      <description><![CDATA[<p>For the oddest reason some of the characters I&#39;m using won&#39;t load certain morphs, shape, ect and I know I have it because I open an older figure and the morph is there but it won&#39;t load for the newer one I&#39;m making.</p>

<p>And before someone makes this comment... they are all the same genesis just different figures.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello. Sorry if this isn&#39;t the right place to ask but there&#39;s no Web or Store help subforum.</p>

<p>I&#39;ve been away for some time (obviouly long enough for the forum to consider this my first post) and when i came back i decided to clear my whishlist of old stuff i no longer need or want but there&#39;s 5 &quot;ghost&quot; items i can&#39;t remove. There&#39;s no name, image or description, just 5 empty items that stay there with no remove button. The image frame shows the loading circle and there&#39;s just a single &quot;<big><strong>-</strong></big>&quot; where the description should be. It&#39;s not a big deal but if there&#39;s any way to remove those it would make it cleaner if i ever add something back.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m currently having some problem with the decimator and the export. It seems that the FBX export is ignoring the decimated object but instead trying to export the object in full resolution instead of the decimated version.&nbsp;</p>

<p>See capture2.jpg for Hydra head 5 it is showing 293533 and yet I have decimated that part as well as the rest of the object but somehow it is not acknowledging it. As it should be only 2523 for the fifth head. And the rest of the body poly counts should match what displayed on the decimator (capture.jpg) but is not.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Can someone suggest a fix?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>The product Genesis 8 Female Fantasy Morph Resource Kit acts strange on my pc as the morphs which in my opinion should adjust the skeleton don&#39;t and some face morphs are off.&nbsp; It&#39;s possible this is an issue on my PC. Can someone who has the item please test the following morphs if they look normal around&nbsp;the eyes or like mine.<br />

<p>I have used this script a lot and its pretty easy to understand. The problem I have with it, it while it seems to be converting poses it no longer makes the thumbnails. So it just converts the poses. Yes, I can open and resave the pose to get the image, but I would like the thumbnails to work.</p>

<p>Tried reinstalling G8F and Chloe, but no luck. &nbsp;(DS 4.10, Win 10.)&nbsp;Any suggestions?</p>

<p>but in reverse order to convert G8F to G3F character. I managed to transfer the character morphs successfully. Next, I saved the material and shader presets&nbsp;from the G8F figure, and applied them onto the G3F figure (Applying base mat of the G8F directly to G3F figure resulted in an error). This works for everything except the eyes. The G3F version has a darker circle around the iris, which is incorrect. Also, I noticed the G3F eyeballs are slightly larger. Why does this happen and how to solve it?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I decided to check for updates, and there was one.&nbsp; I closed DAZ and installed it.&nbsp; Now when I open the scene I was working on the water element flashes colors when I move my mouse cursor across navigation widgets in viewport.&nbsp; I am using &quot;texture shaded&quot; as the viewport setting.</p>

<p>Also new error in logs: &quot;2017-12-08 16:01:18.152 OpenGL error while drawing to the viewport: invalid value&quot; &nbsp; This seems to be repeated everytime I make the color flash by moving my mouse.&nbsp; I tried updating my Nvidia drivers (there was a new one), but no change.</p>

<p>Any ideas?</p>

<p>Oh, this is on Windows 10 with a GTX 1050 TI video card.</p>

<p>Edit to add: It seems to effect just one camera.&nbsp; If I am viewing through that camera (called &quot;Inside CAM&quot;) the problem is the persistent flashing.&nbsp; If using any other camera the problem goes away unless I have &quot;Inside CAM&quot; selected in the scene list.&nbsp; Then the water changes color and stays that color.&nbsp; No flashing or mouse movement... it just sticks to being colored.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>P.S, I do NOT want image editing in like photoshop. This image will be an animation for a game with like 200 frames, because this is just a test image. I want it to be able to be fixed inside Daz3D rendering.</p>

<p>I&#39;m trying to add a model with shadow and transparent background to a grass background, however when I add the shadow on the grass background layer the shadow becomes like light grey and look very bad. Any suggestions?</p>

<p>I render 2 pictures, Model + Background and then try to glue them together but the shadows looks horrible doing that way with the knowledge I have now.<br />
<br />
Right now, this problem will fuck up my game, BAD!, So I seriously need some help here.</p>

<p>As you see, darker shadow does not work better. I will bump this post until I hopefully get someone who knows about this problem.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m wondering if it is possible to have a full body morph partially applied to a Genesis 8 Figure. For example, let&#39;s say we have a full body morph such as this&nbsp;</p>

<p>I would like to apply only the head morph to the figure, leaving the rest of the body as is. The product does not come with partial morphs.</p>

<p>I tried to export the head as an .obj file and reimport, but I seem to lose a lot of detail since I have to export it without subdivision. Clearly I&#39;m doing something wrong or using the wrong approach. Could you help me?</p>

<p>But I am having a terrible time to&nbsp; get the stick to pose correctly with the player poses.</p>

<p>I read the following from the the included readme.<span> </span></p>

<p>But the stick poses nowhere near the player. And yes I am parenting the right stick to the right hand and then choicing the recommend poses for the right hand stick player.</p>

<p>I also tried the left stick and left player poses with similar results.</p>

<p>Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated...</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>So&nbsp;I had to reformat my pc and do a fresh install on everything including&nbsp;Daz3d, I normally use the DIM but I had opted to reinstall everything directly through the program in the install tab as I saw everything ive purchased in there.&nbsp; Now it shows that everything I purchased was installed but there are a few that just have the thumbnail but nothing under it as shown in the picture.&nbsp; Normally there would be poses under the thumbnail, I am having the same issues with the ethnicity morphs, body morph,s etc... most of everything did install fine so im wondering what is going on. I tried doing the content db maintenance to reimport the meta data, I also tried resetting it and reinstalling everything... any ideas on what else to try..I checked browse folder location and it has only the DSON Support files but no&nbsp;DSON User files on everything that is missing.. any ideas</p>

<p>I&#39;m wondering if there was an update or something. Studio worked just fine last night, but when I try it today... Things have changed drastically.</p>

<p>1. I can&#39;t zero the figure from going to the edit&gt;figure option. Its now under the hamburger menu? Why?</p>

<p>2.&nbsp; Studio wants to be in front of anything I have open on my computer which is a problem since I use a laptp and there isn&#39;t a lot of real estate. Right now I am typing this in my browser from behind studio. Because it won&#39;t allow me to open a browser in front of it any longer.</p>

<p>3. All my custom scripts just have gone.</p>

<p>I did try reseting the interface and resinstalling studio... But...Studio was working fine last night... And now this...</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I was working on an older set, Stonemason&#39;s The Tin Can, converting it to Iray, mainly the lights (lots of ambients to replace). The surfaces are fairly easy, and I was just going with straight DAZ Iray Uber to start.</p>

<p>So, I changed all the lights, made a few renders, tweaked the lights, and eventually saved as a .duf scene to continue later.</p>

<p>Thing is, when I re-open the scene file, all the textures are simple colours, basically the average of the bitmap used for any given surface. Now, there&#39;s a lot of detail in those texture maps, it&#39;s a beaten-up old space ship or base interior with lots of wear and tear. The surface settings still show the original texture bitmaps in all their grungy glory, but the viewport and any renders are all blandness. The original uses the DAZ Studio Default shader on all surfaces, nothing fancy.</p>

<p>I hadn&#39;t converted the surfaces yet, so I thought maybe mixing Iray and 3DL might have mucked things up, but there are many products that mix the two. I tried saving again with a clean load of the original scene file (.daz format) which loads and previews as advertised. I didn&#39;t alter a single thing, just immediately saved as a scene, and the same thing happened when I loaded that saved scene. Total blandness. Removing a bitmap from a surface and adding it back in has no effect.</p>

<p>I tried a couple other contemporary products (Urban Future 2, The Arc, Tin Pan Alley, all with a .daz format) but they save and load as .duf no problem. Kind of useless to continue with this product if I can&#39;t reproduce the scene. Can someone else with &quot;The Tin Can&quot; see if this happens with them? And if so, what the heck is wrong?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>The filter box in the paramaters tab lets you type a name to find morphs whith&nbsp;thos characters.&nbsp; Usfull if I need something for they eyes, I can filter on eye and get most of them and nothing else. Cool.</p>

<p>But sometimes in a long list of morphs (specifically pose controls) I don&#39;t recall in a saved scene which ones I activated. This is usually with expressions, where I have dozens of expressions as pose&nbsp;controls.&nbsp; I&#39;ll often t hrow in some &quot;Angry&quot; plus a little &quot;confused&quot; and maybe &quot;gloomy&quot; to get a unique and appropriate expression. But when I look at &quot;currently used&quot; it&#39;s filled with all the little morphs that the pose control activataed, not the pose control itself. So I go to pose controls and I have to tediously scroll through the whole list to see which have non-zero value and zero them by hand.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In GenX you can transfer only morphs with values that are&nbsp;non-zero. So I know it&#39;s possible via a script of some sort to go find them. I am wondering if (a) such a script exists for just this purpose or (b) if there is some other way inside studio to filter on values vice names.&nbsp; Any ideas?</p>

      <title>Strange Problem with G3F and V7 shapes</title>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Every single time I load G3F from one of the Actors in Smart Content or Content Library she always has V7 dialled to 100%. I go to the Shaping tab and look in People/Real World and there it is every single time: Victoria 7 at 100%. She still looks mostly like G3F but if I dial V7 down to zero she looks a bit different. Her body is less curvy and her face is slightly different. If I load any other G3F based character the same thing happens. And of course I can&#39;t get V7 by dialling her morph to 100 on the shaping tab after I set it back to zero. If I load a body and head morph onto G3F after dialling V7 to zero it usually looks like the promo images for that character. BUT if I then load the V7 Actor into the same scene (she DOES load looking like she is supposed to) the G3F based character changes again. She gets taller and skinnier with a very small waist and her face looks a lot like a big baby with giant eyes, etc. The look varies slightly from character to character but it&#39;s not a large variation. And the strange thing is that when I check the shaping tab V7 is still set to zero! If I REM the head and body morphs after V7 has messed them up the figure doesn&#39;t go back to G3F either. It looks like it sticks somewhere between G3F and the BabyFace. The only way to get G3F back is to delete the figure from the scene, load her up again and set the stupid V7 slider to zero% yet again. Doesn&#39;t seem to matter if I use body and face shaping or load an Actor. If there is a Full-Body morph in the shaping tab for that character I can dial it to zero but the figure doesn&#39;t go back to G3F and is once again stuck in between.</p>

<p>Not really sure what is going on in the logfile. There are about 1650 lines like:&nbsp;</p>

<p>I deleted the Genesis 3 Starter Essentials from the Products&nbsp;via Content Library to make sure the metadata was gone, uninstalled it in DIM, deleted the local file, downloaded fresh via DIM and installed it. Makes no difference and I still have the problem. G2F and Victoria 6 work just fine and the same with Genesis and V5. I&#39;m at my wits end. The only other thing I can think of to try is to toss my whole installation in the trash and install everything again from scratch. I REALLY don&#39;t want to do that because I have a TON of stuff I would have to reinstall. My product library here on the website has 44 pages so I think that&#39;s over 1600 products.</p>

<p>Anybody ever have anything like this happen to their installation? Any suggestions?</p>
