Can anyone tell me if these packages also work fully in Daz? Or if they will some day if they are currently Poser-only and I take a gamble on buying them anyway with a hope they are compatible in the future?

I'm really enjoying the boost I'm getting from the new GeForce 960 card. And now it's got me wondering if it's worth upgrading to a 3+ GHz quad-core Xeon.

I've seen decent chips (for the 771 socket, but they can easily be adapted to the 775) in the $50 range. Toss in a new cooling system for about $25, and that's not much money for an upgrade.

But would the slight boost in clock speed and the two additional cores be worth the upgrade?

Any thoughts or chip suggestions?

Except now I want to buy the matching hair, dress, and necklace pictured but they aren't named. Anyone know?

Also, the name of the product is itself confusing to me.

What does FW stand for?

What does HD stand for? It couldn't stand for the same type of HD that the Victoria 7 HD Addon does could it? It says I needed only Victoria 7, not Victoria 7 HD when I bought the product.

Of course, what I'd really like is a comprehensive tutorial which covers legacy rigging, as well as weightmapped. And the new dual quaternion (sp?) as well as triax. But if wishes were horses...

(Not to mention that I suspect my most typical rigging task would be to rig a door kitbashed into a frame to open plausibly.)

Questions/Quick Tips:

Of major note, the hair itself got an update... because I felt it could be even better than it was. So if you own Lady Darkness for Genesis 2 female or Genesis 3 female, an update is available in your downloads

I recommend everyone read the PDF, as this is a very tricky set. But Ill cover some common things here:

Will the extensions work with the Lady Darkness cape?
Yes. The bubble tail and Ponytail do poke into the cape a little when you load them, but you just have to bend the first bone slightly to correct it. In most cases it will be negligible, as you will probably want to pose the extensions anyway.

How do I load the extensions?
You must select the Lady Darkness hair in your scene tab (not Genesis) and then click on each extension to load (don't drag and drop) This is because they are rigged to conform to the hair and not Genesis. It is done this way so that the extensions not only auto-follow the hair morphs, but Genesis morphs as well.

The existing ponytail in the hair must be hidden to use the extensions (there is a morph to hide it, as well as a utility pose included in Hard Liquor that will hide it for you) However, this should be a non-issue for the most part, because when you load each extension, it auto-hides the existing tail (as long as you are loading them as instructed above)

Each piece has posable zones. You can pose them, or even lengthen/shorten/thicken them by doing so on their posable zones. In addition, there are also movement and style morphs, to expand their capabilities even further.

Can I use the movement/style morphs with the joints?
Yes. I have taken special care to adjust the rig to each shape where needed, so it can still be posed after using morphs. This will give you even more flexibility.

Using the bubble tail - extra bubbles option:
This is a morph that makes more smaller bubbles (rather than 2 big ones) and it comes complete with extra conforming ties made just for it. Simply click the bubble tail in your scene, then click to load these ties... they will conform and auto-dial in the extra bubbles morph. There is also an inj/rem for the extra bubbles morph, so you don't have to search for the morph itself. Just be sure the bubble tail is selected before using them.

The braid has messy strands that are interwoven into the braid (for a more natural look) These can be turned off for a neater braid, using the Braid Strands Off Utility.

The Serpent diadem is an extra bonus... which is part of a set of relics (called Serpens Reliquias) I am spreading them about in different places - fun easter eggs of sorts. Each relic has a pair of serpents entwined on them, with colored iridescent scales and the eyes of which glow eerily with power. Legend tells that these relics each have a different curse placed upon them, which imbue who holds them with certain powers (there is an actual rhyming curse to each one - but you have to read the PDF/readme to read them) The diadem has the ability to raise and control an army of the dead (since Lady Darkness is a necromancer, I felt this curse would be most fitting) You can also find the free Serpent Fang Dagger in the March issue of DS Creative - this dagger relic has the ability to poison its victims with the tiniest scratch from its blade. There are lots more relics to the set, and you can collect them all... but you have to keep your eye out for them, as you never know where you will find them.

The Teen Josie 6 head morph makes this worse, but some characters (the only one I can think of at the moment is Madeline for Stephanie 6) have this problem in the original product. Of course, thick eyeliner somewhat conceals this, but I like to have the choice of a natural skin.

My question is: Does anyone know how to remedy this, and would you give an explanation that a 10-year old (of reasonable intelligence) could comprehend?

Generally speaking I would appreciate it very much when the icons or the title for the materials contain an indicator for Iray or 3delight. I know some products have it and the older products don't even have Iray but with the newer ones, the need to go look up in the surfaces in a bit annoying.

Somehow my keyboard shortcuts in DazStudio 4.6 stopped working ,  can't delete or undo,   so I'm wondering if there is a Toggle for keyboard shortcuts in DazStudio 4.6 that I inadvertently hit?  Everything else still functions through menu commands,  so I don't know.   Any quick fix for this?

Just posing a question to anyone that has the Neptune Wellness Centre.

I write/create artwork for a comic genre series called Atlantica 2200.

One of the hero "teams" operates from outside of city called Europa (located where Paris once was...long story lol.)

Anyhow many super hero teams have a habit of working from HQ's based in mansions etc and I was originally going to go with "tradition".
However when I saw the Wellness centre I figured that could work as a base.
What I'd like to know is if there are any separate "apartments" that the team members could use.
I tried figuring out the layout from the pictures but am not too sure.

I did have a look at the holiday resort as well as an alternative....

You thoughts would help in this matter (or any other alternative out there!)
