Anyhow I am looking for a DAZ or Poser Ready Lyre Prop, beat my head against that one pretty good for the last few days.
If anyone knows where I can find one, please let me know. I may have to go with the Harp in the Elf Song Product, but I would prefer the more Archaic instrument if its out there. ty BB.

Elf Song

Been at it for about a week.

I wanted to make some props for my figures in DAZ.

Not looking to sell stuff, just want to make things I need.

So I tried to think of what would be the easiest thing to make as my first prop...

I settled on a belt...hard thing to screw up...

Everything seemed to go fine...Did a lot of tweaking of dots, using a V4 Base model as my dummy.

I created simple one color mats for the components in Blender, and was happy to see all these areas translated into DAZ.

I could select the separate surface areas to modify the colors. Nice!

However when I tried to apply third party shaders....things looked pretty bad...still not sure why.

Do I have to make modifications to the objects surfaces for DAZ to work well with them?

One example...I applied a chrome shader to the buckle..but it just seems to be grey..not very Chrome-ish.

Any ideas?

If, however, you put it into the cart with a qualifying March Madness item (in my case Ten rooms, three halls) then it JUMPS to (30% off for PC+, 30% off for new release, 10% for Pro Bundle ownership(!)) a price of $7.92.

The actual price, when in the cart with another MM item should be (30% PC+, 50% MM, 10% ProBundle) around $5.65. I'm sure it'll be fixed by morning, but I just thought I'd put it out there in case nobody else alerted on it.

(It's worth noting that the Ten Rooms product behaves completely correctly.)

However, I am glad that if my download service is going to be slowed by heavy traffic, then at least the commercials and porn are not getting better service.

Now if the FCC could just get the 911 service centers be able to tell where my cell phone is as I'm drowning in a lake.

I know about Zev0's Growing Up set, but I'm already using a large number of very specific morphs in creating this character and I really only need a single chest morph. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I use Daz 4.7.0.12 but it also has Reality 4.07 data.

I'm assuming that if there are horse poses and rider poses, that the rider poses are usable regardless of what horse is being used. But the poses are described as hierarchal, which I take to mean that you apply the pose and it poses both the horse *and* the rider.

If you are using a different horse, and apply the pose and the pose simply doesn't apply to the horse, it's no harm done. You just have to pose the horse manually to fit the rider. But if it applies a distorted pose to the horse that has to be undone before you can start posing the horse manually, it's a different matter.

So; two questions:

Has anyone purchased these and can clarify whether the poses for the horse and the poses for the rider are separate?

Has anyone purchased these and tried applying the pose when using the MilHorse or the Hivewire Horse? I think the MilHorse has similar bones, but different limits. The Hivewire Horse has different bones.

The error has something to do with a brick not being available and displacement.

I don't get the error until I hit 99%

I create a new scene, insert a Victoria 6 character.

I go to Materials, find the Domina elements. If I choose Domina All, then entire figure goes black. If I choose just the face, or lips, those textures go black.

When I look at the material, the color is black, as opposed to a texture map. The label of the texture is AoA Subsurface 26, and all the parameters are zeroed out (at first blush, anyway).

Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong?

Is the version in Daz|Studio limited in some way, or am I just not very good with it? Apart from the docs on 3Delight's website, is there anything else I should read?

But why are the other Esha products NOT showing a discount? Neither are identified as new or PC+...
I deleted (and re-added) items - no change....

Wow! Double wow!

These are easily some of the best looking morphs and best looking (most realistic) character skins I have ever seen on the Daz3d website to this day. The associated content also looks super awesome, in particular the horns on the witch doctor outfit.

While some people might take issue with the promo images, I for one think the images are fine and want to make it clear to Daz3d and the hard working PAs involved in the project that at least some of us strongly support Daz3d's embrasure of ethnic groups.

Darius looks like about a million guys I know, and Monique is a dead ringer for my mother in her 20's and 30's. I am really excited by these characters and will be purchasing them as soon as I can afford them.

Bravo....Brilliant.....Long overdue.....and deeply satisfying. This sort of content really makes me love being associated with Daz3d.

Please continue to raise the bar with each new release just the way you have here.
