I purchased Siren Hair because the description said it was for Genesis and Victoria 4 and as I use Poser I thought I could use the Victoria 4 version but when I went to download the file I only had the following files available

I believe the trx file is for Genesis so where is the Victoria 4 version?

Reapplying textures help?

I am having issues when using 3D Bridge with photoshop and exporting the textures. It only applies the textures the first time I export them. I cannot make tweeks and re-export, as they never "show up." I have found this issue with manually editing the textures and them reselecting them, as well.

Is there a way I can have my textures that I am working on update more than once?

I was just looking at my wishlist and noticed that the Millenium Subdragon has been reduced again. I think last time I checked it was $27, now it's a totally freakin' awesome $14!

Any idea on how long it's going to be at that price? I'm a bit strapped for cash at the moment, but I'd be off my chump not to buy it at that price if possible.

Hello! Still trying to understand Genesis and all its magnificence with DS4.

Im looking at morphing the Genesis figure so I can a variety of characters in my scene, so looking at these guys:

- is Michael 3 compatible with Genesis?

I see that I can purchase Victoria 5, which is a Genesis figure:

What about a Micheal (or just a male) figure? Or can I use Victoria 5 and make her a masculine figure?

..so Im wondering if Genesis is compatible with backward models such as Micheal 3? Or do you have to purchase Victoria/Micheal models that are compatible with Genesis?

for a reset..
This new platform is confusing , and I haven't gotten use to it yet..

Genesis for Poser?

Is there a Genesis figure available for Poser?
Reason I ask is that I much prefer Poser over DAZ Studio.
I create motion sequences for various DAZ characters and
Poser is far easier and better for working with posing and key framing.
I need to be able to import mocap bvh files into Poser onto a Genesis character
for editing and cleaning up and saving as a .pz2.
Ive looked but cant find anything.
Any help appreciated

There used to be a page to download updates ,and when i tried to download the update for hexagon,i ended up with the free version ,and it rejected my serial..

i came here and found a working serial for the free version

so now i have 3 copies of hexagon ,one i bought from daz....one that came with the "figures,characters book" ..and now the free one

so i am worried about trying to update my copy of daz studio,since the only download i saw was the free one..the same for bryce.

123D Catch - 3D models from your own photos!

I have been blown away recently by 123D Catch by Autodesk - and it's free! I first came across it on the iPad. You take a series of photos from different angles of an object - it can be anything from a small toy to a complete building, including images of people if they keep still long enough - and those then get sent to "the Cloud". Sent back in a few minutes is a complete textured 3D model which you can display and view from all angles on the iPad.

Better yet, you can download the desktop version of 123D Catch where you can re-download your model and edit it, removing unwanted pieces and then save out as an OBJ file, so that you can use it in your favourite 3D software. Or you can upload your photos from a higher res camera and create the 3D model from those. And all free! The results will obviously depend on your original images (garbage in, garbage out...) but I have already produced some interesting and useful results.

If you ever wanted a desktop digitizer and couldn't afford one, this may well be the next best thing!

Swordplay WIP [Commercial]

We have been working on a Swordplay Construction Kit for some time and we are just going through the final refinements this week and next. We have set up the motion-captured animated poses so that you can mix and match the poses in any order you would like, as well as mix and match your fighters between M4, V4, and Genesis - so you can have a swordfight between M4 and Genesis, or V4 and M4, and so forth.

These poses will mesh seamlessly from one to another, allowing you to create your own custom swordfight with the included Sword and Shield (supplied by Porsimo)

This will be coming to our Daz store as soon as possible and we will keep you posted on progress as we get to the submission process.

In the meantime have a look at an animation we did using our Swordplay kit.

Voucher for June - Deleted Email

Well I knew it, I thought I had popped the email for June's Voucher in my DAZ folder but nope, deleted it by mistake. The current policy of not having a voucher coupon for Platnium Members means it you lose it, it's lost - That I don't think is fair. There should be at least, the coupon number in my account and if I don't use it for the month, then that's my choice. Is there anyway to have it resent?

Polycount: How Relevant is it? PAs?

A topic of discussion I am interested in, maybe also of interest in any who vend. How important is polycount, and by extension, loading times that can be associated with high polycounts?

Let me preface this with a little background. Now and then I get customers who...

- Want to load up lots and lots of models at once (In our case, models that have 100% complete interiors as well as exteriors)
- Get annoyed and angry that load times are long when importing high poly models into already heavily populated scenes

Most of the brokerages I know in the Poser/DS vending community do not list polycount. Id guess that people are find with eyeballing products and then making an educated guess if its appropriate or not for their use.

What do you all think? Should the Poser/DS community post polycounts?

A search of the forum shows that this question has been asked, but not really answered (as far as the search results showed me). What are pending posts? What caused a post to go in there? Do they ever come out? Some posts seem to have been in that list for weeks.

WPLegacy app not running?

Just brought WPLegacy and unzipped to get the app installer. Clicking the app gives me a flash only and not the expected installer screens.

I also just upgraded to DAZ 4 and now trying to organize and install my purchases. For the last 6 years I've been on the back burner so now trying to get things together to move forward.

Is there something I'm 'missing' with this product? Other products I installed yesterday went fine. I'm running MAC 10.6.8 Thanks

Is there a list of which plug-ins, shaders, etc. are actually compatible with Daz Studio 4?

There are a couple of items I'm interested in but the descriptions either only mention Studio 3 or nothing at all. The thing is, there are some others marked that way that i know DO work in DS4, and a lot of others that still don't (and may never.) With DS4 having been out for over a year now, there's got to be a list somewhere, doesn't there?

I was searching for steampunk items and clicked the sort by release date button. it came up with "no items found". Now it won't find anything at all and doesn't give me the option to change the sort by action. Any advice besides going to Rendo and searching there? Already doing that.

Is there good face morph to make or adjust "realistic game heroine character"? (not muscle man,,)
( not anime like a hitomi A3, but not true rial character like a V5,,)

I think the difference between European model morph (or asian taste character by european creator,,)
with Asian game caharacter, is around eye and the bone shape.

European native bone is so clean‐cut features that it is difficult for me
adjustement good shape to make geme modelshape.

and around mouth, thin, bone is differetnt too.

(I feel ,, asian female character in daz shop is beautyful, but it enphasaize moon face or,
so thin eye, and sometimes so keen jaw ,though it standout asian face,,)

I now thinking to by Genesis Head Morph Resource Kit 1,2,3,,,

but I can not buy all.

so which is best if I make by this tool ?

or Is there another good shape morph for genesis?

I found wrong rigging of Genesis Basic Clothing Rig Kit by Bobbie 25 .

my installer ver is 13086_GenesisClothingDevelopersKit_1.0_trx.exe - pc.

there are 5 Donner dress figure in this products (with tutorial).

and " Right gohst bone (mover) sets" come by B25DevRight.dsf

(as same as "Left ghost bone" come by B25DevLeft.dsf)

then the Right Bone Dress (B25DevRight.dsf) rigging is obviously incorrect.

the "R1 mover" is on opposite translation.

Hi! I have big problems , with the shop!... first: is it a way to get back the old shopping way, when you iredr by mistake an item you already buy in the past, you had an advice: "already buyed in order numero xxx"... ity was so simple... now it's necessary to note the title, go to the itemized account, and go through all the pages until reaching the page of the first letter... If, at the less, a search by alphabet was possible!
second: I have, on each of the two orders I did, items which are impossible to download... not all, but some... I mail a ticket to daz, but get no answer in 3 days... I need these items, so I don't understand how to do...
maybe I miss some functions, as english isn't my langage, but if not, the actual shop is not working, not working at all, in my idea, as when you need an item, you aren't sure at all to get it!...

New Itemized order history - totally USELESS!

I ran into a small problem today with injection pose builder and wanted to reset my purchase to make sure I am using the most updated version. BUT.. There's NO search function to your itemized order history!
Yes I know there was none before either, but at least then all your purchases were in ONE page, you could contact a "find on this page" browser search and locate what you want.
Now.. in order to do that.. you have to go over hundread of pages one by one doing so and that could take HOURS... are you serious guys?
Things are supposed to be getting more functional... not otherwise!
Totally dissapointed at the respect you show towards your customers' time! :(
