http://www.daz3d.com/metamorphosis-for-genesis-3-female-s

Hearken back to the days of the Old Masters when they painted women with soft curves. These women have gentle countenances and their bodies are petite to ample.

The six head morphs and six body morphs give you the ability to mix and match them. The presets will apply each morph at 100%, with an additional head and body preset to remove the morphs. When using the presets, it is recommended that you use the remove preset before applying another morph preset.

I made these morphs with much influence from the Pre-Raphaelite paintings and photographs from the late 1800s. I wanted to try and give some flexilibilty by separating the head and body morphs. This allows you to use the head morphs with Victoria or Eva 7's body or vice versa. The morphs were created on the Genesis 3 Female. They will mix with the Victoria and Eva 7 morphs, but since these are morphs of the Genesis 3 Female, you would need to do lower mixtures rather than use at full percentage. Mixing full head or body morphs should always be attempted with the sliders in percentages lower than 100 as more than one part of the body or head is in use with the morphs, whether the morphs within the Metamorphosis set or other DAZ characters. You can also modify by trying out percentages of the morphs in DAZ's head and body morph sets.

I utilized Khory's lovely pose set, Lend Her Grace, http://www.daz3d.com/lend-her-grace-poses-for-genesis-3-female-s , in the making of the promos. Cameras were set with a focal distance of 120. I tried to list all products used in the promos; you can see this on the product page.

I hope you find the morphs to your liking and get lots of usage from them. I welcome all comments, suggestions and questions and would love to see your renders.

From a character I got about nearly 3 years back which I think may be oldish now along with a couple other characters. I try to use their textures and usually get a lot of stuff come up in the box when I apply them to V4 which they were meant for (see video for example of when I try to add texture of said character to V4).

Anyone know a way I could get this texture to work at all? even if I have to downgrade somehow or add some other type of texture beforehand. I even tried to use it on V3 but no luck.

It's not DRM'd (at the moment) so it's only the need to know what version it works under that is holding back a purchasing decision. Things were so much simpler before DRM Day. :(

Come on in, cast your votes ladies and gentlemen!

Anyone can vote, not only those participating in the actual contest. You can vote for any entries except for you own entries, and we vote in two categories, Best and Funniest. Best is more of a traditional render contest voting where funniest more takes the humorous look at the image. Some images have a few lines of text explaining the story behind them, which often helps the voting, specially in the funniest category. Each win (1st to 3rd place) will also give the winner a sticky Lucky Bastard pull, which means the next round will be a little harder.

Entries thread here: Entries thread
Vote here: RRRR Voting

So, what are we voting about?
What are the prizes?

Winner in the Best category:
– One item from the Dumor3D store.
-- $40 DAZ Store GC

Winner in the Funniest category
– One item from the Dumor3D store.
-- $40 DAZ Store GC

Second place in the Best category:
– Two items, no bundles, from First Bastion's store
-- $20 DAZ Store GC

Second place in the Funniest category:
– One item from Totte's store.
-- $20 DAZ Store GC

Third place in each category:
-- $15 DAZ Store GC

4th place (Honorable mention 1):
-- $10 DAZ Store GC

5th place Honorable mention 2):
-- $5 DAZ Store GC

The voting starts now, and ends Sunday, January 31 at 23:59:59 DAZ Time.

How votes are tallied and summed up:

Voting points: 1st = 5 points, 2nd = 4 points, 3rd = 3 Points, 4th = 2 Points and Tiebreaker = 1 Point.

If an image gets 1st, two 2nd, one 4th and two tiebreakers in a category, that is 5 + 2x4 + 2 + 2x1 = 17 Points
Every image points per category is summed up, and top three is calcutaled in each category. As we now have five prizes, a maximum of two entries from the same artist can end up top three in each category, this is to spead the joy a little more. If two images ends up with the same score, we use the same rules as in the European Song Contest, the number of highter scores wins over many lower scores, so if one image has 5+5+5+1 (16) and another has 2+2+4+4+2 (16) the first one will come before.

To avoid votespamming, anyone voting needs to post here in this thead that they did vote, and use the same name as they have posting here as the DAZ Forum Name in the first question in the vote system at SurveyMonkey.

What I really do not like on G3F and all other characters for G3F existing right now is the hip area, in particular hip crest / hip bone front (left / right side) and the lilac line. This body region looks awful no matter what morphs and characters I have tried right until now and I have nearly all morphing products for G3F and a lot of characters and I have tried a lot to fix this region with no success. So is there a way to smooth this area that there are no folds and wrinkles, means that one not see the hip crest and hip bone no matter of the pose that is used? Really this area looks really bad especially if it comes to bendings and twisting morphs of the lower abdomen, pelvis and thighs, really aweful.

I want to create a not so skiny/slim and awaful anorexic looking character like all the other characters existing right now for G3F (even Bethany which is a bit more chubby has this bad looking area even she should have more fat so one does not see the hip bone/crest)

I've been looking at forum entries on obj/mtl import to Daz Studio (4.5.1.56) and have an entry level confusion about it.

ShareCG has lots of interesting looking obj/mtl models, and I've tried importing a few of them, but the only option I see on Import is

Wavefront OBJ. Loading that, I get that, a Wavefront obj, no textures, just the gray model.

These obj's have mtl files in the same folder, and sometimes, but not always, texture jpgs or pngs.

How do these textures get moved in on import?

If I can't get the textures to auto-apply on obj's, is there any way to add my own textures to an obj? Tried Khory's Design Flooring and Wall

textures, which I use a lot. Surfaces Selection Tool does select and highlight a given area on the obj, but nothing applies.

Not having modeling software, obj's seemed like a good next recourse. But how does one texture them? These obj's have nice textures in

the ShareCG images, and I'd just as soon be able to use them, but whatever's gonna work.

Hi all! :)

Our new product is released: EJ Estela for Genesis 3 Female. Estela is a gorgeous casual beauty that can also be turned into a supernatural creature of green skin and special body and face decorations, that can be an extraterrestrial heroine, a superhero, a fantasy creature, a shape-shifter, and even a dark elf. You can turn Estela's skin green and normal at any time, and mix it with any of the other material options, giving you total freedom.

Estela has special custom ears, and several special makeups in addition to the casual ones. You can put the body decorations in the normal or the green skin as you like, and choose if you want them all or just some, or none of them.

Hope you like her! And of course we will love to see any render that you want to post here too! :)

Not sure if anyone else is seeing it, thus the reason for my post, but since late December, launching Daz on my laptop will blue screen it with a kernel_security_check_failure :(

I am now relegated to an older win7 laptop and DS 4.7. I guess it's what happens when you introduce a new GEForce card, Windows 10 and iray all at once. Something had to give.

Curious if anyone else is having issue recently?

I can't quite make out if there's a 'no make-up' option. I'd like to use a green skin like that for female characters, but without the cosmetics (which are perfectly fine, of course; just want the option!).

hi all,

I've saved up a budget to upgrade my system, but before I decide to buy stuff, I thought it would be best to ask the community here:

What's most important to get smooth results out of Daz Studio and the Iray renderer, the CPU or the GPU?

Currently I'm on an AMD configuration and I was thinking of buying an FX 9590 CPU. I'd use a Geforce GTX Titan X as a GPU.

Smart choice, or am I doing something rather stupid here?

Also, are there any specs the motherboard would need to have to be able to use this hardware properly? My motherboard has the right sockets for both CPU and GPU, but are there any other things I should be looking for? I'm using 16 GB or RAM at the moment. Do I need to bump that up too?

I'm currently not very keen on changing the motherboard, because it might cause me to loose my Windows 10 lisence, and maybe even force me to reinstall Windows alltogether... Or would it be a bad idea to keep the old motherboard in (it's an ASROCK 880GMH/U3S3)?

Thanks a lot,

Didn't post this in the products-request forum since it's not really a product :) But, yeah - I try to always get things on sale, which means that I'm always trying to figure out *what's on sale* - *what's the best sale,* that sort of thing. I find that the existing filters, while good, don't quite narrow it down for me. I'd love to see filters like this:

1. Filter by % off (so, things 86% off would be placed above those 75% off)

2. Ability to exclude PC+ items (the price stays the same on many of these, so the fact that they show up as 1.99-3.99 just clutters the actual sale items)

3. Ability to exclude figures-related items (drives me crazy seeing pages of V3/M3 stuff when I'm looking for sale items)

I can't think of any more right now, but those are the big ones. Would love to hear thoughts, or ideas for other filters. :)
