      <description><![CDATA[<p>So I sculpted my perfect model in Zbrush only to find out that she won&#39;t work with any expressions because her teeth are set too high in her head. I tried to adjust rigging to shape with joint editor, but it didn&#39;t do the trick. Below you can see what my problem is.</p>

<p>Does anyone know a way to manually adjust her teeth joints? If so, could this be accidentally reset by a customer? I hope I&#39;m explaining myself enough. Thanks!</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I do apologize if this has been covered before, but it&#39;s something I can&#39;t wrap my head around conceptually...&nbsp;</p>

<p>I downloaded Hitomi, a Genesis figure. I&#39;ve been interested in doing some anime style work and, well... best choice for the task. Now, why can&#39;t I make a Genesis 8 figure with, say, a Hitomi head? Or, maybe I want to make a real-world character with big, anime eyes... or something.&nbsp;I&#39;m assuming that there&#39;s some sort of hard limitations and parameters programmed into the base Genesis 8 figure to prevent this, but is there a way around it? Why can&#39;t I make a Genesis 8 figure the same shape as what&#39;s made available with Hitomi?</p>

<p>I&#39;ve attempted to try using Dforms, but that doesn&#39;t really work, either.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi everyone, I hope this is the correct forum for this question. I am a comic book/pinup artist and recently I&#39;ve started using Daz Studio to help me with difficult scenes or backgrounds. One thing that I would love to do is create content... I&#39;m very interested in creating texture sets that will utilize the L.I.E. but I&#39;m having a devil of a time figuring out the nuts and bolts of creating the content for use in Daz.<br />
<br />
I can do all the image editing work, no problem. My issue is formatting the content in such a way as to be able to get into Daz, and then make use of L.I.E.<br />
<br />
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Are there tutorials available on how to package content so that it works with the L.I.E. in Daz STudio 4?<br />
<br />
I&#39;ve searched, but I&#39;m coming up snake eyes!</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Sorry for such a novice question but I&#39;ve never been in the position of using a Merchant Resource before and just realised I had used one on a product I&#39;m packing for sale when it called for textures on testing on another computer. The specific product is&nbsp;Mec4d PBS shaders for Iray vol.3 MR and it says this:&nbsp;&quot;<span>Product can be used only in Commercial Sets for Sale and used as Material Presets for your model surfaces [ not as shader preset ] &quot;. I am using it as part of a material preset for a model but I would need to include the texture files used and I wasn&#39;t sure what I should or can do with the texture files. For example include them with the same names, rename, etc.. I couldn&#39;t find a ReadMe with the product which I hoped might lay this out. Thank you for any help.</span></p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Just updated the new Daz Studio 4.9.4 on both mac Pro and PC laprop running Windows 8.0. On the Mac I noticed that all the nodes are locked by default and I can&#39;t seem to find a way to unlock it. Usualy just clicking on the small x in the scene window would unlock the desired figure, prop or nod. It works just fine on Windows but it just stopped working on MAC after the update.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Also I have a nVidia GeForce GTX 680&nbsp;4Gb but Daz doesn&#39;t seem to see it at all and only sees CPU for rendering. i wondering if this is Mac thing or some of my settings. Downloaded the latest nVdida drivers and makes no difference.</p>

<p>My Mac spces:</p>

<p>Mac Pro 5.1 mid 2012, 3.33 GHz 6 core processor, 32 GB RAM, OSX Yosemite 10.10.5</p>

<p>Also I have 2 cinema display connected, not sure if that would make a difference or not.</p>

<p>I build a new PC (W10) and reinstall DIM. In a first stage after the new install, all my 7xxx downoaded and installed files with my old DIM are under the &quot;ready to download&quot; tab. In a second stage I mapped the &quot;ready to install&quot; tab with my directory where all my with DIM downloaded files are stored and my 7xxx files then&nbsp;appear&nbsp;in the &quot;ready to install&quot; tab.</p>

<p>I tried to map all the different installation directories&nbsp;where I installed all&nbsp;the DAZ&nbsp;stuff under the setting window (installation tab), but it didn&#39;t change anything and all the files stay in the &quot;ready to install&quot; tab. What am I doing wrong because I&#39;m sure there is a way to keep all installed files recognized by a fresh DIM install on a new computer. I&#39;m sure I already had the same problem for 3 years when I build my old PC and managed to solve that problem but cannot remember how I did it.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I am busy making new morphs for G8 female. It is going ok working via Hexagon. They transfer back and do loadup. I am not able to save them directly to the original G8 though and have found that I have to save as a New Character. This is all well and fine it saves me from saving mistakes I do not want to use later. But, I do need to combine and rearange some of them. Trouble is I can not find the files where they are to do this. I have just installed the newest version of 4.9 Beta 64 bit and G8.</p>

<p>Question is when you save a morph asset and then apply it to G8 and save as a New character, Where do the morph files go? what location?</p>

<p>I purchased 4x 1060&#39;s for mining ethereum and doing some 3d work as well. Meanwhile I am waiting for my pci-e risers to arrive, I have 2 of the cards installed in the system giving me a total of 12GB of VRAM to work with.</p>

<p>I tried to render a scene and IRAY didn&#39;t use any of my 1060&#39;s.. Since I don&#39;t know how to check for scene memory size I continued by loading a new empty scene and trying to render a single figure in dome and scene enviroment setting with a camera. Still nada.</p>

<p>Updated Daz Studio, still the same.</p>

<p>Installed &nbsp;Daz Studio Beta, still nothing.</p>

<p>I don&#39;t know what else to do, Tried to search for a solution in searching engines but all I get are those old topics of pascal in iray yada yada..&nbsp;</p>

<p>I have the latest Nvidia drivers installed.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>So I&rsquo;m creating a scene. I have my figure shaped and scaled and posed and positioned in the scene, and probably parented (I like to group things for visibility when working). Then I discover I need a corrective morph - to get hair in a certain position, or accomodate a soft collision, or whatever.</p>

<p>I don&rsquo;t have Zbrush.</p>

<p>So I set the figure to base resolution and export to OBJ and import into my modeling program of choice (Blender). I make the necessary changes and export back to OBJ, in both cases using the settings that work fine for me when the figure is in the T-pose. I open up Morph Loader Pro and import my new morph and turn it on.</p>

<p>Vertexes go everywhere.</p>

<p>Am I trying to do the impossible, or have I missed a setting somewhere?</p>

I&#39;ve added just about every directory I can think of to the exclusion list. Not sure what else to do aside from disconnecting my LAN cable and disabling Avast while using DAZ Studio.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Been trying to get Mary Anne working in DAZ, while she supposedly has a3DL skin, it comes out so Flat and Lifeless compared to the Preview window.</p>

<p>If anyone knows of a script or some basic setting suggestions. I&#39;m not trying to get some super photo realism, just as close to the preview window as possible. but as her pants, like so many recent products, dont even render in the OpenGL I do have to stack layers in post that way.</p>

<p>The GAMA is set at 2.2 and As the Set I am using is a lil pin-up studio set I recently down loaded. She is setting right in the beam of a spot at 100%; not that you could tell by the image on the left at all. I cant remember the channel;&nbsp; because I could not reproduce it; but it seemed to me her flesh tone was flat, and orange which turned out to be the tone of one of the underlying layers, like the engine was ignoring her surface skin completely. And just presenting this gross, flat, underpainting.</p>

<p>A script the mimics the Intermediate Open GL is I think what Im Ultimately aiming for here; that would produce an image I could port to MS5 for work.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>The creator needs to show up asap because the hd sky has messed up my transparent background. If i put it to none the hd sky is visible instead, if i put it on backdrop, NOT visible in render the background color is visible.</p>

<p>So, Terradome messed up my transparent color in the background. I need help asap.</p>

<p>Ok, this was the problem, you better fix this because this is a SERIOUS problem.</p>

<p>If someone click on the HD sky without having the TD3 atmosphere marked the HD sky replaces Daz basic transparency background. (This will happen with 99% for people who wants to try things out)</p>

<p>When this happen, the whole scene is completely ruined, there is no way to fix it, you must go back and delete every content about HD sky.hdr that you used and then reinstall it. NOT fun!</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>But otherwise Terradome is great, just fix this problem and it&#39;s set. The HD sky should NOT activate if TD3 Atmosphere is not marked.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Ok I know how to make them as I work in zBrush a lot and save them&nbsp;as well. &nbsp;The issue is that when assigning them to work with a specific character only, that is where it gets screwy.</p>

<p>I placed them&nbsp;into the hierarchy as 2ndary sub_comp. Under the character I want the jcm to work under and then I saved the jcm as morph asset. &nbsp;Sometimes the morph will work under a normal g8 character (working with g8 now) instead of just under the character I want it to work under. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Could someone walk me through the process when creating a jcm and where to place it correctly so it will only work with the character instead of the whole.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi , I am new to DAzstudio but I have managed to create some Victoria 5 figures and add hair and clothes and actually get them to look the way I want. My project requires many images of characters having discussions, exhibiting various facial expressions. I found the controls for Expressions in the parameters panel when you have the head selected. However I only see sliders for 4 expressions, and none of them are Happy/Smile. I have sliders for angry, concentrate, fear and glare. I assume I&#39;ve only got the basic freebie expressions. Does anyone know how to add additioal expressions for Victoria 5 and genesis 1 males?&nbsp; Thanks</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I recently made the upgrade from a 2Gb Geforce 960 to a 6Gb Geforce 1060 (I had trouble fitting busier scenes into the VRAM, and CPU rendering is glacially slow), and for my own curiosity, i screencapped the memory-use messages Iray gives when i start a render (Before it starts counting iterations), the numbers it mentions are:</p>

<p>Geometry memory consumption: 87.3477 MiB</p>

<p>Texture memory consumption: 5.46434 GiB</p>

<p>Lights memory consumption: 199 KiB&nbsp;&nbsp; (I used &quot;Sun/sky only&quot; for lighting)</p>

<p>Material measurement memory consumption: 0 KiB</p>

<p>Material memory consumption: 485.516 KiB</p>

<p>The render is 1365x1024 in size and optimization is set for speed, not memory use.</p>

<p>The scene in question contains two clothed Genesis 8 females with morphs, both with the same skin texture, with two V4-era props used as background.</p>

<p>My question is: Did memory consumption jump up THIS much in the step from G3F to G8F?&nbsp;&nbsp; In my simple (Probably uneducated, too) mind, 5.4 GiB seems pretty steep for just the textures, i did a render on the same system when i just got the new video card, which had 4 G3F characters wearing more complicated clothing material-wise (Metals and stuff), mesh lights, in an enclosed space, same resolution and that rendered fine, if i add two more characters in textures to the 5.4 GiB for the G8F-render, my system will go to CPU-rendering...</p>

<p>I noticed that as expected, G8F renders a bit slower than G3F for similar scenes (Mostly one character, simple prop background, sun/sky lighting), but the apparent jump in memory use really startled me.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Since I upgraded to thelatest version of Studio a few weeks ago, the program has been crashing left and right. &nbsp;It crashes at least 5 times per hour, always when I am rendering. &nbsp;Is there a problem with the latest version of Studio that you are working on fixing?</p>

<p>I use Windows 10, and have a 6 core processor, a Titan Z and a GTX 970. &nbsp;I took my computer to the shop this week to have professionals&nbsp;update all of my Nvidia drivers. &nbsp;But the program is still crashing.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Can you please help with some troubleshooting?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Not the normal &quot;duplicate formulas found&quot; thing, but something slighly stranger.</p>

<p>Has anyone had an issue with duplicate formulas suddenly appearing out of nowhere? I don&#39;t mean the typical thing, where you installed something new and that particular item immeditely tells you there are duplicate formulas the first time you use it. (Or the first time you use a Genesis figure with the affected morph.) I mean, something you&#39;ve had installed for a while and used without any issue, that has not been updated or changed or anything that you know of, suddenly starts throwing duplicate formula errors, and you can&#39;t figure out why?</p>

<p>I&#39;ve had M3D Clayton for G3M installed since it came out, back in February. Have never had an issue with it. Studio has never thrown out a message on it. As far as the readme can be trusted, it&#39;s never been updated -- at least, I don&#39;t remember downloading an update via DIM.</p>

<p>Today, for absolutely no apparent reason that I can understand, I start getting &quot;duplicate formula found&quot; messages when I use G3M. When I go into the log, this is the message:</p>

<p>How is it even possible for something to spontaneously evolve a duplicate formula issue when it&#39;s never been touched?</p>

<p>I removed the file from the Morphs directory, and the alert vanished, so it was definitely that file.</p>

<p>Even weirder, when I put a new copy of the file back -- I have the original zip, in a directory that DIM can&#39;t touch -- the error returns.</p>

<p>How could the error have been there all the time and not thrown off a message until now?</p>

<p>For that matter, is that something I can fix, or is that purely something I&#39;d have to file a ticket on? (The file isn&#39;t compressed, but since the innards are only slightly more comprensible than Ancient Greek, I&#39;m guessing probably not.)</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I recently Bought the&nbsp;V4.2 bundle. &nbsp;I was provided with V5&nbsp;and V6 actors. But there is no V4.2 in the mix. &nbsp;I purchase the product to be able to use&nbsp;V4 clothing. &nbsp;It clearly stated that the bundle is&nbsp;&nbsp;a V4.2 product, and said nothing about including V5 and V6 . &nbsp;&nbsp;What&#39;s up with this? &nbsp;Did Daz providd&nbsp;me the V5 And&nbsp;V6 figures because the V 4.2 figure is no longer available ?&nbsp;&nbsp;Does anyone have this issue.&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi folks, not sure if this has been answered, or possible, but once I pose&nbsp; a figure/animal, etc, can I freeze the pose, so when I export to C4D as an example, the pose is set as it was in DAZ ? the FBX files that I export, poses nicely in C4D, but sometimes, it &quot;snaps back&quot; to the regular pose, ie, figures in a crucifx pose. Once I do a pose in C4d, then I do a &quot;current state to opject&quot; and it is set to my desired pose, but wondering if&nbsp; I can &quot;freeze the pose &quot;in DAZ, then maybe no chance of it &quot;snapping back&quot;, once it is exported into&nbsp; C4D, thank you, Craig</p>
