formats My Library, then swapping to my Daz Studio formats My Library, and clicking on the DS textures, but nothing happens. The model stays a uniform grey colour. I've double checked that the model is selected in the scene when I try to apply the mats as well.

Am I missing something here? Anyone else who has this able to check if it works for them?

Yet, when I checked out, I didn't have to enter any CC information...and the products (2 PC items and a freebie) are downloading as I type....

This is pretty scary. Just how DO you clear DAZ' record of your vital CC information? I simply don't trust them after this fiasco of a website.

For a while I sorta disappeared from 3D art, shortly after V4 came out. When I came back I learned about her, M4 and Genesis, and I had some various questions on them.

First, I remember getting something that would allow me to refit V3 hair to V4 -- at least I think it did, but I cannot seem to find it in my inventory anymore. Where can I find such refitters if they exist? Also, I have a lot of M3 hairs I want to give to M4 or even M3 hair to M4--any suggestions?

My second question had to do with Genesis. Can any clothing made for V4/M4 fit her? I'm under the impression from what I have observed, that Genesis can be made wonderfully into a guy, a woman or various creatures. If I do a lot of character art, I wonder if I should get her. I would like to, maybe, if all V4/M4 stuff fits her as well.

My third question: I have no experience creating things except from basic prims. I am interested in making clothing... where and how would I start? The only 3D program I have, however, is DAZ.... can you make clothing with it or do I need a wholly new product? And what would be both easy and best? I'm guessing Poser though i have had difficulty trying to learn that in the past, and unfortunately lost it when I broke my previous hard drive.

Also, I have clothing for either M4 or M3 I want to try fitting on V4 or V3... is there anything for that too?

I can only get if I go back to school in the fall as I would need a notebook for school. I can only go back to school in the fall if FAFsa approves the application I just turned in. (Do not know what fafsa is? it is a government thing to help people get college education)

And woops, there's the ethnicity morphs, on sale for for $7 (or the bundle for 13!) and i just bought it last weekend more expensively~

The 'suite' has been free 'for a limited time' for (from my best guess) 5 months - at least - possibly 6. I remember telling some of my 2D artist friends to download it back in February/March time frame - meeting my obligation to tell at least 2 people about the software that used to be in the conditions for installing. (Haven't read the terms of sale recently to see if that criteria still applies.)

I find it par for the course that after I pay for software, the package goes on sale for a deeper discount. That's the risk of being an 'early adapter' in the marketing game. Even seeing a previous version given away provides as a hook for new customers and giving an 'upgrade price' goes along with that game.

But to offer the current software (and then some) free for such a long time is rather a slap in the face since I consider myself a loyal customer.

The software became free well after my '30 day' period, so technically I have no grounds to ask for any 'refund' on my purchase. But DAZ has given the current version of 4.0 away for an unprecedented amount of time. I have less of an issue with Hexagon and Bryce. I got them at a discounted prices and still get took advantage of reduced price upgrades. But add those in and it starts to grate (even if I might have got them free because back at that time they truly were free for a short time frame).

Please, end the free giveaway and compensate those of us who bought the software, particularly Studio (like a 'loyalty coupon" good for 30 - 60 days? Seems only fair. And not to mention, there's a truth in advertising situation of having a perpetual 'going out of business sale'... limited time means a limited and reasonable time frame. Five to six months goes beyond the definition of reasonable time.

I have seen it used in renders - the 'horns' are shorter, more cone like, and don't stick up, are more horizontal.

Does anyone know of a style that fits that description?
