They look very good. But while I managed to find a couple of the pose packs that the morphs seem to be tied to, a store search doesn't bring up 'Fashion Model Pose Pack' at all. I would have expected to find it in one of the G3F base pro packages, but it doesn't come up in relation to any of the seven Pro packs so far.

Since this is looking like an ongoing new method of simulating dynamics from conforming clothing in Studio, could we have links to the related pose packs with these outfits in the future?

What I would like to tell the responsible person who designed the windows 10 add popup, I would like to tell them that they should please shoot themselfes in the knee, repeatedly... I was rendering that looong thing and I knew it would take a while so I started the render in late afternoon yesterday, and my computer was jolly rendering. In the evening I took a look and it was at 91%, so still a way to go but as there was the night ahead I let it run and hoped for a finished or almost finished render in the morning. Instead I had that stupid (/%%&(%$ popup sitting there asking me to finally update to $§%%$§' windows 10 which I will not do in the remaining lifetime of this computer and my render was still sitting at 92% the computer blocked for any other sensible action until the popup is clicked away. And of some strange reason it would not return to seriously working on the render. But as I'm a very civilised person and I don't even know to find the responsible for that &$§&%§ popup, I'm just venting here on you guys and tell you that I &%$/&%$/§ hate everything about &%$&$§& windows 10 and that from now on I will have to pull th plug for renders of that kind..

I've done searches on the site andd only come up with info that's dated back in June of this year. Nothing since.
Effective Texturing 3D items for DAZ Studio in ZBrush - how to?

Hello to all! I have a question about Zbrush way of texturing various items, especially clothing, to generate accurate displacement and normal maps. For a start I attempted to make a custom texture for Mall Girl Shorts for Genesis and the main base texture was painted in Photoshop. Looks like this (Texture converted to Polypaint)

Then I wanted to add colored 3d stitches onto pockets, belt loops and other places, using free IMM Stitch brushes, and then add decorative elements like embroidery via Spotlight. But when I attempted to colorize this stitch brush via Gradient and Switch Color panels, I get nothing for stitches, they remain uncolored, and when I want to paint stitches over the surface of the subdivided mesh, I need to Freeze Subdivs and then all Polypaint texture disappears (becomes blurry). Is it possible to colorize stitches in, say, brown and then export diffuse, displacement and normal maps, joining this base primary texture and colored or displaced stitch lines? I don't want to change the initial geometry of the mesh, I just want to get the Displacement Map, precisely corresponding to the diffuse one.
The same concerns decorative elements like pockets and embroidery, which can be added via Spotlight - how to save all this elements together with the primary texture on all maps? I have seen so many beautiful items (especially in Mec4d store), obviously textured in Zbrush and I feel it's rather simple but I don't know the right workflow. Can I export the Diffuse texture as PSD to keep all its elements on separate layers and the displacement texture as a whole? Which options are better for exporting textures from Zbrush?

Well, It's now over, and I'm beyond disappointed... I did not find much redeeming about it, and my months purchases reflect that. It is also the first month in 9 months that I did not use my PA coupon, simply because I found nothing to use it on.... I was originally going to go point by point about why I felt it was a failure, but after thinking about it for a couple days, I realize that most of the things on my list were legitimate business decisions by Daz, and while I might not be happy with them, there was really no reason to Whine about them....

However, There is one issue that I saw a lot of, but will continue to be an issue if left unchecked. Daz, you really must address the issue of improperly working sales scripts. No matter how simple or complex you make the sale, IT MUST WORK THE FIRST TIME EVERY TIME. If your webprovider (magneto) can't handle your scripts, you need to simplify them or find another provider... I put 1 item into my cart, and got 3 different prices for the item, In the cart, before I gave up and canceled my purchase. I'm not talking midnight Daz time, but Noon time the next day. While many bugs/issues such as the forum login bug and the lack of a real forum seach are issues, I can ignore them, but where my Credit Card/ Bank account/ Money are concerned, I cannot tolerate problems. This was a major issue for me last month, combined the "Customer Service" not being able to "find" my transaction history when I asked for a refund, and wanting me to send them my bank statement?!?! AS IF! If these issues can upset someone with a $150 a month Daz Addiction to the point of only spending $7.00 for the month (and had I actually gotten the refund I asked for it would have been $3.00).

All I know is I'm now questioning the quality of the company, and re-evaluating my plans for future purchases. Buggy sales reflect very poorly on your company.

I'll premise this by saying I hate the stickied lists at the top that have grown and grown in size and that I have to scroll past every time I visit that part of the forums. In my opinion, several should be part of the general overall site setup.

People who buy from DAZ shouldn't have to go to the forums to discover payment methods. More importantly, when you go to checkout, the payment options are there- so why do we have a sticky? That may have been valid when a new payment method was added, but now? It's been there for years. That belongs in the footer on the site, not a sticky in the forum that we scroll past hundreds or thousands of times. And seriously- "NEW!" As of SEPTEMBER 2012????? How to use a method other than store credit? Again, that would be in the footer with payment methods. Not a sticky. So get rid of two right there. You can disagree with me, but we've heard repeatedly/ the argument that MOST buyers don't visit the forums, so don't stick information like payment methods IN the forums.

And the sticky that has "Useful Resource Threads" has one post. Work in progress? Make that three that aren't necessary. Get some links for that one, then put it back.

Holiday Punch Sale is over. Get rid of the sticky, put it down into the regular links. That makes four.

Eva 7 is not new anymore, it's been September since the release. She doesn't need to be stickied, she should be regular thread like the other figures. The thread barely gets any chat, not even as much as most regular threads. That makes five IMO.

And what an improved viewing experience that would be for thousands of forum members.

Ok I was wondering if someone could clear up a question I had about the different versions of the genesis base models. What would I need to look for when buying stuff if I just use the base models for Genesis, Genesis 2 and Genesis 3 models. I have only purchased 2 characters but for the most part I only use the base models with my own morphs dialed in. I always see tons of stuff for Named models like Victoria, Michael, Bethany, Olympia and such. So what would just the base models be called. I see G4 G5 G6 and G7 alot. But what gen are those? Thanks for any help posted ;)

For the folks interested, I was finally able to write a custom code routine that would convert LAMH fur information to Poser Dynamic Hair.
There are only a few brief steps that I have to do manually, but I am now able to convert and produce addons for all my animal models so that they work natively in Poser too!

And of course new ones will come in double format...

Here is the American Bison for Poser (I must admit I am NOT very acquainted anymore with Poser, so I'm still trying to sort out best render and lighting settings), but I'm very happy with the results.
Attached also an image of the Hair Room.
Being native Poser hair, users will of course be able to style them further and change whatever setting they want.
More to come...

...and how do I search in these discussion forums, it used to be easy. I don't see a search box anymore.

I'm lloking for the name of this hair-set: A vendor called 3D-Age uses it a lot in his pictures, but I'm having a hard time pinning it down.

I've attached a picture. I'm pretty sure it's a V4 hair set.

Is it possible to turn down the skin/texture settings so that Genesis 3 isn't "glowing" ambiently? I am used to the older models like V4/M4 and if you turned down glossiness/specular/ambient on those it made them stop seeming so "bright" but it doesn't seem to work that way with Genesis. Sorry for not using any more accurate terms but hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about.
