<p>I purchased the old HIRO Starter bundle and Hiro 3.0.&nbsp; I&#39;m wondering what I&#39;m doing wrong because I cannot find a model base that will take any of the Hiro 3.0 content that I have on the program.&nbsp; I&#39;m wondering if anyone can help me with telling me what model base should I be starting with that will take my Hiro 3.0 content.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello, I asked this a few years ago but does anyone know if there is a simple way to make M4 one-eyed? Merge the two eyes or remove them and simply have a single large eye in the middle of the forehead? I would really like to create a cyclops character but don&#39;t need anything complicated (no need for a whole special character morph); I&#39;m just looking for a way to give M4 a single eye and then adjust the rest of the face and body as usual to create the character look I want. Is that possible or is it a whole project that would need to be done by an experienced vendor? Unfortunately, I can&#39;t find any simple one-eye morphs for M4. I&#39;ve seen a cyclops for an older version of the Freak and for Genesis, which I don&#39;t use, but nothing for M4/V4. Any suggestions would be appreciated!</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>The relationship between the various models of DAZ dragons is confusing. There are various ones with &quot;Millenium&quot; and &quot;Sub&quot; in their names, and I somehow ended up with one named the Millenium SubDragon LE.</p>

<p>The bundle in FastGrab today got me looking at dragon textures and add-ons, and I found some interesting stuff for dragons whose names resemble mine, but I don&#39;t know if the stuff is really&nbsp;compatible with my LE model. I sort of suspect the LE is just a decimated version of the Millenium SubDragon or Millenium Dragon, and it&#39;s possible all these products use the same UVs&mdash;and yet the <em>slightly</em> different names could be an indication that they are all <em>completely</em>&nbsp;different and thus mutually incompatible.</p>

<p>It&#39;s not like DAZ to hide stuff you might like to buy, but when it comes to the dragon add-ons, I&#39;m just left scratching my head.</p>

<p>Can anyone explain what the relationships and compatibilities are between the dragons named with &quot;Millenium&quot; and &quot;Sub&quot;?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>My Content Library/Categories has suddenly stopped working. Everything that was in it is gone (even the DEFAULT categories). Everything was working fine until earlier today - then, for no reason I could see, everything was gone. Please note:</p>

<ol>
	<li>I am running a newly fully up to date version of DAZ Studio 4.9 Pro</li>
	<li>If I select an item and create a category from it, I can place a link in the root Categories folder.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Attempting to create a New Subcategory either simply fails to do anything or gives me an error message saying it can&#39;t create the container.</li>
</ol>

<p>I&#39;m assuming my category file has been corrupted or something. Is there a file I can purge, something like trashing my preferences in other software?</p>

I&#39;m wondering how I can save in a preset file (then not a full SCENE, only settings for items in the scene).. of all Clothes visibility settings.<br />
<br />
I&#39;m explaining why:<br />
<br />
I created a main project scene (Duf), where a character take place!<br />
I rendered this characters 21 times.<br />
Each times I was setting the Visibility to NONE (both renders/previews) to some parts of clothes. (again like Body/Head etc.. parts)<br />
<br />
I made this process to &quot;simulate&quot; partial Outfits Destructions feature for a game that I work on.<br />
<br />
This works great !<br />
<br />
<strong>BUT... I&#39;m wondering if there any solution to save a small preset files (that I can Drag and Drop in my main DUF scene) for restore which parts has being hidden.<br />
Then Saving theses presets like:</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>OutfitDestruction_preset_1.py</li>
	<li>OutfitDestruction_preset_2.py</li>
	<li>OutfitDestruction_preset_3.py</li>
	<li>OutfitDestruction_preset_4.py</li>
	<li>...</li>
</ul>

<p>Etc (if script/file is written in Python)<br />
<br />
These &quot;preset files&quot; then can be loaded in my scene and auto-hide/auto-show corrects parts of outfits (any outfits in the scene that match with the presets settings)<br />
<br />
<strong>Instead of&nbsp; ... Saving the whole DUF scene each time.. (that eat diskspace and more and more if I continue this like that..)<br />
<br />
So... I don&#39;t know if&nbsp; it&#39;s even possible to save only presets of settings (WHOLE scene figures/props/objects)..<br />

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m encountering a weird problem with the INJ files that I&#39;ve created using <a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.daz3d.com/injection-pose-builder-1-5">INJection Pose Builder 1.5</a> for V4 and M4. I have installed INJection Pose Builder correctly, I have put it on my C:/ for easy access and I have created the Vikki 4++ and Mike 4++ figures as is directed by the tutorial but when I go to create my INJ/REM files, the INJ files don&#39;t apply the morphs to my character inside Poser unless I have all Morphs++ and Muscle INJ&#39;s added to the figure.</p>

<p>I don&#39;t know if this is normal behaviour or not, but I don&#39;t think so because I don&#39;t need to apply these base morphs to my figure when I apply any morphs from a purchased character that uses any dials from the Morphs++ pack.</p>

<p>V4 and M4 have been both utilised with the .bat files, and to double check I even ran them again last night but no joy. I thought that since I saved my Michael 4 Morph++ figure to plug into INJection Pose Builder on a external runtime that it was causing problems, so today I created another M4 Morph++ and saved it in the main Poser directory that is in My Documents. It didn&#39;t make any difference. The INJ files are still not applying my character&#39;s morphs.</p>

<p>These characters are created using only the dials, no sculpting in Zbrush, and I&#39;m not looking to distribute them. I only want them INJ/REM files to make it easier to use these characters.</p>

<p>I&#39;m using Poser Pro 2014 and I&#39;m on a Windows 7 64-bit system. My Daz figures are all installed in the default folder that is created in My Documents, while all my other content is installed in external runtimes on a partition. This is not happening to a single character I&#39;ve made - it is happening to ALL the characters I&#39;ve created using the dials and exporting the INJ/REM files through INJection Pose Builder. There is about seven of them in total and all of them have a broken INJ file.</p>

<p>Any help would be greatly appreciated. I spent several hours wrestling with this last night and it&#39;s incredibly frustrating to have this issue happen when I&#39;m just beginning to feel like getting back into art.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>When rendering in 3Delight, the skin doesn&#39;t always render properly. Sometimes it renders all white. Other times it will render all black. Usually, re-rendering it fixes the problem. However, why is it happening and how can I prevent it from happening?</p>

<p>I often start a rendering, which I know will take several hours, just before going to bed or stepping out to work and it&#39;s a waste of time to come back to see that it wasn&#39;t done properly and has to be done again.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I realise this has been mentioned before but I felt like bringing it up again.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I bought the Decimator plugin last night thinking it&#39;d do what it said in the description. Unfortunately the only thing it seems to decimate is my Daz3D app.&nbsp;I tried doing the &quot;wait four seconds&quot; trick... but it&#39;s still more fickle than it ought be.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This would all be semi-acceptable if it cost $1. Even $10. But $100.95? Was the 95c added just as an extra slap on the face?</p>

<p>Sorry if I come across as angry, but I suppose I am. Can anyone provide contact details for the developer? I&#39;d like to know if they plan to fix it and if not would like my money back.</p>

<p>PS this is on two systems; one 12c 3.46ghz/64GB/dual 1080 Ti, and one 4ghz/32gb/1080 Ti Macs. So system resources is not the issue here (unless Daz is not addressing all that is there?)</p>

<p>I already searched for converters, looked in hexagon if there is an option for this, but nothing found. I think Carrara has an option for exporting to .wrl.&nbsp;</p>

Render times differ drastically(using 3delight).I lowered Render SubD to 1 and still no change. I load Lilith 6,T pose,no hair,no clothes,simple lighting,hit render......bam..2 minutes and done. Load Olympia 6, same settings and poof....2 minutes. Load Adrienne,hit render and poof.....pop....um...pow? 37 minutes.       <description><![CDATA[<p>Just exploring under the hood and came across what looks like a strange discrepancy which appears internally consistent, in that the product still works correctly, yet propagates throughout the .dsf definition files.</p>

<p>The expected naming convention for the figure&#39;s hand nodes appears to have been inexplicably deviated from in the case of the left pinky finger&#39;s mid-palm carpal node, which has an id of &quot;lCarpal2-1&quot; instead of &quot;lCarpal4&quot;, which would match the naming convention in the right hand nodes. It&#39;s not broken, as such, it just triggers my OCD to see such a thing.</p>

<p>Is it possibly a legacy of previous figures, adhered to for the sake of posing compatibility, or a ghastly typo that was fixed by making every related node reference match the typo, instead of the other way around.</p>

<p>This feature appears in &lt;content-root&gt;/data/DAZ 3D/Genesis 8/Female/Genesis8Female.dsf, so it&#39;s built right into the figure.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi everybody.</p>

<p>Well, my harddrive is full...<img alt="wink" src="https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/wink_smile.png" title="wink" />&nbsp;and old which is the more serious problem. I bought an external drive and opened up a new Library a while ago. So&nbsp;I have two Libraries for Daz now. A new&nbsp;one which I started when the new harddrive arrived&nbsp;and an old one which I hesitated to move to a fresh location because... you know, 12 hours of copying files. Now, I know how to tell Daz where to look for the Libraries but how do I tell the DIM where the old stuff went? I mean I can tell it&nbsp;where to install new products but normally DIM installs updates of existing products in their &quot;respective installed paths&quot; which in case of the old stuff are&nbsp;now all wrong.</p>

<p>Is there an elegant&nbsp;method to solve this problem without reinstalling some 400 GB of content? Or for future data transfers which are the best strategies&nbsp;for moving and merging Libraries concerning the Install Manager?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m playing with the tiff files for some old, 3Delight light sets that were in the freebie pile recently. I get nice results by plugging the tifs into the environment map under the render settings tab, but DS won&#39;t let me save them out as a light preset because there&#39;s no spotlight, distant light, etc in the scene. Clearly there&#39;s some way of doing this, because I own a bunch of DimensionTheory Iray presets that are pure environment lights, but I don&#39;t know how.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello! I got Reality for Daz, and cannot figure how to render the background in it. What I mean is that in my viewport it is set to white, but this is not what it is rendering. Also how to render a background picture?</p>

<p>Oh and also, the textures, like lips and such are not rendering very properly... I wonder why. Is this a light problem and which light works with Reality?</p>
