I realize she's probably a custom created Promo Girl, but I haven't seen her used in any promos recently; She seems to have retired from promos after the V4 era, so I was hoping that maybe she'd been released as a character.  Anyone know?  Or, at least, is there a character who would make a good base to try to recreate her from?

Sorry if this has been asked and answered, I couldn't think of a good keyword search to show whether anyone had inquired about this particular girl.

And lastly, an appeal to the PA: (Anna Benjamin) if she hasn't been released, consider using her in your promos again!

I am getting ready to start a web site where I will be writ ting short stories and would like to use your products for illustrating it.

there are many ways to keep images form being coped or downloaded and  I plan on using them all.

please let us know what hair styles you use in you promo renders, would make things much easier and faster to find.

Every time I do seaches in the store I find no way to search both for Victoria 4 and stockings.

Does anyone have a link to stockings that are compatible with the Victoria 4.2 UV set that are sheer black with a solid black rib down the back?

All I see are for G2F and G3F and I don't even see any for Victoria 7, much less Victoria 4.2

I f one has a question about a product and wishes to ask the vendor how do you get there name? For example ... I want to ask Polish a question but when I type "Polish" into the recipient box a number of differrent "Polishes" come up and none of them are just "Polish". They all have an ending of some sort.

Anyone have any idea?

By changing the translucency color (lighter) and the SSS reflectance tint to lighter and from the blue tint to yeloowish things lighten a bit, but nothing close to what the promos are. So I thought I'd check here first to see if I'm either missing the obvious, or if someone has already figured out the magic key to reproducing something similar to the promos. I've also tried several different light rigs, and HDRI's without any better results (even the "go to" Pixar campus HDRI doesn't seem to lighten her up). Maybe the SSS or spec maps need adjusting?

Hopefully it's just me being stupid. This is the first time I've been tempted to return something because the promos are sooo much different than what I'm getting.

So last night i was playing around with an outside night-time scene, and i figured the best way to get good lighting would be to use a nightsky HDRI to light it. The problem was, i was getting some seriously ugly noise on my character, and only on my character. It would not clear up, no matter what i did. I let it render to 15000 samples, and it looked no different to 6000 samples. It was frustrating as hell, i figured it was something to do with my character, since the noise was only present on the character, and not the rest of the scene.

I spent ages playing with different things, but could not figure it out so i saved the scene and figured i would do something else and come back to it. Then i was setting up a skin shader on a different character, and i had the same noise come back, in a scene that had nothing in it except the character. so after initially getting angry again, i reset all the render settings to default, and the noise was gone. After playing around a little i figured out it was the HDRI map causing the noise problems. Confirmed after going back to the night scene i was doing, deleting the sky HDRI and using the environment light.

So what is it with certain HDRI maps that cause this noise? low resolution? or is it in conjunction with something else?

happy that i know what was causing it now, but also curious to know specifically why this happens
