      <description><![CDATA[<p>Sorry, but I have to wonder why many&nbsp;<strong><em>free</em></strong> sites have download speeds of over 1 Mbps&nbsp;while Daz3D&#39;s download speeds are usually in the 100 Kbps range.</p>

<p>And this is for content I bought &amp; paid for, from a company that (presumably) makes a profit on the transaction.</p>

<p>when i use puppeteer to create a move, i found a problem: sya you have an animation with 350 frames, when you use the puppeteer and your move exceed 350 frames, your animations generated by puppeteer is cut at 217 frames... To reproduce this issue:</p>

<p>Create a cube</p>

<p>Go to the puppeteer and create 3 or 4 different position</p>

<p>Now record your move (more than 350 frames so more than 10 s)</p>

<p>Return to the timeline and you&#39;ll see the frame is cut to 217, but you&#39;ll have a last frame (corresponding to the last move you&#39;ve record in puppeteer). I don&#39;t understand, i&#39;ve never see this before. I&#39;ve Daz 4.9.3.166 and keymate and graphmate.</p>

<p>I installed via DIM and when I tried to take it for a test drive, the window popped up telling me that a lot of files could not be located. So I went back to the purchase page and selected Manual Download. At first it gave me an error saying &quot;source files cannot be found&quot; (or something like that.) I tried again, it allowed me to download and when I compared the list of what they said was missing vs. what was in the folder...it was all there. It seems like I had to click &quot;SKIP&quot; in Daz more than 15 but I don&#39;t understand what is going on. Why is it telling me that the things in the folder are the things I&#39;m missing. I like this hair but it&#39;s going to be a drag to have to deal with this everytime I load it in a scene.</p>

<p>I also bought Shanda Hair and while I am able to find all related files to it in my Daz folder on my C Drive(so it seems to be installed correctly) it does not show up anywhere in Smart Content or My Content. The only way I can get it to open is to go into People&gt;G3 Female&gt; Hair and then load the .duf. I have looked for the artist name, and the hair name. It isn&#39;t anywhere. These are both LittleFox Products. Is there something wrong with the download structure? I don&#39;t want a refund as I genuinly love these styles but if I can&#39;t use them without jumping 100 hurdles, I&#39;m out.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Short of being forced to buy something, is there a way to deal with close-fitting clothing that looks perfect in the preview, but when rendered, has poke-through all over the place? Why is this not visible BEFORE rendering?</p>

<p>I&#39;m using the Flight Attendant stockings with a figure that has a bit of musculature applied. The JPEG image is the preview, the PNG is a quick, rough IRay render - from one to the other, it&#39;s like the rendering process shrinks the stockings! And they have no fit adjustments, so I&#39;m kind of at a loss as to what causes this and how it can be fixed, short of spending MORE money. I&#39;ve tried adjusting smoothing, I&#39;ve tried adjusting collision iterations, neither work.</p>

<p>I&#39;m fairly new to the 3D rendering scene, and thus far I have been utterly impressed with the renders using&nbsp;iRay engine.</p>

<p>However, my minor gripe is the impact the engine has on my&nbsp;CPU,&nbsp;and find myself stuck with a machine that is barely responsive while rendering.</p>

<p>I was wondering if there is any setting that could adjust the load it has on the CPU?</p>

<p>I do not mind waiting&nbsp;longer so long as I can multitask and do other things on my machine! (and yes,&nbsp;I am aware that having a compatible GPU could solve&nbsp;the problem, but this is an investment for later in the year).</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I want to orbit the camera but it seems the only way you can do this is with the freehand tools in the viewport (see image attached), which means moving the camera can only be as precise as your wobbly hands!</p>

<p>Is there anything in the parameters that allows you do this with precision? I note that there are options to rotate the camera (which is NOT what I am looking for), but none for orbiting, as you can do within the viewport.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Another option I would like to consider is whether is a way to orbit the camera in one AXIS only.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Okay, maybe I&#39;m going about this wrong, or maybe something is broken under the hood.&nbsp; I bought the whole Growing Up for Genesis 3 Bundle, with both the girl and boy packages.&nbsp; I have loaded a Genesis 3 Male character into the scene editor.&nbsp; I then go to Smart Content &gt; Shaping, and I&#39;m presented with all the shape appliers for Growing Up Gen3.&nbsp; However, when I go to click one of these -- for instance Age 5-6 -- absolutely nothing at all happens.&nbsp; My expectation is to see the generic, unmodded Gen3 Male character in front of me to then transmogriphy instantly into a 5 year old, instead, absolutely nothing at all happens.&nbsp; If I then rightclick on the Age 5-6 shape applier and select Merge Into Scene, again nothing.&nbsp; If I right click Age 5-6 and select Open As New, I get a dialog box asking &quot;Would you like to save changes to the current scene before closing it?&quot; which I then click No on, and let it try to load the 5-6 year old that way.&nbsp; It clears the grownup Gen3 Male character away completely... and then throws up a dialog saying &quot;An error occurred while reading the file, see the log for more details.&quot;</p>

<p>Loading the log file doesn&#39;t show me anything useful at that moment of the log file, just the above error.</p>

<p>This is getting hugely frustrating.&nbsp; One of the main things I intend to do in Daz Studio is create a bunch of little-kid characters for stuff like comicbook stories.</p>

<p>Is there some sort of say-the-magic-words-while-standing-on-my-head thing I have to do just before I load one of these age morphs?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi.&nbsp; I&#39;ve been using Daz Studio off and on since roughly version 4.6.&nbsp; For some reason, the skin is getting a scaly appearance with more than optimum render settings.&nbsp; Warning:&nbsp; The model is completely nude.&nbsp; This is my first time using uberenvironment2.&nbsp; I was having other issues that made Daz nearly unusable since both upgrading to Win10 and from Daz Studio version 4.8.x to 4.9.x.&nbsp; In fact, there are some ongoing issues there and I have submitted a ticket.&nbsp; However, I am wondering if there is a setting that I have wrong.&nbsp; You can see all of the uberenvironment2 settings in the as well as the render settings screenshot.&nbsp; I intentionally kept this very simple due to some of the other issues.&nbsp; There are only three things in the scene:&nbsp; Genesis 2 Female, Front Camera and uberenvironment2.&nbsp; Does anyone know what might be causing this effect?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi, just fiddeling on my workspace&nbsp;layout. Recently changed to City Limits. Only thing I miss are the multiple entry points to the library. Before I had a layout with the 4 tabs (like actor/pose/camera+lights/render) in activity bar. As the library was present on all four tabs, one could have 4 areas of the libary &quot;open&quot; for easy access. Now with city limits, there is just one tab &quot;advanced&quot; and therefore only one library state making it timeconsuming the change from figure-parts to clothing to lights etc. Any workaround or other options?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I just purchased the Wear Tem All&nbsp;<span>Autofitting Clones and Clothing Smoothers for Genesis 3 Female and Male in hopes of using all of the older clothing on the the new figures. However, the only Autofit&nbsp;options I am getting for Genesis 3 figures are the default ones. The additonal &quot;clones&quot;&nbsp;for Genesis, Michael 4 and Victoria 4 are not showing.</span></p>

<p><span>I have performed a &quot;Scan for new&quot; within DAZ Studio. I have restarted my computer, and performed a full shutdown and second scan. Still not showing up. Is there something I&#39;m missing from the install?</span></p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello. - I have been developing a project using The Little Soldiers pack. To enhance the project I have purchased the Base Camp pack. I have spent some time practicing putting the two together but have come up with an odd situation. After placing a building into my scene I needed to move it and resize it but certain parts of the building, drain pipes, lighting poles etc, stayed in their original position. I didn&#39;t realise this was happening until I noticed the items &#39;hanging&#39; in the air. The &#39;footprint&#39; of the buildings also had to be moved separately. Is there any way this can be avoided, can the parts be &#39;attached or linked&#39; to each other so that the building can be moved as one body.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Has anyone run into color issues within Iray and DAZ Studio before? I ran into a random bug quite accidentally when working with V6&#39;s eye textures.</p>

<p>I essentially have two identical textures: one is the original V6 eye texture and the other is a resaved version. Both look identical in the viewport, but then have significant differences when using Iray -- the original texture looks whiter than the resaved texture.</p>

<p>Note that I&#39;ve not done *any* post work other than resaving the texture -- either resaving in one of several image editors as well as a simple copy/paste from folder to folder.&nbsp;All metadata that I can see show that both images are identical, as well as histogram analysis.</p>

<p>I&#39;m stumped as to why this is happening...</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Okay, guys &#39;n gals, this is a BIT strange (but I&#39;m a strange guy ;) )...</p>

<p>I&#39;m trying to turn Genesis II Female into the gynoid style as created by the artist Imperator-Zor on DeviantArt.</p>

<p>The gynoid design has boot feet (no toes), a noseless humanoid face with ear pods and a black eye visor...</p>

<p>And quad thumbs.</p>

<p>I&#39;m working on the head...I&#39;ve got the boot-like toes...I&#39;ve pretty much figured out the maps to do the surface details, <em>but the quad thumbs perplex me.</em></p>

<p>I&#39;ve taken the G2F hand, cut it in half, mirrored it, and sewed it back up...I&#39;ve GOT the hand (attached)...</p>

<p><em><strong>***But...HOW would I be able to dupe/mirror the G2F bones in the Index and Thumbs over, so all the fingers can BEND on the geograft pieces?</strong></em></p>

<p><em><strong>And how do we change the hand bones length &amp; position? <img alt="indecision" src="https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/whatchutalkingabout_smile.png" title="indecision" /></strong></em></p>

<p>As my Daz3D was on the drive C of the old computer, but all data of my library on the drive D wich i&#39;ve transfered to the new computer (but know as drive D now), i had just to reinstall Daz3D on the new drive C.</p>

<p>Everything works good, but something strange happens with the morphs i&#39;ve created. I still can apply them to my characters, but i cannot tweak those morphs on the clothes i use to dress my characters.</p>

<p>Did i missed something while reinstalling and/or transfer my data drive on the new computer ?</p>

<p>Thanks in advance for your help and please forgive my bad English, it&#39;s not my mother tongue, i&#39;m French</p>

<p>I wish to have a line of Little Soldiers with one being smaller than the others. Is it possible having finalised my first soldier to copy him and the &#39;paste&#39; next to him and so on. Is it then further possible to work on each individual to give them all some character.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I want to transfer a weight mapped rig from one version of a mesh to another updated version with updated groups. I&#39;ve done this before but for the life of me I can&#39;t remember how to do it. Everything I&#39;ve tried doesn&#39;t recognise the new groups, only the old or no groups at all.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I just started trying to use Daz again after a couple year haitus and have run into an issue with verison 4.9.</p>

<p>I installed Daz and all of my old content onto my new computer using the install manager. The files downloaded to the&nbsp;default root folder &quot;C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library&quot;. When I launched Daz and started building a scene I very quickly ran into an issue where about 50% of my content gave me a &quot;resource error&quot; that said the &quot;file does not exist&quot;. I recognize this means that Daz can&#39;t find the file in the right folder. However, when I checked the folder, all the required files were in it. The files were the exact name that Daz was searching for as well.</p>

<p>The content directory for these files is mapped in both the &quot;Daz Studio Formats&quot; and &quot;Poser Formats&quot; directories.</p>

<p>I&#39;ve uninstalled and reinstalled the content several times. I&#39;ve reinstalled with the Install Manager and manually to see if there was an issue with the install manager. I&#39;ve reimported the metadata. I&#39;ve remapped the content directories, but nothing seems to work.</p>

<p>I&#39;ve literally been scouring the internet for 5 or 6 hours trying to solve this problem. I&#39;m sure it&#39;s user error but I can&#39;t for the life of me figure out what I&#39;m doing wrong.</p>

<p>Any input would be greatly appreciated.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Something weird is happening.&nbsp; I set up a scene, very simple G3f no other scenery just the figure. The scene renders fine until about 35 iterations then the hair begins to vanish. Not the whole hair, the scalp or base remains and the rest of the hair becomes increasingly lighter. This happens when using dome in scene setting with dome on. This is a recent occurrence because it hasn&#39;t been happening. And it doesn&#39;t happen all the tine just with certain light sets.</p>
